I had a pleasant stay at Pinnacle Lumpini Park Hotel in Bangkok. The location is very convenient, close to Lumpini Park, public transportation, and plenty of nearby restaurants and convenience stores. It’s a great spot if you want easy access to the city while still having a quiet place to rest.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a short stay. Housekeeping did a good job, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and relaxing.
The staff were polite, helpful, and accommodating throughout my stay, which made the experience even better. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free.
Overall, Pinnacle Lumpini Park Hotel offers good value for money and is a solid choice for travelers looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Bangkok. I would consider staying here again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5 – Fine, but very dated and VERY noisy
I stayed at The Quarter Saladaeng and I’d rate it about a 3-star experience overall. The biggest issue is the noise — the doors and walls are paper thin. You can hear full conversations in the hallway, and I was woken up after 3am by loud talking and doors slamming. I ended up having to call the front desk.
The room itself was just average, and the hotel feels very old. Small things made it feel outdated too, like there being no bedside switches to turn off the lights. The furniture was also worn down — some of it looked torn, dirty, and overdue for replacement.
Breakfast was okay, nothing special. They also offer a “green program” where you get a free drink if you don’t request fresh towels/linens — but it’s not alcoholic, so don’t get too excited. Mine was basically a watermelon smoothie made of ice and watermelon… so, yeah.
Overall: decent location, but the noise and the worn-out rooms really take away from the stay.

It was a pleasant stay. The location is perfect, close to everything with private parking. The room is super spacious for this price and location. There's also 7-11 right around the corner. The only complaint is that the carpet in the main bedroom is quite smelly, but the rest is all good.
It's rated 9 for me, bu if the carpet could be cleaned well, I'll give it 10!!

The hotel has great amenities and services provided at very good Central location. Room was impeccable, that bed was very comfortable and room was spacious. The hotel provide a massage with onsen and also has a 711 located at the ground floor. Kids club and the pool was very well loved by the Kids! I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and polite, but unfortunately, everything else was a bad experience.
On the first day, I was assigned room 706. The bed was extremely soft and felt like the springs had collapsed. When I informed the staff, I was told there were no other rooms available.
On the second day, a different staff member kindly helped to change my room to 307. However, it was located right next to the staircase, and there was a strong sewage smell as soon as I opened the door. It was very unpleasant.
On the fourth day, after housekeeping cleaned the room, they left the window open and didn’t close it. As a result, I was bitten by mosquitoes during the night, and even worse, I experienced what seemed like bed bug bites. My whole body became very itchy with multiple bites.
Although the hotel is conveniently located near the BTS, the overall condition is old and outdated, and cleanliness is not up to standard.
Overall, this was a very uncomfortable and disappointing stay. I would not recommend it.

Smooth check-in & front desk service. Staff were always friendly & helpful.
Room is spacious enough for use (especially if you don’t intend to spend too much time in room). Ibis Sathorn is roomier than other Ibis properties with enough storage space. Bathroom is on the smaller side.
Location is great, but too far to walk to train station especially on a hot day. It is not located on the main road. Great amenities around the area - well-stocked 7-11 across, good restaurants around the area.
TIP: When staying here, order your Grab ride earlier as drivers take some time to come in due to location.

I didn’t really enjoy my stay,the only thing I loved about this hotel was the location,it was very close to everywhere and that was convenient….
The bathtub was old and I couldn’t even use it,the hotel room smelt funny,the curtain was torn and looked old,it was very spacious tho,but that’s all ….
The food was great,very nice food,the bed was comfortable but honestly I didnt like the hotel …
I called the reception and it took a while for them to respond or even grant my request…

Added another room for my siblings. We booked this hotel based on recommendations from others.
We have elderly with us so walking to and fro hotel - bts can be challenging for them.
The hotel provided free tuk tuk service to bts.
We used it once but since traffic was bad during peak hours, tuk tuk was still slower than walking.
Close to central world. Just walk from the BTS.
Breakfast - thumbs up.

BKK traffic will still end up eating your time to the airport and to the city center.
Btw i missed my flight bec the estimated 25 min drive to the airport turned out to be closer to 40 mins. I had to book a new ticket back home 💸 so i decided to stay at a hotel that is legit right by the airport. Book hotels with free airport transfers.
That said, i enjoyed my stay here, the room is sufficient, breakfast was great. Loved their moussaka

The river view is amazing I look forward to seeing the fireworks on the river every time. The staff are friendly and accomodating and there are more than enough bathrooms and showers for everybody here. I don't have anything to complain about, I like it a lot here

