Hotels being incredibly expensive in the Hague, we went for the Best Western as we knew the standard. The room was very small. The sink was outside the bathroom - quite strange. So you had 2 waste bins in the room and none in the bathroom. The bed was excellent. The pillows small but larger ones were provided on request. The shower was really good and so too were the towels. Great to have car-parking on site at a reasonable price. Local taxis were surprisingly cheap!

I reserved a hotel with bath inside the room. When we arrived it was farely busy in the hotel due to the check in times. We waited for 20 minutes to check in and were told we got upgraded to a wellness room with a sauna. We took a walk along the beach which is litteraly in front of the hotel and we enjoyed a nice jacuzzi and sauna the rest of the evening. With a stunning view along the beach and city. Yes it was pricey! And parking in front of the hotel is 25€ per day or 6,50€ per hour which is really expensive (the hotel cant do anything about the parking fees because of the government, but maybe public transport is an option for you) Pricey, but absolutely worth every penny. And dont forget you get access to their own wellness included with your room!

This is an older hotel and the upkeep hasn’t been up to standards. The security chain on our door was missing, and the shower head in the bathroom was not appropriate for the shower stall, which has a half wall of glass separating it from the rest of the bathroom, with the other half open. Instead of directing the water straight down (rainfall style) the non-adjustable shower head spreads the water pattern out, which sprays water out of the shower stall into the other half of the bathroom. We had to use the flexible shower wand to keep from making a mess in the bathroom. Breakfast was good, but very crowded on Saturdays. We booked the room with dinner included, but there seemed to have been communication or procedural problems between the front desk staff (which were very nice, but the way) and the restaurant staff (also very nice) on how to use the coupons. We’re issued a multiday coupon, which the restaurant staff insisted they had to take from us on the first day for proof of service, so we had to go back and asked for individual coupons for each day. The location was a little far from center of town, so walking there takes 30-45 minutes. It’s close to parks though, so good if you like nature. In conclusion, it’s an okay place to stay, but not someplace to rave about.

Wir sind ganz spontan (einen Tag vorher gebucht) in den Niederlanden angekommen und zusammen mit unserem Hund eingecheckt. Der Empfang war sehr nett und im Zimmer stand schon eine Hundeschale mit Ball und Leckerlies bereit. -Ach so, wir waren im Erdgeschoss im Altbau untergebracht. Die Zimmergröße war ok. Allerdings fehlt jegliche Ablagefläche für einen Koffer und einen Schrank gab es auch nicht, lediglich ein offenes Regal mit ein paar Kleiderbügeln. Auch im Bad gab es lediglich 2 Haken für Handtücher und leider gab es im Bad auch keine Heizung....das war ordentlich kalt. Leider waren auch Flecken in der Bettwäsche vorhanden, ich vermute mal, die sind bei der Wäsche nicht rausgegangen...nicht schön. Die Betten sind nicht gerade bequem, aber wir sind ansonsten Wasserbettschläfer, denke da sind wir verwöhnt. Der Außenbereich war etwas ”schrammelig”, die Leihfahrräder lagen mehr oder weniger vor der Tür im Dreck. -Eigentlich alles Sachen, die man mit sehr wenig Aufwand etwas ansprechender gestalten könnte. Ja, ich kann meinen Vorrednern nur zustimmen, es ist sehr hellhörig. Unschlagbar ist aber die Lage, ca. 100 m und da ist man schon am Strand und zum Pier sind es vielleicht 5 bis 10 Minuten Fußweg. -Aber hey, wir haben für 2 Nächte 180 € gezahlt und ich denke, dass Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt und ich will nicht groß meckern. Das Frühstück kann ich nicht beurteilen, wir waren auswärts frühstücken. Da wir zum Glück Superwetter hatten und sowieso nur zum duschen und schlafen da waren, war es für mich echt ok und konnte damit leben. -Ich denke, es ist wirklich nur was für Leute, die nur kurz da bleiben wollen. Für einen längeren Zeitraum ist das Hotel leider ungeeignet.

One of the best Ibis experiences I've had in the Netherlands. The room was very large and the view from the balcony was quite nice. Breakfast has a lot of options. All of the people at the counter were really helpful both while I was staying there and when I had to use their locker room for my suitcase on the day after my check-out.

