Hotel berhampiran Bhuwaneshwar Temple, New York

I booked a balcony room and was moved to a suite as they had oversold the balcony rooms. Suite was clean and accomodating. I would say the bathroom may need attention as there was mold near the shower and the toilet roll holder was coming off the wall. Other than that, loved the size and welcoming feel of the suite.

Apabila saya datang ke Amerika Syarikat untuk perjalanan perniagaan, saya mula-mula pergi ke New York. Seorang rakan mengesyorkan tinggal di Pulau Manhattan. Terdapat ramai pelancong asing, dan bagasi boleh disimpan di tingkat satu. Orang-orang di kaunter penerimaan tetamu sangat mengalu-alukan. Tetapi kelemahannya juga jelas. Penebat bunyi sangat teruk Apabila orang di sebelah datang kembali atau berjalan di koridor, hampir tiada orang dan penebat bunyi yang saya hanya boleh menghidupkan minimum untuk menonton TV. Kebetulan terdapat mesin ais di pintu bilik (ciri hotel Amerika ia bermula setiap kali, seperti traktor Mujurlah, saya perlu menghilangkan jet lag dan tertidur dalam persekitaran yang bising. Di samping itu, ia masih merupakan hotel yang sangat baik dan kos efektif Orang yang mempunyai kualiti tidur yang baik boleh mengabaikannya.

Room is ok. Location is superb. Cleanliness & Services need significant improvement. Call for all services need to wait for a day. Cannot tolerated the 5 stars hotel like this. Will not recommend to stay there again, as not value for money.

Harga ★★★★☆ Pengangkutan ★★★★☆ Kebersihan ★★☆☆☆ Saya menginap di tingkat 8 selama 3 malam. Di tingkat 8 dan 9, hanya terdapat satu tandas berkongsi (tandas + pancuran) untuk wanita. Terdapat hanya tiga bilik pancuran mandian di bilik pancuran mandian, dan kepala pancuran mandian yang pecah tidak dibaiki walaupun selepas beberapa hari, jadi ia tidak mencukupi untuk menggunakannya. Orang yang menggunakan pancuran mandian sering mengunci pintu dari dalam, jadi saya terpaksa berulang-alik antara bilik dan bilik mandi untuk memeriksa sama ada pintu terbuka. Pada suatu hari, saya tidak mempunyai pilihan selain menggunakan bilik mandi di tingkat 9, dan saya terkejut melihat banyak acuan di bilik mandi di bahagian bawah semua langsir pancuran mandian. Berbanding dengan asrama yang saya gunakan di kawasan lain seperti Washington atau Boston, aspek kebersihan benar-benar mengecewakan. Namun begitu, ia berbaloi untuk tinggal jika anda inginkan tempat yang agak murah dengan pengangkutan yang mudah dalam kos sara hidup yang tinggi di New York.

The location of the hotel is in China town where Chinese restaurants, stores and grocery stores around it. Most of the customers were Chinese. It is close to the subway station, takes about 7 minutes to get there, but takes at least 30 minutes to get to Manhattan by train. We spent a lot of time on commute. If you want to visit Manhattan, I recommend staying in Manhattan. The highlight of the staying was breakfast which was perfect. However, I can’t believe that the hotel does not provide water, and we had to pay for water.

Super friendly from the front desk check-in process to the restaurant and bar staff. Concierge was also very helpful. Great seating areas for work, relaxing, or enjoying a drink with friends. Good choice of gluten-free breakfast options both in the restaurant and for room service. You just need to ask. The staff were really friendly and helpful when informed of specific dietary needs. Had a brilliant stay in Hoboken. It was so quick and easy to get into the city (PATH: 15 minute/ 5 stop train ride from Hoboken into downtown Manhattan. Then you get the best of both worlds. A beautiful waterfront experience with pedestrian walkways and great restaurants, as well as access to the vibrant New York city life.

Saya tidak menjangkakan untuk menginap di hotel yang bagus pada harga yang murah. Ia benar-benar melebihi jangkaan saya. During my week-long stay at Hi New York hostel from December 14th to 21st, I found the overall experience to be quite enjoyable. The check-in process was seamless, thanks to the ever-present front desk staff who were helpful and efficient, ensuring a smooth start to my stay The proximity of the canteen and cafeteria next to the reception area added to the convenience. The cafeteria offered a delightful selection of freshly baked goods and various beverages, making it a pleasant spot to unwind. While I explored nearby Bodegas for budget-friendly groceries, the hostel's public kitchen became my go-to for preparing breakfast and dinner. Although the communal kitchen occasionally suffered from post-use neglect, the dedicated hostel staff ensured it remained clean and well-equipped. The cleanliness of the shared facilities extended to the toilets, which were consistently well-maintained and stocked with amenities. This attention to hygiene contributed significantly to a positive overall experience. Despite booking a bed in a 12-bed room, I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and the daily cleaning routine carried out by the diligent hostel staff. Adding to the positive experience, the Hi New York hostel's location proved to be exceptionally convenient for exploring major destinations. The hostel's close proximity to a subway station, just a 2-minute walk away, made traveling around the city a breeze. This accessibility enhanced the overall convenience of my stay, allowing me to easily reach and explore various attractions without any hassle. The strategic location near the subway station was undoubtedly a valuable asset for anyone looking to make the most of their time in the city. In essence, Hi New York hostel provided a comfortable and budget-friendly accommodation option with its friendly staff, convenient amenities, and well-maintained communal spaces. My stay was marked by a harmonious balance of affordability and quality service.

I stayed here one night to go to a concert at Prudential Center (picture attached show how close it is, seeing the venue from my room’s window). The hotel is within walking distance from the venue, what makes it very convenient if you’re going there. The hotel is perfect, breakfast was very nice and the area surrounding it is really nice. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Friday June 28, 2024 Check-in was suppose to be at 4 pm. I tried to check in at 3pm but was told room was not ready. Totally understand that. I went to TED’s bar and restaurant (in lobby) to wait it out. I got into line about 4:15pm and I saw that they were turning ppl away who were trying to checkin. When I got to the counter, they too told me my room was not ready. I said that I had to get to an event within the 1.25 min and the associate confidently said that I would be able to checkin well advance within that time. In the meantime, I went to the lobby bathroom to change to get ready for an event. By the time I came out of the bathroom 4:55, my husband had checked us in (with pushback because he wasn’t the one who had not made the original reservation). In our bathroom floor, several strands of hair noted, some wall stains (wipeable) under the hand soap and lotion dispenser, and shower did t look like it was wipe down well. Bed linens were clean, comfy. Desk area clean. Busy hotel. Ted’s hotel-slow service with a 1-2 attendants.
