Great location near the central station of the beautiful city of Leiden. The hotel itself is well into the world-known standards of the Ibis brand; as always, an Ibis hotel is a safe bet for a comfortable night with reasonable prices. Extra points for all of the helpful and sympathetic people at the check-in counter! (The picture I added is actually the windows' view from my room, which was quite pleasant - even more so with the daylight in the morning)

We arrived and had booked a two person room (for four people, accidentally through ***********) and they accommodated us by finding the best priced upgrade. This hotel is lovely (though basic) but with a beautiful restaurant and lovely breakfast. Great service, easy parking!

Aanrader!! Een verrassend ingericht hotel van dezelfde eigenaar als Tullip Inn. Je wordt meegenomen in kleurrijk hotel als een soort beleving. Qua inrichting , style en leuke gadgets. Mooie vrolijke verlichting en je wordt verwelkomt in de lift met een aangename stem uit de speakers. Kamer zijn natuurlijk splinternieuw en modern en weer kleurrijk ingericht. De gewone verlichting zou iets meer kunnen zijn. Want vond t wat donker bij de wastafel. Het hotel heeft geen bar maar De takeaway heeft genoeg versnaperingen. Of je gaat even naar de gezellige bar van het naastgelegen hotel ( Tullip inn, 10 meter lopen ) Overigens kun je daar ook heerlijk ontbijten (aanrader!) mocht je bij de take away niets vinden. Prijs/kwaliteit echt een topper !! Wij komen zeker een keer terug !

Petit hôtel largement suffisant pour une soirée et une nuit de passage. La chambre est confortable et fonctionnelle avec un plateau café ( machine Nespresso), un espace rangement, un petit frigo, une télé, un coin bureau. Il y a de la place. La nuit a été calme, nous étions logé dans une chambre paire qui donnait sur l’arrière et pas sur l’axe routier de l’autre côté Un joli bar accueil les visiteurs et une terrasse permet de prendre l’air en sirotant un apéro Nous avons pris notre dîner au resto de l’hôtel et avons très bien mangé, il n’y avait pas grand monde ce soir la. Le petit dej est bien garni et une dame offre la possibilité de cuisiner en direct une omelette garnie appétissante Le personnel est serviable et agréable, il maîtrise l’anglais parfaitement Un bon moment passé ! Le choix de cet hôtel s’est fait par son prix abordable par rapport aux autres propositions du coin : 149€ pour 1 nuit à 2 pers et 2 petits dej

I was in town overnight i booked at last min. Everything you need is very close by. It's also only 1 min walk from train station which is easy to get to from schipol airport by train. 10 mins Beautiful location and surrounds. The room was warm. Clean. And comfortable. As a Scots traveller some milk would be practical as we like milk In our tea yet this is never provided by our European neighbours. Overall no complaints and I will definitely be back for future trips 5 star.

I stayed at the Tuilip Inn in Leiden with my mam while visiting my sister. The room was spotless and very modern. We had two single beds, a tv and a very large bathroom. The room looked as though it had been recently renovated as it was spotless. The staff were lovely and friendly. They helped with any queries we had about Leiden/transport etc. The breakfast was fantastic. They had a large range of foods, so there is something for everyone. I am quite a fussy eater and I had lots of options. They had fresh fruit bowls, yoghurt, cheeses, hams, pastries, a large range of breads and hot food. There was always something to have and the staff brought out more food on a regular basis. The hotel is situated in a perfect location about 10 minute walk from the main areas. I would definitely stay here again.

This was the first hotel we stayed in on our tour of Holland. It certainly set the standard for our trip. The hotel is set in traditional buildings facing a canal in Old Leiden. We were warmly greeted on our arrival before being shown to our lavishly decorated room. The hotel buildings are narrow and tall like most of the old Dutch buildings and have been sympathetically renovated with many of their original features. This includes the staircase which is steep, narrow and winding. Taking our suitcase up to our room was challenging but we were assisted by the willing receptionist. I have to say it was well worth it, our room was stunning with lovely view over the canal. The room its self was fresh and clean and contained everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was optional and we did opt for breakfast, which although it was quite expensive, it was well worth paying for. There was a great choice of hot and cold food and drinks that were all freshly prepared for you. In particular the extensive egg and tea menu's were quite impressive. The breakfast room itself was exquisitely decorated with panels of Dutch landscapes to browse whilst you ate. Old Leiden was also a beautiful part of the city and our hotel was the perfect base.
