Good location, room quality depends, if facing street, very noisy, even for the whole night, because of garbage trucks, some room has sewage smell, but if not facing street, and change a smelly room, perfect.

The location was perfect. Less than 10mins walk from the Florence S.M.Novella station and less than 5mins walk from Piazza del Duomo. The room was clean and capable. Spaces are enough for two big suitcase to be opened at the same time. One thing to complain was when we arrive at the hotel for check-in. The front desk couldn't find my reservations. I told the women in-charge that I booked the room from trip.com but she keeps saying I booked it from *********** where she couldn't find my reservation. At the end she end up finding and said : I don't know why your booking has been cancelled. Fourtunately, another staff showed up. His attitude was way better and asked me not to worry even if my reservation was cancelled they still have spare room for us. At the end he made it to find our reservation and we did our check-in. Overall, the experience during the stay was good. Besides from the little accident during check-in, I would like to stay in this hotel again when I visit Firenze again.

Erik and all staff are so friendly. The social hub hotel has a lot of facilities and very clean. The hotel was located in the best location with 10min walk from the Firenze station. I very recommend this hotel for everyone who visit Firenze.

The hotel is conveniently located near the central station. But the street is too narrow and noisy when there were traffic. The staff are not friendly nor helpful. The only time you feel you are welcome was you booked tours through them. The breakfast room is small and in the basement. There is no view throughout the whole hotel.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel, particularly at the rooftop bar. What should have been an enjoyable evening turned into a very uncomfortable and upsetting experience due to the way my wife and I were treated by the staff. From the moment we arrived, we felt unwelcome and were spoken to in a rude and dismissive manner. While other guests appeared to be treated with courtesy and respect, we were met with a noticeably different attitude. The interaction left us feeling singled out and humiliated. Although I cannot know the exact reason for the treatment we received, it gave the impression that we may have been judged because we are Arab and/or Muslim. No guest should ever leave a hospitality venue feeling that their background, ethnicity, or religion has influenced the way they are treated. A luxury hotel should uphold the highest standards of professionalism, respect, and inclusivity. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of those expectations. I hope management investigates the conduct of the rooftop bar staff and takes steps to ensure that all guests are treated equally and with respect, regardless of their nationality, ethnicity, or faith. Sadly, because of this experience, I would not recommend this hotel.

Nice location, friendly stuff & helpful, they spent more than half hour exploring the area around and even arranging table for us in a good restaurant nearby the hotel  Loved the room lights behind the bed

The apartment is clean and equipped with everything you need. The bed is comfortable, the room is spacious. The check-in instructions were clear. The noise from the street was disturbing. Even with the window closed, you can hear the sound of every passing tram. It is no coincidence that earplugs were prepared, although they cannot improve the vibration caused by the passing tram much. And a personal note. In my previous booking, at other accommodations, the host's communication - despite the fact that there is no personal meeting - usually includes some kindness and personal attention. This was not the case here, although it would have been nice.

The hotel's central location made it convenient for me to explore the city on foot and truly immerse myself in its rich history and culture. The hotel itself has a charming and elegant ambiance. The interior is tastefully decorated, combining classic elements with modern touches. The common areas, such as the lobby and lounge, are inviting and provide a comfortable space to relax after a day of sightseeing. The staff at the Anglo American Hotel deserves special praise. From the moment I arrived, they were friendly, professional, and attentive. They were always ready to assist with any queries or requests I had, and their local knowledge and recommendations were invaluable in helping me navigate the city and discover hidden gems. My room at the hotel was spacious and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable, and the room amenities, including a flat-screen TV and minibar, met my expectations. I was there with my wife for 7 days-6 nights. The location is great, we used it as a base for our daily trips by car. The Apartment was ok, the water in the bathroom sink couldnt go throught fast, which was not that nice. The reception in the night shaft was very kind and friendly. The reception in the day shaft was very uncomfortable, he discussed every single word you said and never try to solve your problems in an easy way. As we checked in, the night shaft told us after we have asked that we could get 1 time free cleaning cause we are staying for 7 days. I told the day reception one day before, and the day after we called and asked when they are comming? The answers were like you are asking a politician why he lost in his elections. Welllll we dont knoww, maybe 10, maybe 3pm, we said sir we want to go out, we dont want to do that before we close our door and be sure that no body is comming. Again he started to philosophize every single explanation. Alot of other examples. In general, the employee can be a problem solver, or making it more complicated. Te kind thing was that i asked him to print me two papers, he did (after telling me to go to the website and search for their email during he has a business card in his hands). The breakfast for extra 12 euro per person was not good, unhealthy, and very very simple and cheap. Not even a fresh juice (juice machine full with sugar instead). First day not any kind of egg, we asked why, they said it is sunday we didnt get egg! Only mini croissants, mini butter, jam, toast, bread, little of salad leaves, if you dont catch the first dish of fresh tomato, you will not see it again. I would not pay more than 5 euro for this breakfast. The place itself was very calm, green, big, and beautiful. It is on the top of the mountain, you have a wonderful restaurant nearby, nice area to walk throught. Good connected to the highway (8-10 minutes to the highway). The gym was very old and neglected. The pool was closed as we we were there.
