Hotel berhampiran Jacob Wrey Mould Fountain, New York

I booked a balcony room and was moved to a suite as they had oversold the balcony rooms. Suite was clean and accomodating. I would say the bathroom may need attention as there was mold near the shower and the toilet roll holder was coming off the wall. Other than that, loved the size and welcoming feel of the suite.

This place is so classic. It could have been 50 years in the past in all the right ways. The service was absolutely amazing. With it being a very old building I was expecting poor water pressure, but it was fantastic and it got as hot as you wanted it. I don't see any reason that I would stay anywhere else. Book now and enjoy a classic hotel on your visit to NYC.

Terdapat hanya tiga bilik pancuran mandian di bilik pancuran mandian, dan kepala pancuran mandian yang pecah tidak dibaiki walaupun selepas beberapa hari, jadi ia tidak mencukupi untuk menggunakannya. Orang yang menggunakan pancuran mandian sering mengunci pintu dari dalam, jadi saya terpaksa berulang-alik antara bilik dan bilik mandi untuk memeriksa sama ada pintu terbuka. Pada suatu hari, saya tidak mempunyai pilihan selain menggunakan bilik mandi di tingkat 9, dan saya terkejut melihat banyak acuan di bilik mandi di bahagian bawah semua langsir pancuran mandian. Berbanding dengan asrama yang saya gunakan di kawasan lain seperti Washington atau Boston, aspek kebersihan benar-benar mengecewakan. Namun begitu, ia berbaloi untuk tinggal jika anda inginkan tempat yang agak murah dengan pengangkutan yang mudah dalam kos sara hidup yang tinggi di New York.

During my week-long stay at Hi New York hostel from December 14th to 21st, I found the overall experience to be quite enjoyable. The check-in process was seamless, thanks to the ever-present front desk staff who were helpful and efficient, ensuring a smooth start to my stay The proximity of the canteen and cafeteria next to the reception area added to the convenience. The cafeteria offered a delightful selection of freshly baked goods and various beverages, making it a pleasant spot to unwind. While I explored nearby Bodegas for budget-friendly groceries, the hostel's public kitchen became my go-to for preparing breakfast and dinner. Although the communal kitchen occasionally suffered from post-use neglect, the dedicated hostel staff ensured it remained clean and well-equipped. The cleanliness of the shared facilities extended to the toilets, which were consistently well-maintained and stocked with amenities. This attention to hygiene contributed significantly to a positive overall experience. Despite booking a bed in a 12-bed room, I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and the daily cleaning routine carried out by the diligent hostel staff. Adding to the positive experience, the Hi New York hostel's location proved to be exceptionally convenient for exploring major destinations. The hostel's close proximity to a subway station, just a 2-minute walk away, made traveling around the city a breeze. This accessibility enhanced the overall convenience of my stay, allowing me to easily reach and explore various attractions without any hassle. The strategic location near the subway station was undoubtedly a valuable asset for anyone looking to make the most of their time in the city. In essence, Hi New York hostel provided a comfortable and budget-friendly accommodation option with its friendly staff, convenient amenities, and well-maintained communal spaces. My stay was marked by a harmonious balance of affordability and quality service.

I stayed here one night to go to a concert at Prudential Center (picture attached show how close it is, seeing the venue from my room’s window). The hotel is within walking distance from the venue, what makes it very convenient if you’re going there. The hotel is perfect, breakfast was very nice and the area surrounding it is really nice. I really enjoyed my stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay. Only a $4.50 bus ride to NYC. Bus picks you up in front of hotel. Also close to dream mall. Rooms were clean, good breakfast, and showers were hot. Hotel is a short ride to American Dream Mall. Very reasonably priced. Will stay again.

The location of the hotel is in China town where Chinese restaurants, stores and grocery stores around it. Most of the customers were Chinese. It is close to the subway station, takes about 7 minutes to get there, but takes at least 30 minutes to get to Manhattan by train. We spent a lot of time on commute. If you want to visit Manhattan, I recommend staying in Manhattan. The highlight of the staying was breakfast which was perfect. However, I can’t believe that the hotel does not provide water, and we had to pay for water.

Saya tidak menjangkakan untuk menginap di hotel yang bagus pada harga yang murah. Ia benar-benar melebihi jangkaan saya. Ia mempunyai rasa hotel berbintang (banyak hotel dengan empat bintang ke atas memberi saya perasaan hotel ekspres domestik, tetapi yang ini mempunyai suasana hotel berbintang). It’s at the average level. It’s far away from the airport, however if you take a taxi, it costs 6mins and 35 dollars!!!!! All the facilities are not at the expectation but the having enough space (quite big). The bed is comfortable to sleep. The toilet at the bathroom is always full of water (not dirty), it’s normal? Curious about that…… And the hotel service is also acceptable. Overall, as a Hilton hotel, it is under my expectation.
