Hotel 2 Bintang di Madrid

This is a five star hostel. It’s in a prime location, near puerta del Sol, churrería 1902 is just around the corner and El Corte inglés too. The beds are comfortables and the rooms have a pleasant temperature. The best part is that they offer a safe for free and it made my stay much better as I was able to leave my passport and electronics in it. You need to bring your own padlock or pay €8 in the reception to close the locker you’re assigned. The only downside is that the beds don’t have a curtain and one of the guests snored all night so I couldn’t sleep that night.

Excellent hostel- we wouldn’t normally use hostels anymore but we’re 3 friends on a city break and it looked great. It was in fact superb- very cool communal areas on the ground floor and the rooms were excellent. Beds very well set up with light and usb switch and very comfortable. We also liked the free activities- exercise classes, sangria making, walking tour etc that encouraged some community. Would highly recommend!

The hostel had a great location! There were lots of great restaurants near by and the night life was fun. They don’t provide any soap or shampoo in the shower. The rooms are small and a tight fit with 3 bunk beds. Nothing fresh for breakfast. I guess you get what you paid for.

The hotel is very simple and old, rooms are clean but by no standards it can be a 4 star hotel or even 3. But the price is definitely not worth it. The location is downtown and near train station (walking 5-10) minutes and to barajas airport by taxi it takes 30 minutes . There are some good restaurants nearby . Because it is in crowded area so it is noisy at night . Everything was normal except the high price .

I would like to share my experience staying at this wonderful hostel in Madrid and give a special shoutout to the staff, who made our stay memorable. Firstly, I have to mention Ricardo, who welcomed us warmly and provided us with all the necessary information about the city. He patiently answered all our questions and gave us some great tips on places to visit, eat and shop. His local knowledge and friendly demeanor made us feel at home and we appreciated his efforts to make our stay enjoyable. Agustin was also amazing, always going out of his way to help us with anything we needed. He was friendly, approachable, and made us feel comfortable asking for help whenever we needed it. His cheerful attitude and willingness to assist made a huge difference to our experience at the hostel. Lastly, I have to mention Javier, who worked the night shift. He not only provided excellent service but also went above and beyond to ensure that everyone was having a great time. Every time before and after going out, he was always up for a conversation, making sure that everyone was in high spirits. His presence gave us a sense of community and his pleasant manner made us feel welcome and cared for. Overall, our experience at this hostel was fantastic, and it was largely due to the wonderful staff. Their professionalism, kindness, and commitment to making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible was greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Madrid and looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. Just five minutes walk to Gran Via metro, at Plaza Pedro Zerolo, the location is a perfect base to get around Madrid. On the 4th floor with windows/narrow balcony overlooking the plaza which can get a bit lively into the small hours of the morning so earplugs are a must! Staff are really friendly and there is a vending machine in the reception. Small reliable lift so push chair/small wheelchair accessible. Rooms are compact and cleaned daily. Shower has good water pressure and hot water but bathroom is really small so if you have long legs you may have to sit side saddle on the toilet! Wifi signal was weak most of the time we were there, if we could get it at all, but when we asked the staff would reboot it for us. Be aware of pickpockets/thieves operating around the plaza if you sit at any of the outside tables. My son had his phone stolen and the staff at Sultan Palast where we were eating, were of no help at all. Luckily some local customers tried to help us but we didn’t get his phone back. Would return and happily recommend!

마드리드 중심에 위치해서 어디를 가도 다 가까워서 편했어요! 호스텔이라고 해서 별 기대 안 하고 가서 그런지 내부도 깔끔하고 좋았습니당 직원분들도 너무 친절하고 요청사항도 바로바로 들어주셨어요!

Bardzo mi się podobało w tym miejscu i wrócę tam nie jeden raz :-) niestety zapomniałem koszulki .. po dwóch dniach zadzwoniłem i obsługa klienta mnie poinformowała że została na łóżko bardzo udciwi i sympatyczni ludzi potrzebuje państwa email bardzo pilne nie mogę znaleźć na stronie by do was napisać mój adres byście mogli mi odesłać na mój koszt moja koszulkę z góry bardzo dziękuję mój email to ***************************