CCurt 常鹰We saved this hotel until last – slightly fancier than the other 3 in our time in Thailand – as a little final night trip, and unfortunately, it was the most disappointing of the lot. The price, by global standards, might not be eye-watering. But by Thailand prices, it was certainly higher end, at over 800rmb per night with a ~450 (2000bht) deposit upon arrival. It did not meet those standards, I'm afraid to say.
First things first, it should be said that it is fairly easy to get to on the MTR system, just a very short walk from Hwai Khwang, though it should be pointed out that when using Trip to find the location of Google Maps, I was given the wrong spot (further down the road, so actually a nice surprise to see it was closer, and I wont hold this against the hotel as it is likely nothing to do with them.)
Serve at check-in was good, bags carried up the stairs for us and taken to the room with the porter stood waiting as we arrived. Check-in staff were as friendly as one would expect at a Marriott-run hotel of this quality, & though I was slightly surprised by the price of the deposit it was ultimately fine.
We had booked a deluxe room with a double bed, and were told that since there was none available (?), we'd be upgraded to a Premier. Looking at the app since, I'm struggling to see where they differ. The decor in the Premier is perhaps a bit more modern, but they are the same size with the same bathroom (more on that later), and the lower price-point is on a much higher floor (ergo better view, I'd assume). In truth, had I paid for a Premier & been greeted with our room, I'd have been even more disappointed.
The room was fine, but I'm not sure much more than that. A decent size, though by no means surprisingly big. It was at least quite airy, and the bed pretty comfortable, though seriously lacking in plug sockets. I find it rare to see a hotel these days without plug sockets on both sides of the bed, especially a hotel at this price point. It meant that only one phone could be charged nearby, the other on the table on the other side of the room.
The bathroom, though, was really, really disappointing (& that's putting it lightly). The bathtub might have been a nice touch, had it not quite clearly had dried on blood stains in it. I've never experienced this in any hotel I've ever stayed at, no matter how cheap. Let alone at one double the price of anywhere else we stayed in Bangkok and Thailand! The sink, too, was clearly scratched up dirty, with two clear globs of dried on mucus. No face washing in there for us. Fortunate perhaps, given the number of towels provided too was pretty light. The bin in the bathroom also came with no bin bag. I'd hope that the inside is therefore cleaned regularly, but given what we'd seen before, I wasn't filled with hope.
Elswhere, breakfast was generally of expected quality. Nothing to write home about per se, but a very nice dining area and good service in fairness. The coffee was decent, though again by no means hugely memorable. The swimming pool is a highlight, offering great views across the city (indeed, the view from our room was quite nice too – though can't help thinking it would be better from a higher floor, like in the cheaper rooms!), with ample comfy beds and free towels. It might be a bit small in peak season, but there were only 3 other groups sharing with us, so plenty of space for a swim.
We also enjoyed the massage (850bht). The price was not included in the room fee, but I thought 850 seemed a decent price for the quality and the convenience.
Each of these things could be the most memorable part of the trip, were we not greeted by the dirtiest bathroom I've ever experienced in a hotel. & that's a real pity, because it was so avoidable too! Especially from a Marriott hotel, I'd really expect better.

SserenalimxlWonderful surprise to be welcomed with cake and a room upgrade with spectacular city views as it was our anniversary. Hotel is a little dated but clean. Free shuttle boat service to Sathorn Pier of which you can easily transfer to Icon Siam. Walking distance to Asiatique which was surprisingly bustling even at 10pm.

PPengguna TetamuI spent 17 nights at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with my choice for a remote work and vacation stay. The room has a spacious desk where I could work comfortably, and the internet speed was consistently fast. The bed was also very comfortable. I had no trouble falling asleep at all. I’d say it’s on par with the bed at Parkroyal Collection Pickering in Singapore. The room was clean and a decent size, and the shower had strong water pressure. Locationwise, it’s about a 20-minute walk to Sala Daeng BTS or Lumphini MRT. While it may not be very close to public transport for some, one of the best things about the location is that it’s surrounded by many great restaurants to suit different budgets. In fact, the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had is just a five-minute walk from the hotel.Special thanks to Mr. Kelly from the reception team for providing exceptional service and helping me with any issues during my stay.

EExpat EDventuresWe had a very pleasant stay at Somerset Sukhumvit 71 Bangkok. Check-in was easy and smooth with welcome infused water, and the on-site café was excellent, with delicious breakfast pastries. The beds were firm and clean, the room was comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning and making our beds daily. We also appreciated that both of our rooms were booked next to each other, which made travelling as a family much easier. Our fourteen-year-old’s bed was already made up upon arrival, which was a thoughtful touch.
John, the concierge, was outstanding. He managed to book a same-day bike tour for our family of six and also kindly arranged our airport transfer. His service truly stood out and made our stay even better.
Our only disappointment was New Year’s Eve. We had planned to ring in the new year at the rooftop venue, but it was fully booked. I had messaged the hotel in advance through the Trip app but didn’t receive a response. Instead, we followed a restaurant recommendation from the front desk, only to arrive 56 minutes before closing and be told the kitchen was already closed. Two other nearby restaurants were also closed, so we ended up grabbing snacks from the 7-Eleven across the street. The hotel kindly unlocked our balcony so we could at least watch the fireworks from our room.
The rooftop restaurant is beautiful, and the pool area is also very nice, although the water was quite cold, so we didn’t swim. The location is a bit far out, but overall, we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it and booked a third night. A great hotel with excellent service, especially from the concierge, and we would happily stay again.

