"Выбирали отель недалеко от вокзала, чтобы удобно было ретироваться пешком (до него буквально метров 500) – в Улан-Баторе нешуточные пробки. Завтрак специфический, но найти, что покушать вполне можно. В соседней двери от отеля находится круглосуточный продуктовый корейской сети CU. Номер соответствовал заявленому. Есть проблема с розетками – их буквально на весь номер две (при чем одна из них в ванной). Зато умный унитаз!"

"Заехали уже ночью. На ресепшен сотрудник понимает русский. Помогли донести багаж 2 чемодана до 2го этажа. Но было холодно. В номере был обогреватель. Потом ночью уже комната прогрелась. Вода еле теплая. Чистота не особо. На кровати были найдены волосы чьи-то. Пришлось стелить еще вторую простынь сверху. В целом на одну ночь сойдет."

"Hotel manager was a lovely guy and receptive to requests. knowing thefts are common in Ulaanbaatar he personally minded my motorbike overnight, which was locked in the carpark outside. Apartment was spacious, clean and air was well controlled. Some amenities were missing: shower curtain was missing so I had a bath and wash with the showerhead detached. Couch was unusually hard. Some PowerPoints didn't seem to work with my two-pin style adaptor. Basic hotel supplies e.g. soap, toothbrush, razor and hair drier were all supplied with much thanks. Location was close to the airport which was what I needed at the time. There are department store nearby with amenities but they close at usual business hours. Not many late night services available nearby, only a handful of restaurants. Overall a comfortable stay with thanks to the manager."

"The hotel facilities are very dated. The toilet in our room was leaking. The issue couldn't be fixed and they issued us another room. Sound on the TV was not working in both the rooms. We frequently called reception for these issues. The toilets are also dated with bathtub and shower curtain. There were some stains and wear and tear. The hey days of this hotel are about 15 years past. Sockets are also the 2 pin instead the the newer multi-plug sockets. On a good note, the beds were comfortable, towels clean and the room spacious enough. The hotel is also next to a huge e-mart to buy groceries and food."

"Central location, 15 mins walk can reach the main square and Shangri-la shopping mall. Price good. 2 restaurants inside hotel. Room spotless clean, spacious, well equipped. But pre-ordering of taxi to airport is not available and staff can only call on the spot when transport service needed (uber like apps in Mongolia is not user friendly). Please note that the ride between airport and city centre (where this hotel is located) can take 1.5 hr long as there's serious traffic jam around the city centre."

No Tourist Hassle, Just Pure Heartfelt Mongolian Hospitality and Amazing Comfort❤️ Our three-night stay at Hunnu Tourist Camp completely exceeded our expectations. It offers insane value for money and is the ultimate choice if you want to escape overcrowded commercial traps and experience the true harmony of Mongolian nature and genuine human connection. Pure Hospitality with Zero Hassle (Our Deepest Impression): The best part about this camp is the vibe. The hosts give you complete peace and space—there is absolutely none of the aggressive upselling or tourist hassle you often find elsewhere. They might seem quiet, but they are deeply attentive, showing their warmth through thoughtful actions rather than loud words. July Summer Comfort & Cozy Bedding: We visited in early July. Even though the daytime temperature reached 30°C outside, the inside of the ger remained surprisingly cool, airy, and refreshed without any air conditioning. However, summer nights on the steppe can plunge to single digits. To our delight, the beds were equipped with electric blankets, and the hosts even proactively brought us an electric heater because they were worried we might get cold. We slept incredibly warm and soundly! Wonderful Included Breakfast & Great Dining Options: Complimentary Breakfast: A delicious buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. It was a wonderful surprise to have a varied spread of fresh vegetables, meat, fruits, and boiled eggs on the steppe, along with comforting Korean seaweed soup and traditional Mongolian hot broth. Dinner Recommendation (Khorkhog): We highly recommend pre-ordering the traditional Mongolian stone-roasted meat (Khorkhog). It takes about 2 hours to prepare, so we usually ordered it during breakfast for our dinner. The portions are huge and come with a great variety of side dishes. Paid À La Carte Options: For other meals, the restaurant offers an excellent and affordable daily menu of Mongolian and Korean dishes that are freshly made to order. We loved the Kimchi tofu soup with rice, stir-fried spicy pork belly, handmade mutton fried noodles (Tsuivan), and crispy Khuushuur. Everything was satisfying and very well-priced! The Sweetest Check-out Gesture: On our final day, we had to catch a chartered car back to Ulaanbaatar Airport (UBN) at 7:00 AM, long before breakfast hours. We went to say goodbye to the host the night before and mentioned we would leave our ger door open upon departure. Hearing this, the host immediately went to pack a breakfast box for us for the next morning, filled with boiled eggs, fresh cucumbers, and mandarins. Receiving this thoughtful, handmade meal in the chilling steppe air deeply moved and healed us. Facilities & Activities: Shared bathrooms were kept spotless with abundant hot water. The surrounding nature is stunning for hiking, featuring lush meadow wetlands, unique gully erosion, and roaming livestock. You can even spot the Genghis Khan Statue Complex in the distance. The camp has its own stables where you can pay to ride horses directly to the Tuul River. They even provide traditional Mongolian costumes (Deel) in the lobby for guests to try on for free. Final Thoughts on Mongolian Culture: Throughout this journey, I deeply felt the spirit of the Mongolian nomads, who have coexisted alongside horses, sheep, wolves, and harsh blizzards for thousands of years. They hold a profound reverence for nature, viewing humans and animals not in a hierarchy, but as equal living beings nurtured by the same earth. This dignified, grounded, and unpretentious attitude is worlds apart from modern commercial societies, and it is precisely what made this journey so rare and precious to us. A perfect 10/10!

