It started off rough. Got into the hotel early to leave our luggage and the guy manning the check in was cold, standoffish, and didn’t even bother replying to our pleasantries. When we returned, a misunderstanding ensured. Cos of my earlier encounter, I was just unreasonable. But thank goodness for Suhaila (I think) and her manager - they deescalated the situation with grace and aplomb. That bump aside, I had a lovely time. Was in room 213. Initially I was worried because I have read about noise issues coming from the club next door. But either the club was closed or the soundproofing worked, there were no disturbances. We slept like babies. The room was beautiful, and the location is amazing. This hotel is highly Recommended. Just don’t bother to pay extra for the breakfast. That was just too sad. We tried it on our last day in the hotel as we were leaving early for the airport. It was dismal.

A unique accommodation in the heart of Georgetown. This was the perfect location and within walking distance of many places of interest as well as local and western eateries. The staff at this place go above and beyond. Staying there for a week you start to feel a part of the family. They are able to organize tours, drivers and laundry at request. The rooms itself was spacious and around the side of the building meaning it was well hidden and the rooms; you really feel like you are staying in a authentic Malaysian mansion given the decor. Last but not least there is the resident cat ”Mike” who you will undoubtedly come across for pats throughout the day. We also got breakfast during the stay and they have a local or western option. My advice go for the roti- was very yummy. All in all I would recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to stay in Georgetown and would stay there again if I return.

Hotel yang sangat tenang dan selesa. Bilik suite adalah besar dan mempunyai ruang yang cukup. Semuanya bersih dan selesa. Lagipun, ia adalah rumah lama, dan kemudahan dan peralatan mungkin agak lama, tetapi ia boleh digunakan seperti biasa dan kecacatan tidak disembunyikan. Apabila matahari bersinar di luar, sangat selesa untuk mempunyai penghawa dingin di dalam bilik dan baring di atas katil dan melihat pemandangan di luar melalui tingkap. Mungkin agak dikesalkan kerana tidak ada pantai di sini (tetapi saya melihat anjing laut!), tetapi sekali lagi, jika ada pantai, mungkin tidak ada kesucian yang jarang berlaku di sini. Ia sangat sejuk dan selesa untuk turun ke tingkat bawah pada waktu pagi dan petang dan menikmati angin laut. Bufet sarapan pagi di Heritage Wing mempunyai sangat sedikit pilihan, tetapi bahagian dan rasa hidangan a la carte sangat sedap. Saya mendengar dari orang lain bahawa minum petang dan makan malam di sini juga terkenal. Malangnya, saya selalu berjaga semua siang dan keluar malam. Tiada peluang untuk mengalaminya. Lima minit jauhnya adalah bekas kediaman Cheung Fatt Tze, dan ia juga sangat dekat dengan dim sum generasi kedua yang kaya. Jika anda tidak takut panas atau elakkan bermula awal atau lewat tengah hari, anda boleh pergi ke George Town dengan berjalan kaki. Saya secara peribadi sangat menyukai hotel ini. Saya berasa santai dan santai.

I paid 150 RMB for high tea today and although the product was creative and a bit fun I left hungry. My main issue however was the service. It appears there was no manager on duty because the staff were messing about on their mobile phones and I had to always ask them for things because they were focussed on chatting and their phones. It wasn’t 5 star at all and having managed hotels the service was actually appalling. I found a bit of plastic in one of the dishes and the staff member just took it from me and threw it in the bin. No acknowledgement. Then I was waiting in the lobby for my cab and I can hear front desk staff laughing and messing about. They were only interested in messing about. I feel cheated by todays experience and I hope they get manager back on duty soon because today it was not being managed at all

Hotel ini sangat cantik, terdapat gula-gula di dalam bilik dan peti sejuk yang kaya dengan minuman. Persekitaran minum kopi di dalam bilik terasa lebih ketinggalan zaman daripada banyak kedai kopi. Lokasinya sangat baik. Ia mengambil masa beberapa minit untuk berjalan kaki ke Jalan Graffiti dan Muzium Nyonya. Sebuah teksi ke Penang Hill berharga sepuluh atau dua puluh ringgit. Makanan di restoran juga sangat kaya, dan terdapat keseluruhan sarang lebah yang diletakkan di sana yang sangat menarik. Satu-satunya perkara yang saya ingin mengeluh tentang bekalan. Kertas tandas sangat nipis dan berus gigi sangat keras. Hotel sebegitu rupa dengan barangan keperluan harian sebegitu agak terbentang, harap pihak kedai dapat memperbaikinya dengan sewajarnya.

The white elevator is very unique to this elevator. Tho it was slow but I don’t mind bec it so chic with glass door. Very unique indeed! Love it though I wasn’t able to take pic. 😒 +++ white elevator, water refilling dispenser, very spacious room & bathroom +++ location was quite away from the main action but there are 2 bus stops nearby, komtar & chowrasta are 5-10mins walk +++ they provide dental kit, small soap, nice shampoo/conditioner & body wash, mugs, electric kettle, safe, ref, ac was functioning very well, room telephone, tv but i did not use it +++ free wifi was good —- reception is not very friendly except for 1 Indian guy who promptly answers whatsapp tho he mistaken me for a guy at first 😄, the chinese receptionist hardly smiles, indian lady seemed to not know anything when you ask about tourist spots (i think hotel people should equip themselves with some knowledge on tourism. I mean there should be basic orientation by management on this. Times had changed and you need to have these extra customer service, just suggesting). —- i was in the assumption that cleaning is daily but i was told every other day but i still need to remind them about it. Entire hotel can use some improvement in the cleaning — no closet inside the room, you just have to hang your stuff —- my view was a huge wall —- soundproofing is bad, very noisy when people close doors or children running around. You hear toilet flushing from nearby rooms —- it was raining when I arrive and nobody offered an umbrella except on the second day when the janitor heard me. That was appreciated very much. It also made me realize that umbrella is a weapon for solo travellers so that made the carrying a little easier —- towels smell mushy maybe bec of rainy season —- sometimes bathroom had some drainage smells —- food choices was a little limited in area unless you walk for like 5-10mins. Overall stay was still on the good side. I had way worst stays than this. I did enjoy my solo trip to Penang and would love to go back. I plan to stay next time near the street art areas where the actions are. I would still recommend le embassy to other travellers.