Cons
The rooms are very outdated. Furniture, walls, corners, and the bathroom show visible wear and damage. The rooms clearly need renovation.
The photos on the listing do not reflect the current condition of the rooms. They look much newer than they actually are.
A stove was listed as an amenity, but in reality it was not usable — it was covered with a fixed wooden panel and could not be opened.
There is no tea or coffee in the room, despite a coffee machine being shown in the photos. Tea is available at the reception during daytime only.
The air conditioner is very noisy. It is controlled via a wall panel (no remote control) with limited settings, and even on the lowest mode the noise is noticeable.
There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom, so steam stays in the room after showering unless the door is opened.
The TV offers only Thai channels. There is no Smart TV and no option to connect a phone.
The kitchen area has a sink, cabinets, and basic dishes, but it is not functional due to the lack of a stove.
Despite cleaning, the room looks visually worn because of the overall condition of the walls and ceiling.
Pros
The bed is comfortable, with two pillows per person.
Clean bed linen.
The bathroom was clean, with good water pressure.
The room includes a new hairdryer, a refrigerator, dishes, and cutlery.
There is a balcony facing the courtyard, where smoking is allowed.
The staff were polite and helpful. The receptionist spoke good English and explained everything clearly, and the housekeeping staff were also very friendly.
The hotel provides a golf cart shuttle to nearby shopping malls.
The location is convenient, close to M-Sphere, Emporium, and the M District, which was the main reason we chose this hotel.
Overall
Suitable for a short stay of one night.
The main drawback is the outdated rooms and mismatch with the photos.
The location and staff are the hotel’s strongest points.

Номера сильно устаревшие. Мебель, стены, углы и ванная с потёртостями и сколами, требуется обновление и ремонт.
Фотографии на сайте не соответствуют текущему состоянию номеров: выглядят новыми, тогда как по факту номера давно не обновлялись.
В номере была заявлена плита, но фактически она отсутствовала — была закрыта и зафиксирована деревянной панелью, воспользоваться ею невозможно.
В номере нет чая и кофе, несмотря на то, что на фотографиях присутствует кофемашина. Чай можно взять на ресепшене в дневное время.
Кондиционер шумный, работает без переносного пульта, управление осуществляется с настенного блока с ограниченным количеством режимов. Даже на минимальном режиме шум заметный.
В туалете нет вытяжки, после душа пар остаётся в комнате, уходит только при открытой двери.
Телевизор показывает только тайские каналы, Smart TV отсутствует, подключение телефона невозможно.
Кухонная зона оборудована раковиной, шкафчиками и посудой, но нефункциональна из-за отсутствия плиты.
Из-за общего износа поверхностей номер визуально выглядит неаккуратно, несмотря на уборку.
Плюсы
Удобная кровать, по две подушки на человека.
Чистое постельное бельё.
Ванная комната была чистой, хороший напор воды.
В номере есть новый фен, холодильник, посуда и столовые приборы.
Есть балкон, выходящий во двор, на котором можно курить.
Вежливый и отзывчивый персонал: девушка на ресепшене хорошо говорит по-английски и подробно всё объясняет, горничные также оставили приятное впечатление.
Предоставляется гольф-кар трансфер до ближайших торговых центров.
Удобное расположение рядом с M-Sphere, Emporium и M-кварталом, что было основной причиной выбора отеля.
Итог
Подходит для краткой остановки на одну ночь.
Основной минус — сильно устаревшие номера и несоответствие фотографиям.
Расположение и персонал — сильные стороны отеля.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaA good location for travellers looking for a quieter neighbourhood compared to the usual sukhumvit experience, but I wouldn’t stay here again.
1. Gets really inaccesible to convenience stores (they do sell limited options of snacks - at a surcharge of course)
2. Engaged their laundry services, almost couldn’t get it back and wanted to bill me an additional fee to get it back in time for me to checkout and catch my flight. Turns out one of my pants was damaged along the way but made no comments about it till I found out. Didn’t pursue this matter as I have to catch a flight, no time to look for resolutions.
3. Was back at the hotel one of the days slightly earlier at 4:30pm, to my dismay the room wasn’t cleaned, the crew only came by at 5:30pm and offered to clean the room but it wasn’t convenient for me (I was half asleep too). Subsequently took a mental note that I can’t be back at the hotel till at least 7pm if I need my room to be cleaned
Your experience may vary, but certainly not one of the experience I was thinking I would received.

LLouisliemArrived at 7pm and was told that the room was fully booked. So they transferred us to Furama Exclusive nearby for 1 night and upgrated our room and upgrade with breakfast. It was a good experience and good customer service. We extended to 2 more nights and they also gave special price. The room is spacious and clean w comfy beds. Will stay there again.
