The hotel itself is not 7 stars, but it is the people who work there who makes it such a nice place. Didn’t have a bad experience here, my wife and I happened to be in Peru for a funeral and I had a health issue due to the emotional stress. Santiago from the reception was prompt to call the ambulance and they could fix the situation. Also when friends and family came to visit, I befriended waiter Carlos Abanto, very good guy, he deserves all the compliments, super professional. Because of people like them I plan to come back. Also Zarai Chileno (waitress) was nice and Jose the guy who used to clean my room. With this staff and location I assure you a lot of returning business and many good years to come. The Casa Andina Premium San Isidro Hotel in Lima is a great place to stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with nice beds and modern bathrooms. The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any needs. The hotel has a good restaurant with tasty food, and the breakfast buffet is very nice with many choices. There is also a gym and a small pool, which are good for relaxing. However, the pool area is a bit old and not very clean. The location in San Isidro is excellent, close to shops and restaurants. Overall, it’s a wonderful hotel with great service and a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lima!

Ein schönes Hotel Ich kann es nur Empfehlen, das Personal sehr freundlich. Zimmer sehr sauber, sehr schön und ruhig. Zimmer mit Safe und einem Kühlschrank. Es liegt in einer ruhigen neben Straße, der Bus ist nicht weit und auch gute Restaurants in der Umgebung. Das Hotel Restaurant ist aber die bessere wahl.

We had stayed at another Hilton the previous time we came to Lima, but after staying at the Double Tree, we will only return to this hotel. The location is perfect, the hotel is beautiful, and it has a full gym you can use that provides you with water and a towel when you go. And what really sold it for us was the outstanding customer service. Everyone was incredible, but three people went above and beyond for us. Angel from the hotel restaurant provided top-notch service every morning to us. Also, Alondra from the front desk spent so much time with us, helping us set up our tours to ensure we had a fantastic time. She always had a smile on her face and we never felt like she was bothered by us. On the contrary, she was always happy to help and willing to go the extra mile to provide excellent customer service. Also, the person that provided service to our room was terrific (unfortunately, I can’t remember his name). Every day he wanted to make sure we had what we needed. We had an amazing experience and we will be coming back to this hotel over and over again as long as we continue to get the same experience.

This is not a 5 star hotel experience. Clearly the rooms need some modernisation. There is for example only fans and no temperature control air con. Our bedroom only had one bedside table. When we changed rooms things didn’t work and we had to get them fixed. However staff were very helpful. The bed was comfortable and there was a good sized wardrobe and shower. We had lounge access which was a much smaller area than we are used to and served a very limited food and beverage selection, however Oscar was a great host and did everything possible to make our experience better. We went to the gym but a lot of the equipment was faulty. It is limited but one treadmill out of the three had a non functioning ramp. All of the cross trainers were not working properly. We also had a meal in the restaurant which was average but again friendly staff. Thank you also to Clara who realised our experience had not been great.

Summary: a very good hotel that gets its core mission right, with minor room for improvement to get a perfect score next time. The good: Staff: all staff I encountered from security at the front door to the check-in and restaurant/bar staff were excellent. All FOH staff spoke good to excellent English. A special thanks to Diego at the front desk for being especially friendly and going above and beyond to help me manage multiple reservations I had booked for this property, allowing me to stay in my original room and not have to check out and back in. Thanks also to Henry from the bar/restaurant for his warm and friendly service that made me feel especially welcome and valued. The room: what a fantastic room. Hotel is relatively new and as you’d expect the room is modern, with a seperate desk space for working and plentiful AC and USB charging points for your devices. A very modern bathroom with high pressure rainfall shower and seperate toilet behind a floor to ceiling frosted door. Food/drink: food and drink was excellent, plenty of local and western choices. Not local or authentic by any means but the ‘Texas Burger’ and ‘BBQ Wings’ wouldn’t be out of place at any high quality US diner. Location: hotel is in a safe, quiet pocket of Miraflores within walking distance to the beach, Kennedy park, Lacomar mall and Barranco. There are bus stops nearby if you wish to go to the Lima historic centre. The bad: The bedding: this seems like such an oversight, but the bedding was terrible. Tiny small pillows that are reminiscent of the ones you get given on airplanes and a scratchy blanket that brought back memories from school camp. This seems like an easy one to fix. Noisy: half way through my stay I got some noisy neighbours in the next room and you could hear their conversations clear as day through the wall. So be aware so this may be an issue. Fortunately in my case they went quiet at night time and my sleep wasn’t impacted. Smoking: while this is a smoke free property, the smoking area is right by the front door so you often have to walk through a plume of smoke to enter the property. Please consider moving the smoking area to the other side of the driveway. Conclusion: A very good hotel. If I return to Limq, this would likely be my first choice. This property is better than many Hilton (main brand) I’ve stayed at.

A great choice in the heart of Miraflores. A clean, modern and very quiet hotel close to everything. 1 block away from airport bus stop and 10 minutes walk from the beach. Rooms were serviced everyday and they were more than adequate, I stayed for 2 weeks and had no issues. Many cafes and resturants around the hotel, I did not eat at the hotel itself heover it seemed reasonable and many others did. Highly recommended.

This is my second use of Hotel Diamond. In my first review I regarded it as ”exceptional,” and there is no change in that evaluation! Another great stay. Since my 2021 visit, they have opened up a breakfast buffet on the fourth floor (complimentary). It's excellent. And the view . . . the only place I know of where you can get a glimpse of two grand colonial courtyards (of convents/monasteries), along with a wonderful cluster of colonial church domes. Just a great hotel--friendly staff, efficient and well-cared for, updated rooms, superb location. A winner of winners!

We arrived in Lima at 1:30 AM and needed to stay at a hotel near the airport as we were planning to fly to Cusco within 12 hours upon arrival. The hotel provided us a shuttle that picked us up from the airport to the hotel. Cost was only 30 soles (less than $10 USD). The room was spacious and had the essentials that we need in a hotel. I did wake up at 6 in the morning hearing a rooster. I'll be honest, the hotel is in Callao, which is not the nicest area of Lima. In the morning when we checked out, we wanted to uber to Plaza de Armas de Lima area. Our hotel front office ambassador was so kind - she waited outside the hotel with us to make sure we were protected and constantly checked my phone to ensure we were getting into the correct Uber. Unfortunately, I don't speak Spanish but I understood her gestures when she was saying that my phone could be snatched. I wish I got her name. When we got back to the hotel to go to the airport, our hotel manager held our luggage in a locked room and yet again stayed with us outside for our uber to the airport. For an affordable hotel near the airport, Padama Hotel was definitely a great pick for us.
