We were a group of 4 family members having a 5 night stay in a 3 bedroom apartment. Bedrooms were of an ample size and there was a large bathroom however the ensuite was a tiny bit small. There was nowhere to place your toiletries other than 1 shelf above the basin. Not a deal breaker at all though. Beds were comfortable. Water was hot. Airconditioning in the living areas was more than sufficient and there was an extra unit in the main bedroom. The size of the lounge/dining/kitchen area was more than ample. Netflix was a bonus as was free Wi-Fi. Can highly recommend. Close to restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, bottle shops, etc. We will definitely stay again.

Hotel was clean and the rooms were large, giving enough room for two backpackers. The hotel staff were amazing at dealing with an issue with some guests next door and even came and found us again the next day to explain what had happened. The gym was fine to use for us too!

I stayed here with my partner and my youngest son for my birthday weekend. Hotel staff were beautiful and welcoming me with a gift basket gor my birthday. Amazing room and so comfy and clean. S bit noisy though. I would have expected thicker paned windows to block put noise however that was only draw back. I had the best birthday I'd had in yea rs...thanks sebel will definately be back

Lokasi sangat baik. Berjalan kaki singkat ke kedua-dua hujung Acland St dan makanan lewat petang tersedia di beberapa tempat. Bilik itu sangat bersih tetapi meja sisi katil memerlukan lap tambahan. Banyak pilihan teh dan kopi berkualiti yang ditawarkan. Bunyi trem pasti boleh didengari dari awal pagi tetapi jika anda mencari pengalaman bandar, ia hanya berada dalam dengung umum bunyi Melbourne bandar. Service was very good but overall experience I would rate it as mediocre. The location is very convenient. The room looks quite dated. When we entered the room, i killed 2 bugs and was very worried if they were bed bugs, so called room service and they came down to attend to us right away. However, the hotel facilities were not functioning very well. For instance, the touch screen lift was not working well. Many time we scanned our room cards, it doesn't detect our floors so we ended up missing our floor and went up or down with other guests. The bath tub with spa function was so loud when turned on, you could hear them by the bed outside the toilet. All the furnishing in the room and surrounding seems very outdated. The chairs on the breakfast tables were not looking very new and quite dirty with stains and dirts.

We didn’t look to the hotel for more than just a bed for the night, so didn’t check out the other facilities. The bed was comfortable, the shower was nice, and the room was set up in a modern and pleasant way. The room has most of what you need but it is very small, with very little space to even set down a suitcase. I would have preferred access to a full size ironing board rather than a desktop one.

Only stayed one night to work in quite and great for that. Apartment was spacious and had everything you need however it had an odd lay out . A coffee station near kitchen but mire in lounge then a weird desk that was used as a pots and oan cabinet closer to lounge as well . Huge amount of pots and pans but not ione knife. Just nit thought out from perspective if patron. Tga stret its situated on is amazing. The church opposite is special. Infact every building was old and architecturally beautiful.. great place to stay in autumn with the shedding leaves for effect.. it was quiet and was nice but decoecboring, drab, and oddly laud out. I like to feel a warmth and inviting energy when I enter a hotel this was just there to give you twhsy u need to stay away from home for a night in a 1 bedroom apartment in a picturesque street in stkilda....

Enjoy the bohemian history of this iconic St Kilda hotel. It's quirky and you might find the odd stubborn spot on the carpet but the Artwork is fabulous. I especially love Mirka Mora's Angelic faces on the walls downstairs. Bed was comfortable, and room was quiet. Tee at the front desk was incredibly helpful and accomodating. This is not a venue for the faint-hearted, stay if you like things shabby chic and have an aerobic curiosity.

My wife and I had a nice stay here a few weeks back. It is pretty centrally located and reasonably priced which are the redeeming features. The location and rooms definitely look nicer in the photos, the rooms whilst large and well appointed are very old and worn… dented fridges, damaged furniture, bedside lights that don’t work etc. it’s all perfectly liveable it’s just not what I expected from the photos. Staff were friendly but the place just needs some TLC. If you think this is a nicely restored boutique hotel you’ll be disappointed, but if you’re seeking conveniently located, reasonably priced accomodation with low expectations it will be perfectly suited.