The Ultimate Host: The biggest highlight of our stay was the resort owner, who is incredibly friendly, accommodating, and speaks fluent English. Having a host you can communicate with easily in the wilderness is a game-changer. There is absolutely no need to join a rigid group tour; the owner quickly arranged a private driver for us (at our own expense) to visit nearby attractions like Turtle Rock and the Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex. It allowed us to customize our own itinerary and enjoy total freedom. The Vibe & Accommodation: The resort is beautifully designed with a sleek, modern wooden main building. We stayed in a Duplex Dome, which offered incredible space and a skylight for stargazing. The biggest luxury was the private, clean bathroom with excellent hot water and separate wet/dry areas—a rare find that completely redefines the typical Mongolian camping experience! The resort sits in a peaceful valley surrounded by majestic rock formations and roaming horses, giving it a dreamy, ”Little Switzerland” feel. Top-Notch Amenities (All Free!): Unlike other remote camps, this place keeps you entertained. Inside the main building, there is a designated Ping Pong room, a billiards table, and Karaoke rooms—all completely free to use! Outside, they have basketball court, volleyball court, a colorful children's playground, and BBQ pits. Incredible Food: The dining here blew us away. The included breakfast was fresh and relaxing. However, I highly recommend ordering their ala carte dinner. They serve a fantastic mix of Western and traditional Mongolian dishes. We ordered the grilled meat skewers with fries, a massive chicken Caesar salad, a comforting hot vegetable and meat stew, and traditional Mongolian Huushuur (deep-fried meat pastries) and Buuz (steamed dumplings). Everything was incredibly flavorful and hearty! Horseback Riding Nearby: There is a professional horse ranch run by a neighbor just 100 meters away. It costs 30,000 MNT per hour, which is very reasonable. Tip: If it's your first time riding, I highly recommend hiring a coach to guide you for safety. Verdict: 10/10. An unforgettable stay with amazing hospitality. I would come back in a heartbeat!

The location is excellent—right in the city center and within walking distance of the main attractions, restaurants, shops, and public transport. The hostel was cleaned daily, which made the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The internet connection worked well throughout my stay, and having access to Netflix was a nice bonus for relaxing in the evenings. The owners were very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. There is also a balcony where smoking is allowed, which may be convenient for some guests. A small tip for coffee lovers: if you plan to brew your own coffee, make sure to bring or buy coffee machine filters. Oh, I loved their universal power outlet sockets that fit all plugs 2/3, flat/round, USB, C-something (I can’t recall the name) etc… The only improvement I would suggest is replacing the plastic plates and mugs with ceramic or glass ones, as they would make the experience feel even nicer. Overall, this hostel offers great value for money, a convenient location, and a comfortable atmosphere. I don't think I'll be looking for any other place to stay anytime soon whenever I'm back in Ulaanbaatar.

There are many selections of breakfast, staff were very responsive to any needs and questions I had, location is great close to convenience stores and Gobi store and other stores. Taking a taxi is not easy in Mongolia, but staff can call it for you. Also they have a good restaurant called Grill in the building with live music on at night maybe around 9/10pm, it was great experience overall.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel has a great location. Using the UBcab app, a taxi costs about two or three US dollars to get to the city center. The hotel is located on the 11th to 13th floors, with a shopping mall and two floors of restaurants downstairs. However, most restaurants close around 7 PM, so you'll need to go to nearby restaurants. Although the room is right next to the train tracks, there's no noise from midnight until 6 or 7 AM. Trains don't run frequently outside of these hours, so I, who's sensitive to noise, didn't need the earplugs provided by the hotel. We booked a quad room, which was spacious and beautifully decorated. The two single beds were located in a dead corner of the room, and the comforter was too thick, so the air conditioning wasn't working properly, making it a bit warm! We saw two insects, which was a bit surprising! The air conditioner malfunctioned for two consecutive nights. On the first night, the staff arrived and contacted someone else, and it was back to normal after about ten minutes. On the second night, the air conditioner stopped working again (the screen didn't display the temperature), but it suddenly returned to normal after about ten minutes. I called the staff online, but it suddenly returned to normal. I hope the hotel addresses this issue! We rented for four days and three nights. The room was serviced on the second day, but not on the third. The young male receptionist at the front desk spoke good English and was very polite. He deserves our praise!

It’s a very standard global standard hotel and not doesnt differ from anywhere else so it is very nice. PPengguna TetamuDON’T BE TRICKED LIKE I WAS The listing says it is a 6 minute drive from Chinggis Khan airport, but it in fact is a 30 minute drive. It is very close to the OLD airport which is not in use anymore. They offer free airport pickup, but we stayed the night before our flight so we did not need pickup, we needed drop off. Even though we didn’t use the free pickup service, we still had to pay $25 USD for airport dropoff. I had emailed the property twice during the week leading up to our stay to ask about drop off service and never got a reply. Also, there is a lack of communication between the staff- When we arrived at the property we had to call 3 times before they finally came to meet us to get our bags, then there was confusion about what room we were supposed to get and we were taken to 3 different rooms before it was the right one. The second one we had already settled in and had a shower before they came and told us it was the wrong room. We didn’t have a car so we walked around the area to find food and there were little to no restaurants, and only a couple of very small markets, so we ended up having to order food from the property restaurant. Every room is different as we discovered from being taken to 3 different rooms. They are verrrry spacious but some are definitely in better condition than others. Fortunately our final room was the best, however there was a kitchen stocked with pots, pans, rice cooker, cook top, plates, but no silverware, no microwave, and no refrigerator. Why would you have a kitchen area and not have a refrigerator and silverware? There also was a washer in unit but no dryer. We didn’t have time to wait for our clothes to air dry during our one night stay so that was also useless. Overall, it was a cheap stay but you get what you pay for.
