Busy again after the pandemic it’s great to enjoy this hotel back to its old self - it was still good, but a bit sad and quiet, for my last visit a year and a half ago. Thanks to the concierge and other front of house staff particularly Filipe, José, Bruno & Jorge for their friendliness, humour, quick attention and excellent English - although once I’d revealed I’d been learning Portuguese for a couple of months, they were happy to help me practice. The location is unbeatable, the rooms distinctly luxurious, and restaurant Matiz (separate review to follow) as good as ever. The only slight criticism, Matiz while a lovely space cannot cope with peak breakfast demand for seats. Perhaps time to re-open the original basement breakfast room?

Stayed here for the first 4 nights of our 2 week trip to Portugal. So impressed with our experience in every way...rooms, staff, atmosphere, breakfast...that we ending up coming back for our last night in Lisbon. This is a n elegant, yet very comfortable, lovely hotel. Beautiful garden setting for outdoor dining with wonderful breakfast buffet. Staff will make you a breakfast to order as well, also cappuccino. Did happy hour cocktails with wonderful sushi. Outstanding attentive staff even went and filled our rental car with gas as we had a very early flight out. We traveled with another couple and saw that all the rooms are beautiful. On our last night had a deluxe room with french doors and a city view...lovely. We stayed at wonderful hotels throughout our trip and would not hesitate to recommend to those planning a trip to Lisbon.

What a truly phenominal experience at the resturant of Memmo Principe Real Lisbon. My family have traveled across the world and have never experienced the holistic quality of service, quality of food and quality of care demonstrated by this hotel and resrurant. The magic began with the call with Vanessa who accommodated our needs with two young children. Eduardo at front reception was so warm, courteous and helpful. Vanessa continued to accommodate our family needs. We received absolutely world class service from Akemi who served us during the night. Vanessa and Eduardo helped ensure our ride back arrived successfully. Anyone looking for world class service, world class quality food, and a care above and beyond, should visit Memmo Principe Real Lisbon. A warm-hearted thank you from our family who tomorrow return to North America. This experience will remain a key final memory in our Lisbon holiday for years to come. We enjoyed the hotel ambiance and the modern decor. We wished the the hotel were more spacious, had a larger pool and gym and a better layout (sometimes if feels like a maze). Nevertheless, our stay was enjoyable and service at bar and restaurant was fine. At the arrival, we were expecting somebody at the entrance to help us with our luggage. Since nobody was there, we had to carry our suitcases over a ramp of steep stairs. We also requested 2 coffee cups in the room (staff removed one of the cups and never replaced it) and some extra hangers, but nobody brought anything during the entire stay (3 nights)....so, we shared the only cup and kept our cloths in the suitcase. Not a big deal, but paying attention to these details would certainly help.

we stayed four nights and had a wonderful time. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice as well. All the staff that we interacted it were absolutely fantastic. We arrived at the hotel just after midnight. The location of the hotel is perfect for spending a dew days in Lisbon. We walked almost everywhere. I would definitely recommend the AVANI Liberdade.

Excellent gym; terrific tour of it and the city view from the roof top location by Miguel, the staff attendant. Varanda restaurant had an outstanding breakfast buffet all three days. Excellent service as well. Room and bathroom very well appointed and serviced each day. Lovely views over the park from the hilltop location. Nice balcony. The concierge could have been much better. I wonder if the Lisboa a Noite restaurant has some sort of kickback scheme going with the major hotels. It was not remotely one of the best locations in Lisbon; 20 minute taxi ride away; grossly expensive - outrageous by Portuguese standards. Another recommendation for a casual dinner at By the Wine was ok, but, again, Lisbon has far better places to offer. The booking at Seen was brilliant, so we’ll give the concierge 1 out of 3. At more than Euro1200/night, this is a very expensive hotel. It’s the height of summer and Lisbon is trending, so I get it. Nonetheless, it’s expensive for what it is.

Great room; we stayed on 18th floor that had a winding staircase with an outside patio. The patio was very large and had a fantastic view; it was wonderful. The beds were comfy and we were able to get an extra single bed brought in as there were 4 of us. The bathrooms were great with the rainshower head and sprayer, large soft bath towels and robes. The only thing that was disappointing is that the window on the main floor only went 1/2 way up the wall and there was no window on the 2nd floor bedroom; however you had the door that opened up to the patio on the 2nd floor. It was a fantastic room. The staff was great and quick to respond to any requests we had. Great place to stay. It is close to a park; restaurants, but seems to be more in the business district; however we walked all other to stores etc. Lisbon is very up/down so you are always walking up or down and on uneven ground/bricks. Fantastic place; just wear comfy/walking shoes and be ready to have some steep uphills and downhills.

We highly recommend Sheraton Lisboa! Everything about our stay was 5 Stars!! The front desk staff was very pleasant when we arrived. We were upgraded to an Executive Suite with our Suite Nights and it was fantastic. Our room was clean, well decorated and extremely comfortable. The air conditioning was quiet and worked perfectly. The bathroom was huge and everything looked brand new. The bed was the best and we slept well. The lobby lounge was staffed very well and the happy hour food and drinks were really good. The lady singing during cocktail hour was really good. The morning breakfast buffet was huge and tended to very well. Overall every staff person was very friendly and professional. Kudos to the management of this hotel for providing us exceptional accomodations in beautiful Lisbon.

Close from the metro station so it is easy to get around. Clean, tidy & reasonably quiet. The outdoor pool is really nice to have, but it was too shallow (1.2m) and there were no bathrobes even when we asked at the counter. All in all, good experience.

Brilliant location and a great place as a base to move around The Avenida metro is super close and you are in the heart of the city ! Chiado, Bairro Alto, Cais Do Sodre etc are all very accessible from here. 20 mins and 8 EUR arrive (Uber) from the airport as well. Clean hotel and friendly staff! 酒店在自由大道上，出入比較方便，有問題問前台都會幫助解決，門口的小哥拿行李也很積極。分到的房間一般，雖然有小陽台，但是樓下是垃圾房，衹能每天關着陽台的門，離c羅最愛的餐廳50米，要去打卡的就很方便啦～早餐一般般，培根和蛋是熱的，另外就咖啡了。另外就是水果和麪包了。

Beautiful view from the 5th floor. Strong wifi and AC. Tiago at reception is very professional and pleasant. See him for any city recommendations or advice. A nice ambassador for the hotel. Very basic and VERY small rooms. The beds are horrendously uncomfortable and our backs are still in agony more than a week later. We asked to change rooms while we were there but were told that “all beds are the same”. Pillows are also super cheap and paper thin. No tea kettles or coffee machines in the room, no cups (not even paper or plastic cups to have a drink of tap water), no bars of soap to wash your hands (need to use the shower gel), no iron, no face clothes, no Kleenex, no fan in bathroom…Not even a Do Not Disturb sign to place on your door to decline housekeeping. In fairness, none of these items were specifically mentioned to be included at the time of booking, but you would think for the price, and in the year 2022, that they would be a standard in any property that proclaims to be a “hotel”. This place is more like a highway truckers inn or hostel, although even many of those places are better stocked. Unfortunately, as friendly as Tiago is, I cannot recommend this property. Spend a little bit more money on a real hotel and you will save in the long run from having to buy all the bare necessities yourself at the local mini-mart, and from having to see a chiropractor when you get home.
