Inns di Dali

This was the perfect start to our first trip to China — the hotel was right beside erhai lake and the views from the hotel cafe and the rooms were fantastic. The rooms were very clean and facilities modern and good (particularly the hotel cafe which serves coffee (each guest can redeem 1x coffee and unlimited cornetto ice creams and snacks from the cafe). It is also a ~6 minute walk away from a family-run bicycle shop where tourists can rent a bike from (20 元 for a full day) (there are rent-as-you-go bikes along the area too but they require a Chinese ID card in order for you to book). The service was also excellent and all the staff were very attentive. Each time we returned to the hotel, the staff would greet us with an option to get a bowl of rice noodles (mi xian 米线） or chinese dessert, depending on what time we arrived. There were also free flow fruits (some small apple-like fruit and cherry tomatoes) in the hotel lobby that was stocked through the day. Fantastic stay. We will definitely return if we come back to the area. (We had entered another hotel further down the same stretch for a coffee and that other hotel’s coffee and cleanliness paled in comparison; made us very thankful that we had booked this hotel instead). 10/10!

The hotel offers a lot of services which add value to the stay experience. There were self-serve fresh coffee and a variety of herbs/ flower tea selection at the lobby, free laundry services, afternoon high tea and night dessert. We really appreciate passing our clothes which required laundry to the staff and return to collect freshly laundry clothes. The staff is reachable easily via WeChat. They also offer complimentary pick up from the train station. If I really have to pick on something - there is no view in the room I stayed in even though it was bright and spacious. Overall highly recommend a stay.

Rumah penginapan ini terletak hanya kira-kira 7 minit berjalan kaki ke bandar purba Dali dan tempat makan Muslim yang sempurna. Walaupun dia tidak boleh berbahasa Inggeris, dia menggunakan Wechat untuk berkomunikasi dengan kami. Dia juga menaik taraf bilik kecil kami di tingkat atas kepada yang besar di tingkat bawah kerana bagasi kami yang besar. Dia menyediakan buah-buahan dan kopi untuk sarapan pagi kami dan membungkus untuk kami semasa mendaftar keluar. We stayed at Lishe seaview resort hotel for 2 nights. The hotel upgraded us to a two-room apartment which I did not expect! The apartment had spectacular view of Erhai in the living room and master bedroom. I had the foresight of having one free and easy day and we pretty much stayed in most of the time to soak in the view. The staff service was amazing. The team reached out to me via trip.com the day before we check in (fantastic initiative) as overseas visitors like me are not familiar with the WeChat usage. When we arrive, the staff were on standby to receive us and bring us to the apartment as we got there via our own driver. The hotel sent nightly desert (white fungus) to our apartment. One important aspect of the hotel is the delicious and wide spread of breakfast. The breaky was on the highest floor offering great views of Erhai, and the lady attendant there was polite, cheerful and has great service. When we checked, the hotel staff came to the apartment and send us to the car. They also presented a farewell bag of goodies - including rose Chinese cakes (which were super delicious!), tea and sweets. It was an awfully thoughtful gesture. I had the rose Chinese cake during breaky and loved them. So I was super happy to find them in the farewell gift. I would strongly recommend a stay here if you are in Dali. Fellow Singaporeans- you would love this place! I think even if I did not get the upgrade, I would have loved the view too. Just keep one day of doing nothing and enjoy the beautiful view and the hotel hospitality. The hotel staff were service oriented, always smiling, polite and helpful. I mean every staff we encountered, even the cleaning staff! This hotel was a great highlight of our Dali stay. I would definitely come back to stay at Lishe when next back to Dali.

This hotel truly deserves its high ratings. The scenic view from the room was spectacular. A minor note for future guests: the final access lane is a bit narrow, so some Didi drivers may drop you at the entrance—it's just a short, easy 2 minutes walk from there. This small detail is far outweighed by the exceptionally attentive service. The hotel provides complimentary nighttime warm milk (8-10 PM) and a lovely take homegift of local flower biscuits. To top it all off, they kindly upgraded my room for free. A wonderful stay thanks to a team that goes above and beyond.