Lokasi bagus kerana jalan tidak terlalu sibuk. Terdapat lebih kurang 12+ tempat letak kereta untuk tetamu di tingkat bawah jadi jika ia bukan waktu puncak, anda tidak perlu risau tentang tempat letak kereta. Bilik itu bagus tetapi cadar mendapat sedikit noda. Tempat yang bagus untuk harga.

Location is very near with de best place such as pasembur padang kota,jeruk pak ali,deen maju nasi kandar,museum food and etc. Lobi sangat baik dan selesa dengan kanak-kanak kerana mempunyai beberapa taman permainan. Buat pertama kali saya masuk ke dalam bilik mendapat bau dan tidak baik untuk mandi. Saya harap boleh lebih berwaspada tentang pembersihan bilik untuk masa hadapan. dan hendaklah menyatakan saiz bilik dalam laman web/dalam talian kerana pandangan peribadi adalah kecil daripada lihat dalam rajah. Penerima terima perlu mempelajari lebih lanjut/menaik taraf cara melayani tetamu semasa daftar masuk.Secara keseluruhannya, saya boleh memberi 3/5 bintang.

- Harga dianggap murah untuk tinggal lama - Wifi buruk, tidak benar-benar dapat menghantar mesej atau menonton video. Tetapi beberapa hari masih baik-baik saja - Bilik yang luas - Alat kawalan jauh penghawa dingin kehabisan bateri, tidak dapat menukar kipas, berayun.. We stayed with the Ascott group numerous times for its cleanliness and well-maintained facilities around the world, and Citadines Connect Georgetown is no exception. The building is renovated from a historical building which gives the hotel a mixture of cultural and contemporary vibe. It's a 3-story newly-built hotel and everything you see is brand new and tidy. The lobby is not large, but there are plentiful spaces to rest for a while. The room we stayed in is Studio Executive, and it's clean enough. The air-conditioning system utilized a touch panel for you to easily adjust to your liking. There are no drinking bottles inside the room but a water dispenser is just in the hallway, both environment-friendly and convenient. One of the things worthy of notice is the tap water system, where hot and cold water may be installed conversely. The hotel itself is located around minutes walk from Komtar neighborhood, and you can easily take buses to the airport or to other areas of Penang via the Komtar terminal. Several malls are also in this area to give you the convenience of shopping. The well-known hawker food centre at Lebuh Presgrave crossroad is also close by, where you can easily grab most of the famous and delicious local dishes here. CAT bus station is also not far from the hotel, and you can tour the UNESCO sites with it for a day trip. Overall, it's an excellent choice to stay here for its brand-new facilities, and its convenience regarding transportation, shopping, and dining.

這麼棒的酒店竟然攜程上評價很少，我也是因為一些原因之前訂的酒店沒有被接單，攜程幫我換到這裏，一開始有點忐忑啊，門臉非常小差點就沒找到，但是進去別有洞天。非常有特色，聽出租司機介紹這個樓有百年歷史，後來翻新做了酒店，真的很厲害！整體感覺乾淨，安靜，有中文前台，服務非常好，詳細介紹了周邊吃飯和買東西的地方。院子景觀別緻，游泳池小巧精緻。早餐每天不一樣，提前一天去前台小姐姐那裡選，雖然不是自助但是絕對絕對夠吃而且味道非常非常贊！這裏住的外國人很多，早餐時候感覺自己像在歐洲而不是東南亞！房間有一個單人床一個雙人床，如果是帶孩子的一家三口，孩子超過5歲會額外收80一天的費用，這樣客房服務會幫我們準備單人床的被褥並且多準備一份早餐！客房每天提供礦泉水，膠囊咖啡，room service 後會放個小零食在被子上，特別可愛温馨！床品舒服，洗澡用品不錯！ 位置在喬治城中心，距離有名的88蝦麪很近，附近有個大商場，大超市，711，福祿壽餅店，走路去壁畫街20分鐘，打車去周圍幾個打卡點基本10多塊就可以！

The location was easy to find, check-in process was smooth, and everything was great. The receptionist was very friendly, and the cleanliness of the room was fine. Me and my friend booked the same room type but we had 2 different designs of room, she had bigger room with smaller toilet, and conversely mine was bigger toilet but smaller room. I prefer hers as my room is very small and there are no place for our luggage. Also, the view of my room is just the wall of other building, while my friend's is the nice view especially at night (can see the bar and the food truck downstair). Suggest contact the receptionist to confirm the room design before you book. BTW their corridor was super nice. Overall, highly recommended and satisfied!

全家一起住太合適啦！！在檳城住過酒店住過愛彼迎，這裏真的是性價比天花板。本來擔心老房子會有問題，結果體驗超好，該有的都有，床、桌子、地板都質感很棒，清潔比很多酒店還要用心（潔癖認證）。隔壁是大名鼎鼎的汕頭街，鴨粿汁炒粿條燒肉飯茶樓點心糖水根本吃不完……超市，洗衣房啥的附近也都有，房間的樓下正好賣檳城特產，房東還給送代金券哈哈哈哈 全五星，謝謝房東和店裡大家的照顧！