I love Novotel as a chain, and have stayed at this hotel before and was quite happy. This time I felt things were a little off and I wasn't as satisfied. I seem to recall getting a free bottle of water in the room, which it appears is not included anymore. No more individual shower gels and soaps, but now big pumps of soap, which is OK if you have the complete set of them. Yes, it's more environmentally friendly but it's also a sign of cost-cutting. Breakfast was more or less the same -- good choice and quality -- except on a busy weekend they seemed totally overwhelmed and people had to queue to get a table. On a quieter morning, I noticed a sign stating one can request omelettes and poached eggs from the kitchen, so I did, and this dish never materialized, which was a little awkward. The fresh orange juice machine is awful: constant noise and queues of people taking ages to each make one glass of juice, as it requires that the user slice the orange and then ram each half, one at a time, into the machine, yielding a tiny amount of juice. Repeat for 6 or 7 oranges to get a glass... It would be funny to watch as slapstick if it weren't so annoying to listen to. On the positive side, the rooms are still attractive, comfortable, and quiet.

Hotel heeft en doet wat het beloofd. Heerlijk gelegen. Dichterbij de boulevard -zee en shopping centre kan niet: zeer centraal. Prima ingang voor rolstoeler. Met een handbewogen rolstoel heb je direct erna een klein duwtje nodig om bij de balie te komen. Dit is geen probleem. Andere bezoekers vragen direct een handje te helpen. Uitermate vriendelijke ontvangst. Veilige bagagestalling bij eerder aankomst c.q. Vertrek dan in / uitchecken. Meerdere liften aanwezig. Nooit wachttijd. Mijn rolstoel met e-motion wielen pasten net door de deur van de lift. Als ook tussen muur badkamer en scheidingsmuur. De deur is te zwaar om alleen te openen, sluiten vanuit rolstoel. Maar ach.....een negatief punt ? Welnee. Hoevaak doe je dat alleen? Kamer zeer netjes. Kingsizebed met tv flatscreen aan voeteneind. Heerlijk schuifdeur naar balkon. Geen enkel geluid gehoord. Zeer rustig. Badkamer heeft alles wat t moet hebben. Wel is elke m2 hier benut. Ligbad toilet en mooi wastafel compartiment. Handdoekservice. 1 badhanddoek en 1 badlaken p.p. Had voor ons wel 1 meer per dag gemogen. Een welkom met kaart en lekkernijen. Het meest heerlijk waren de bedden. Daar ik overal. Ook thuis brak eruit kom. Was het een waar genoegen te ontwaken, zonder ‘s nachts meerdere keren wakker te zijn. Mij goed te voelen i.p.v. brak. Zodanig. Dit bed wil ik thuis ook. Wij hadden incl ontbijt. Prima ! Alles zeer netjes, lekker en genoeg. Wij hebben het buitengewoon fijn gehad ! Twijfelt u nog...Meer

Optisch sah erstmal alles schick aus. Die Sauberkeit allerdings hat deutlich Luft nach oben! Teilweise waren Besteck und Kochuntensilien zu Beginn verschmutzt (Noch mit alten Essensresten!!!) Außerdem wurde auch das Zimmer (Aufenthalt 6 Nächte) nicht einmal zwischengereinigt, obwohl dies in der Beschreibung stand. Die Küche war nur sehr spärlich ausgestattet, zum Beispiel keine Brotmesser. (Kann man bei dem Preis schon etwas besseres erwarten) Außerdem haben wir es versäumt, uns jedes mal einen Beleg geben zu lassen, somit konnte sich plötzlich die Mitarbeiterin am nächsten Tag nicht mehr daran erinnern, dass wir bereits unsere Mehrkosten bezahlt hatten. Also haben wir schön knapp 150 Euro doppelt bezahlen müssen. Das fanden wir schon extremst dreist... Positiv zu erwähnen ist, eine top Lage und die Ausstattung an sich, war schon in Ordnung.

Great hotel, nice employee, fantastic service, phenomenal experience. I stayed there with a friend for a week, each day we left the hotel at the morning/noon before 11 am. Afterwards we got a cleaned room with new bathtubs and also the kitchen was refilled. The personal was cool. Would like to stay a bit longer

We werden erg vriendelijk ontvangen. Ze wist ook leuke lunch/eetgelegenheden en leuke plekken waar je een heerlijke cocktail kon drinken. Super fijn! De kamer was ontzetten netjes en schoon. Mooi aangekleed. Badkamer was schoon. Airco deed het niet goed of eigelijk TE goed, het was fris op de kamer. Ze waren erg vriendelijk om het probleem op te lossen. Later kregen we nog een fles bubbels voor het ongemak. Had zeker niet gehoeven maar werd ontzettend gewaardeerd. Ontbijt was bij te bestellen. Dit was prima/goed. Niet al te uitgebreid maar meer dan genoeg! Ook leuke kroeg onder het hotel waar je tot laat nog gezellig kon aanzitten met vrienden. Absoluut een aanrader!!
