Hotel berhampiran Galerie Edmond, Marseille

Went for a long weekend to see the city and it’s history, really enjoyed our time, 3 days was plenty to see everything. The hotel was in a fantastic location, right near the Metro. Everyone was friendly in the hotel, and spoke English very well which was useful as our French isn’t great. Couldn’t have asked for anything more, also the deposit was paid back straight away on the same day in full. Highly recommend.

The InterContinental M****ille is undoubtedly the best luxury hotel in M****ille. Housed in a converted historical hospital, it offers a unique and charming ambiance. The breakfast served at the Terrace boasts breathtaking views and includes delicious freshly made waffles and refreshing orange juice. The rooms are impeccably clean, and the beds are luxuriously comfortable. However, upon our late arrival at 11pm, we were disappointed to find only cold sandwiches available for room service.

I never write reviews! But we were super impressed. Fantastic boutique hotel. Two minutes from the train station. Spotlessly clean and super helpful. We were only here for a short time but were made to feel like we were at home. We will be back.

Although our stay was fine, we had a very bad experience. My brother-in-law forgot his tablet in his room. He had left it on the floor near the wall and in the morning upon drawing the curtains open the tablet was hidden behind so he didn't see it. Arriving in our next hotel destination (Villeneuve-Loubet) he realized the tablet was left in Toyoko-Inn. He immediately called the hotel and the security guy told him no tablet was found. He went to personally check the room that happened to be empty as no guest was in that room that night. He then told my brother-in-law he didn't find anything. We called the hotel again the following day and we got the same answer. We sent an e-mail to the hotel manager only to get the same answer. Since there was no other guest in that room it seems that only people from the hotel entered it. We can not believe a tablet can vanish without a human intervention so we suspect that somebody from the hotel found it but didn't deliver it to the reception. This matter ruined the remaining days of our vacation and left a bitter taste in our mouths. I sent a complaint to the Tourism Office in M****illes but they couldn't answer me as they are on public holidays! So, if you stay in that hotel double and triple check your room before you leave because if something valuable is forgotten it's more than certain it won't be recovered or compensated.

The hotel is in a good location. Very near to the centre. The room extremely clean and the hotel in general. The staff very friendly. We could have our breakfast outide. There is a huge place outside to sit enjoy a drink or a meal. As we we’re coming to town we saw lots of rubbish in several parts of the town in Marseille. I didn’t like that…. But the hotel was a great choice.

What makes this place special are the people. Yes, it is modern, tastefully designed and immaculate with great access to public transport and a couple of local treasures, the front desk with Tata, Tania and Sujata, complete with broad smiles and great local knowledge are a compliment to manager Emmanuel and Mr Fixit, Julian.

Dies war unser zweiter Aufenthalt in einem Hotel dieser Kette, das erste Mal in der Provence. Positive: Im Allgemeinen war unsere Erfahrung positiv, ein guter Ort für eine kurze Übernachtung und Weiterreise. Es gibt einen Parkplatz (in Marseille kostete er 10 Euro extra). Man kann kochen, wenn man will (es gibt eine Küche, Geschirr und Geräte). Bett, Bad und Toilette waren schön und sauber. Kritik: In Marseille war das Zimmer abgenutzt und schlecht gereinigt, es war Staub auf der Mikrowelle und in der Klimaanlage (viel dicke Schicht) nicht gereinigt. Schlecht schließendes Gefrierfach, in dem sich eine Menge Schnee befand. Es gab keine zusätzliche Decke oder Kissen. Wir konnten nicht mit einem zusätzlichen Kissen auf Anfrage zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Wenn die Zimmermädchen auf die kleinen Dinge achten würden, wäre es sehr gut.

My partner and I are staying in this hotel tonight (17Sep) The good. New hotel, feels clean and fresh. Nice airy lobby / reception area. Small pool but clean and inviting. Really friendly staff, I’ve asked for slippers and bucket of ice, delivered to our room within minutes with a smile. Thank you🌸 Underground car park, very convenient, but expensive. Bad: Our room ( no 814) has a very strange layout. The bathroom is “split” in half. Toilet is located separately by the door and the other “part of the bathroom” sink and shower is located on the other side of the room. Separate toilet has NO sink, so every time we use toilet we have to walk to the other side of the room to wash hands - unpractical, illogical and dead annoying. Very limited room service menu, very few dishes, no wine, no champi. The area - really dirty, rubbish on the street, noise from nearby apartment blocks. All in all - okay’ish for 1-2 nights not longer.

Le cadre de verdure est agréable malgré la proximité de la zone commerciale. Appartement correct et propre à notre arrivée. Petit déjeuner correct. Points à savoir: les enfants n'ont pas pied dans la piscine sauf dans le tout petit bain; l'équipement de la cuisine est minimaliste, difficile de cuisiner; dans le logement en duplex, la climatisation étant installée en bas, l'été on a chaud dans la mezzanine et ceux qui dorment en bas dans le canapé ont froid; le canapé a un matelas plutôt fin; certains soirs il y a une grosse soirée très bruyante dans le club de sport voisin.

Un établissement très accueillant très à l’écoute. Un lieu très agréable un extérieur spacieux, une qualité de service rare Denis jours .
