PPengguna TetamuI had a very pleasant stay at this hostel. The location is excellent—right in the city center and within walking distance of the main attractions, restaurants, shops, and public transport.
The hostel was cleaned daily, which made the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The internet connection worked well throughout my stay, and having access to Netflix was a nice bonus for relaxing in the evenings.
The owners were very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. There is also a balcony where smoking is allowed, which may be convenient for some guests.
A small tip for coffee lovers: if you plan to brew your own coffee, make sure to bring or buy coffee machine filters.
Oh, I loved their universal power outlet sockets that fit all plugs 2/3, flat/round, USB, C-something (I can’t recall the name) etc…
The only improvement I would suggest is replacing the plastic plates and mugs with ceramic or glass ones, as they would make the experience feel even nicer.
Overall, this hostel offers great value for money, a convenient location, and a comfortable atmosphere.
I don't think I'll be looking for any other place to stay anytime soon whenever I'm back in Ulaanbaatar.

PPengguna Tetamu700km from Inner Mongolia to Ulaanbaatar, it takes a long time by car. I arrived at the hotel at 24pm. The boss waited for me for 5 hours. The room is very new and clean. The Mongolian people are really hospitable. We Chinese and Mongolians are brothers. We hope that people who want to come to Mongolia will bring friendship to promote the friendship between the two countries
从内蒙古到乌兰巴托700公里，坐车需要很久，晚上24点才到旅店，老板等了我5个小时，房间很新，打扫的很干净，蒙古人的性格确实热情好客，我们中国人和蒙古人是兄弟民族，希望想来蒙古国的人带着友善过来，促进两国之间的友谊

LlilsheepAurora Hotel is a relatively new hotel in Ulaanbaatar, located along Peace Avenue in the western part of UB City. It is about 15mins walk to an Emart and it is also pretty easy to book a taxi/cab using UBcab mobile app to get around as visitors.
I highly recommend Aurora Hotel for short visits to Ulaanbaatar, despite it's non-central location. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean. Breakfast had a decent variety and quality. Khulan Restaurant on the 2nd floor also serves good Mongolian cuisine.
The front desk and restaurant staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were served breakfast in our room during the Tsagaan Sar festival and it was a generous portion.
Unfortunately during our visit, the gym and sauna were closed and we weren't able to use them.

DDAnsteyI stayed there with my toddler. This was our second visit, as we chose it for a staycation escape from the long winter. The rooms did not have air purifiers or humidifiers, which made the air extremely dry. Both my child and I experienced constant static in our hair throughout our stay. We also suffered from dry nasal congestion, including blood streaks in the mucus. Another factor that may have contributed to the dryness was the carpeting. The carpets did not appear clean, as winter snow and mud had left visible footprints.

SSofia_PoeThe second stay here wasn't as smooth as the first time. When i arrived, there was no electricity, which meant i had to go up and down to ask someone to help me open the door every time i left the room. Also, even though i booked a massage session at 8:30 pm to spend some time in the sauna beforehand, i was reminded about the massage and pushed to have it starting from 8 pm. Couldn't really relax.
As i was missing breakfast due to the morning flight, I was given a bento box - a sandwich, small bottle of water and a snack. Maybe a fruit and a yogurt on top of that would be better.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaThis hotel is located in an office building, occupying several floors. There's a convenience store and a coffee shop on the ground floor.
Check-in was brilliant! The first at reception spoke some English and checked me in at 7.30 in the morning without a problem. My room was spacious, the bed was large, although on the hard side. At this point the good things about the hotel come to an end.
Unfortunately, all the rest is quite bad. The lighting system is broken and you can't turn off the light above the bed unless you take out the key card, but then power outlets go off, so you can't sleep and charge your phone at the same time. Furniture knobs are falling apart, so does the knob on the shower. WiFi was down 2 times during my stay, including a very frustrating 12+ hour outage. Housekeeping doesn't seem to know what a Do Not Disturb sign means, entering the room regardless. Toiletries are the cheapest possible, not corresponding to the hotel name (e.g. Premium), lol.
All in all, price/quality ratio was underwhelming. I will not stay here again.

PPengguna TetamuFriendly welcome. Ulaanbaatar is a horror when it comes to traffic and getting here from airport took three hours! No fault of the hotel—which was clean, central and gave a warm welcome. There is no elevator but only two floors. Room was spacious and clean—nothing fancy but obviously newly renovated. Bed was very comfortable. Had a nice little balcony. Breakfast was rather simple and basic. Very near Shangrila Mall. Overall a good choice for the price.

OOng L KThis location of this hotel is quite strategic considering the number of restaurant, pubs and food outlets nearby provided you are willing to do some walking.. Hotel room is clean and service is commendable. I wish to highlight one particular front reception staff for special mention.Her name is
ERDENEKHISHIG. She was kind & helpful and would go out of her way to provide service and assistance like calling a cab on our behalf. However this hotel also has her shortcomings. Breakfast is too basic and monotonous. Bread which is the most universal item is not available. Also check out time at 10am is ridiculously early. It also puzzles me that this hotel still provide smoking rooms which is totally umnecessary as the current trend is towards non smoking rooms for the whole hotel. I hope my positive feedback will help your hotel to upgrade her image further.

PPengguna TetamuI stayed at Eagle Town a second time on my way home from Mongolia, and even though I arrived late, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, especially the guy at the front desk whose name I didn't catch. He got me a ride to the airport the day after, and -- although this was a misunderstanding -- had prepared the room specially to house four people (I was traveling alone, but Trip.com had made it look like there were four of us).
The rooms are nice, with very comfortable beds, perfect after having been in the countryside for a week. The location is rather close to Chinggis Khan Airport, or at least as close as you're likely to get for now, and there are plenty of grocery stores and convenience stores in the area. I didn't have any use for the kitchen, but it seemed to be supplied with at least some basics for people who want to cook themselves.
