Located in an area close to many restaurants and shops. Lively and vibrant area with lots of young people from the nearby university, which gives it a nice vibe. Very close to the Kunming South Railway Station. Leakage from the sink and no shower curtain, which made the bathroom floor very wet. Clean room, but it was not cleaned daily.

Check-in on the 7th floor, the room on the 22nd floor. The building itself is rather run-down and not pleasant. We booked a non-smoking room, but the room had obviously been smoked in (smelly). The shower was super low to the ground and the water pressure was very limited - not nice.

It is so close to the train station 10min by taxi and it has loads of food and drink options. It is ok for a night stay close to the train station if you are not very picky. It was on the 7 th floor of a building, so a bit troublesome to find if you don't speak Chinese.

Having a wonderful time to stay at this hotel due to clean and tidy room, I enjoy chinese food around the hotel. Most important thing is that the location is very near and easy to access to the Kunming South railway station. Furthermore, the receptionist is very friendly and helpful, and can speak English very. If I have time to travel around Kunming south, I will stay at this hotel again.

It is close to the South Railway Station (Kunmingnan) and is located in a very nice area for food! We enjoyed a great variety of restaurants, it made our stay very special. The room is nice, beds are clean, wifi is working well and the receptionist is very friendly and speaks english! Also it has a nice view!

Extra long bath towels, rain shower head, full separate bottles for body wash & shampoo, induction stove, filtered faucet drinking water, spacious rooms, patio, generous maids, fridge, chandelier, in-unit vending machine, and some even have washer !!!

Stayed here for a quick overnight stay before departing to Li Jiang the next day. Room is value for money, suitable for 4 pax and is nearby many eateries and restaurants. Location is 40mins from main railway station - there were 2 railway stations with the same name so please check. Room hygiene is acceptable, wasn’t perfect but not bad either. Some facilities like toilet door knob is broken. Service is okay.

I had an excellent stay at Wheat Smart Hotel during a short layover in Kunming. It is conveniently located near Kunming South Railway Station, and the room facilities went above and beyond what I expected - there was a washing machine in my room. Crush (the receptionist) was very friendly, spoke good English and helped me with all my requests while staying there. Thanks guys!

The room is large, the toilet is average, and it's close to the subway. There are a bunch of snack stalls downstairs, which is OK. It's cost-effective and suitable for traveling with friends.

You know what I saw in a 100-yuan hotel? Air conditioning, refrigerator, color TV, washing machine, and even a microwave oven. The quilt cover was very clean, and the mattress was moderately soft and hard. The hotel is located on a very lively and entertaining street. The snack stalls across the road formed a long line. Because it is very close to Yunnan Normal University, many students from Yunnan Normal University gathered around the snack stalls to buy food, so it was very convenient to eat something. Of course, there are pros and cons. At three or four o'clock in the morning, there are still people singing in the distance, which is not very friendly to people with light sleep.

The worst stay ever. The bathroom didn't even have a door, it was so small that I couldn't even turn around. The message I sent was not clear at all, and I couldn't understand it. When I called, no one answered or the call was busy, so I had to take a taxi. Don't be greedy, I'm afraid of staying in such a hotel once. The plug for boiling water was broken, and I didn't even dare to boil water.