We had the pleasure of staying at Erhai Xinglai Lakeview Inn in picturesque Dali, and our experience was nothing short of magical. From the moment we booked, the staff demonstrated exceptional hospitality, calling us to arrange for complimentary pickup from the airport. Important tip: Dali's cobblestone streets can be challenging for luggage, so be sure to call the hotel in advance to arrange for their free pickup service. Upon arrival, we were treated to a delightful tea break, complete with fresh fruits and fragrant rose tea. Witnessing the chef meticulously prepare the fruit platter for 30 minutes was a testament to the hotel's attention to detail and commitment to excellence. It's clear that every aspect of our stay was crafted with love. The hotel offers thoughtful amenities, including: - Photography package for capturing memories - Nighttime milk service, delivering warm milk to your doorstep before bed - Cozy library with an impressive selection of adult fiction, non-fiction, and children's books Near the hotel, there are live singing performances in the evenings, featuring talented vocalists performing ********* and Chinese classics (we enjoyed listening from the comfort of our room!) The staff's warm hospitality, combined with the hotel's charming ambiance and thoughtful touches, made our stay in Dali truly unforgettable. We highly recommend Erhai Xinglai to anyone seeking a tranquil retreat in this beautiful town.

Love the hotel as it's near the ancient town.Walking distance to all the scenic spots. Breakfast was good.

A 10 star experience From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the two Mo sisters and their adorable feline companions, Pirate (the black cat) and Sweet Tooth (the brown one). Everything about this stay—from the location and decor to the impeccable cleanliness and service—deserves 10 stars. The Mo sisters are incredibly friendly, chatty, and helpful, making the entire place feel like a beautifully maintained, quaint home. A few highlights: Thoughtful Details: The beds come equipped with heating pads for colder nights, which was such a nice touch. Amenities: I absolutely loved the peaceful courtyard and the rooftop area. Service: They are very attentive; for instance, if you need brighter reading lights, you just have to ask. The Atmosphere: The garden is lovingly cared for and adds so much to the vibe. Even as a dedicated dog lover, I have to admit that Pirate and Sweet Tooth completely won me over. If you are looking for a stay with character and heart, this is it!

坐落在洱海旁雙廊古鎮的美麗酒店，地理位置讓我驚喜，酒店坐落玉幾島🥰躺在露台的躺椅上即可享受洱海的波光粼粼，近在咫尺的寧靜。老闆非常熱心熱情，酒店中也處處是精心設計的花園小景，還有可以拍照的天台！美麗景色，七彩雲南！感謝管家的熱心服務！這是我第一次在攜程評價，真心覺得這家酒店不錯！大理古城逛完感受平平，這家酒店留下深刻印象

We rented the Garden Deluxe Room, with a mountain view. We find the description and pictures were accurately advertised, and the service was impeccable. We were very pleased with our rental, as it was private, clean and orderly. The hotel is conveniently located within the Dali Ancient Town, close to Biai Road and Renmin Road intersection (see picture of map). The morning and night views from the terrace were stunning. The Dali Ancient Town is as lively as you would imagine, with tons of food and shopping options. Our experience in Dali was awesome, with it's majestic mountains, beautiful lake, vibrant towns and peaceful villages. However, the best part of this stay was our interactions with the hotel owners, who are a lovely couple. They are good people - very kind, helpful and approachable. Although we had to use an English to Mandarin translation app for most of our conversations, they were patient and made recommendations that we really enjoyed. They helped us book a tour of Erhai Lake and we had a wonderful time sightseeing with the bus tour company (highly recommended if you don't know where to start exploring). We also took their scooter bike to explore the Three Pagodas on our own and drove around the lake afterwards. Please consider renting their scooter bike, as it was super fun and the price is very affordable. As language is a barrier for us, they not only helped us book our ride to Lijiang, but they also gave us a hotel recommendation, which their son runs. To us, they are very trustworthy, so we're sure we will have another pleasant stay in Lijiang. After all, it's not how clean the hotel is, or how beautiful the surroundings are, it's the people we meet along the way that makes it a wonderul trip experience. If there is another hotel rating for overall hotel experience, it would be a 10/5 for us. The owners definitely made our short stay very comfortable and our adventures amazing - thank you so much! We would definitely come back to this hotel if we are in this area again!
