Hotel berhampiran Glacial Erratic Boulders, Helsinki

It was very pretty hotel and pretty room. You can drink for free, tea, cocoa or coffee in your room. Beds are amazing. And what is nice that Iso Omena is right next to hotel, you can walk there in 2 minutes and go shopping or something. Also swimming place and gym is next to hotel. Breakfast was delicious and restaurant waitress peoples are kind. And you can easily park a car in a hotel park hall.

This hotel is centrally located next to the Tapiola Keskusallas pool where people are riding SUP boards in summer and skating in winter. Nearly all rooms have a balcony. We booked a Superior King room from a sale for 114 euros. Our room was ready on arrival at 12:15. This time we got a room on the 2nd floor with a bigger balcony. The room decor needs some updating but everything worked. What has been a real change for the better is that Sokos hotels have finally stopped offering these hard-to-use small single packages of bath products. Now they have high-quality Lumene products from pump bottles. The breakfast was well organized and it was easy to find a table although the hotel was quite fully booked. While checking in, you will get a slot for the breakfast. We opted for the last slot at 9:45.

Great hotel, here is some thougts: Pros: - The hotel has spacious rooms and good beds. - It is very cheap, and with the free S-Etukortti you can get 25% off the price. - There is free coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the lobby. - Location near metro station, and there is mostly some offices, so the area is super quiet in weekends. - Check-in at 12.00 already. - Co-working area in lobby with some vending machines. Cons: - Not that much tourist attractions nearby -Breakfast not included

出差住，還不錯，價格適中。緊挨着阿爾特大學，安靜。衛生間小，床很軟，一樓餐廳可以吃早飯（11點結束）和晚飯（小貴），附近很多人開車來吃晚飯。酒店出門對麪就是一條河，早上可以跑步（俺是沒跑），停車免費，酒店旁邊200米還有一個超大停車場也可以免費停。可以去大學附近吃飯，也可以駕車10分鐘到Iso omena商場裡邊有兩家中餐館去吃，noodle story（麵餃子餛飩）更實惠味道超好吃。我們連吃了五天都沒膩。商場裏有好幾個大型超市可以買東西。

Superfresh and great hotel! Rooms were a bit small but you could put up the bed and create space. The Spa section as awesome, great saunas and a bar with nice vibe. Saturday night was a lot fun there. 10/10 - Recommended

hotel is situated in a quiet location with plenty of accessible supermarkets. It is not close to any tourist attractions but Kammpi and the city center is close if you take the train. Hotel staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. Generally, hotel is clean. The only problem I had was that shower in my room drains very slowly and water leaks outside the shower area.

Thank you to the staff of Holiday Inn Helsinki Expo for a pleasant stay, if I return to Helsinki anytime soon I definitely will return :) PROS of the hotel: + close to 1. the Mall of Tripla where you can buy just about anything, from groceries to clothes, to medication and flowers, plentiful of restaurants and bars 2. a convention centre 3. a train station 4. Linnanmaki + while it depends on one's definiton of close proximity, I dare say it's not as distant from the city centre as it seems on the map, therefore you don't have to take a train. there are two main routes to the city centre - if you walk along the seaside it will only take you about 30 minutes to reach the Forum mall + clean rooms + a wide variety of TV channels + quite tasty coffee and tea + understanding staff, didn't disturb us upon our kind request + comfortable beds, i would fall asleep right away CONS: - costly breakfast. you can get the same amount of food you would actually consume at the hotel breakfast in one of the nearby supermarkets for 1/10 of the price.

Staff was so friendly and helpful. Great location. Very close to the train station. Room was clean. Our booking included breakfast but our train was so early that it wasn’t open yet so they packed us something to take with us.
