If I could give 20 stars, I absolutely would! This hotel liked apartment in Florence was my best stay ever in Italy. The apartment was meticulously clean, everything looked brand new and thoughtfully maintained. It was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, from the bathroom to the kitchen. Honestly, you can arrive with just your luggage and feel completely at home. The room was super spacious, the bed incredibly comfortable, and daily cleaning was provided. One detail that truly impressed us, we left some dirty dishes in the morning, fully expecting to wash them ourselves in the evening, but the staff actually did our dishes as well. That level of care and attention is rare. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and professional, always ready to assist with a smile. The location is perfect, walkable to major attractions and very well connected by tram and buses, making getting around Florence effortless. An outstanding stay from start to finish. Highly, highly recommended!

Nice location, friendly stuff & helpful, they spent more than half hour exploring the area around and even arranging table for us in a good restaurant nearby the hotel  Loved the room lights behind the bed

I love my stay here in the social hub, recommend everyone esp for solo female traveller! Pros - good location next to tram station (very impt) - theres a cafe inside the hotel which is a gd place for breakfast and hotel - thankyou maria for helping me check-in, she was the only staff in the hotel who showed great hospitality and kindness which made my stay confortable - 24/7 gym! But air ventilation has room for improvement - the rooftop area was so big, with good vibes good views and a bar. (Pool was not available during my stay) - room was clean and well furnished

The hotel is conveniently located near the central station. But the street is too narrow and noisy when there were traffic. The staff are not friendly nor helpful. The only time you feel you are welcome was you booked tours through them. The breakfast room is small and in the basement. There is no view throughout the whole hotel.

I have spend three nights at this hotel. Remarkably easy to do self check-in as I came after reception was closed. Gabriel at the reception was very detailed and caring. Location: quiet neighborhood but only 15 mins walk from downtown, this combination was perfect for me. AC was next to the window, cold air from the side, which created comfortable temperature in the room without coming down directly at bed

The apartment is clean and equipped with everything you need. The bed is comfortable, the room is spacious. The check-in instructions were clear. The noise from the street was disturbing. Even with the window closed, you can hear the sound of every passing tram. It is no coincidence that earplugs were prepared, although they cannot improve the vibration caused by the passing tram much. And a personal note. In my previous booking, at other accommodations, the host's communication - despite the fact that there is no personal meeting - usually includes some kindness and personal attention. This was not the case here, although it would have been nice.

The common areas, such as the lobby and lounge, are inviting and provide a comfortable space to relax after a day of sightseeing. The staff at the Anglo American Hotel deserves special praise. From the moment I arrived, they were friendly, professional, and attentive. They were always ready to assist with any queries or requests I had, and their local knowledge and recommendations were invaluable in helping me navigate the city and discover hidden gems. My room at the hotel was spacious and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable, and the room amenities, including a flat-screen TV and minibar, met my expectations. The cleanliness and tidiness of the room were maintained throughout my stay, thanks to the diligent housekeeping staff. While the hotel does not have an on-site restaurant, it does offer a delicious breakfast buffet each morning. The breakfast spread was varied and catered to different tastes and dietary preferences. I particularly enjoyed the freshly baked pastries and the selection of local cheeses and cured meats. One minor drawback was the absence of a fitness center or spa facilities within the hotel. However, the staff was helpful in providing information about nearby fitness centers and wellness options, ensuring that guests have access to these amenities if desired. In summary, my stay at the Anglo American Hotel Florence was a delightful experience. The prime location, attentive staff, and comfortable accommodations contributed to a memorable visit to this beautiful city. While the absence of certain amenities was a minor drawback, it did not significantly impact my overall satisfaction with the hotel. I was there with my wife for 7 days-6 nights. The location is great, we used it as a base for our daily trips by car. The Apartment was ok, the water in the bathroom sink couldnt go throught fast, which was not that nice. The reception in the night shaft was very kind and friendly. The reception in the day shaft was very uncomfortable, he discussed every single word you said and never try to solve your problems in an easy way. As we checked in, the night shaft told us after we have asked that we could get 1 time free cleaning cause we are staying for 7 days. I told the day reception one day before, and the day after we called and asked when they are comming? The answers were like you are asking a politician why he lost in his elections. Welllll we dont knoww, maybe 10, maybe 3pm, we said sir we want to go out, we dont want to do that before we close our door and be sure that no body is comming. Again he started to philosophize every single explanation. Alot of other examples. In general, the employee can be a problem solver, or making it more complicated. Te kind thing was that i asked him to print me two papers, he did (after telling me to go to the website and search for their email during he has a business card in his hands). The breakfast for extra 12 euro per person was not good, unhealthy, and very very simple and cheap. Not even a fresh juice (juice machine full with sugar instead). First day not any kind of egg, we asked why, they said it is sunday we didnt get egg! Only mini croissants, mini butter, jam, toast, bread, little of salad leaves, if you dont catch the first dish of fresh tomato, you will not see it again. I would not pay more than 5 euro for this breakfast. The place itself was very calm, green, big, and beautiful. It is on the top of the mountain, you have a wonderful restaurant nearby, nice area to walk throught. Good connected to the highway (8-10 minutes to the highway). The gym was very old and neglected. The pool was closed as we we were there.
