Hotel di Odemira

We came here for 3 nights before heading to Cascais for a further 3 nights last week. The Hotel is perfectly situated next to beautiful beaches, minutes from the old town, walks etc. We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly and overall the hotel is clean. Breakfast buffet is generous, if you can get a table on the outside veranda do as the view is fantastic. In the Evening the buffet /dinner appears to be very popular and good value at €22 approximately. You can also avail of a complimentary glass of wine . However , I feel it is worth pointing out some issues that could and should be addressed by the hotel to raise its standards and reputation that it deserves due to its location. 1-No glasses in the rooms . Why not? even for toothbrushes etc. 2-No hooks on the bathroom door for wet towels . 3-No towels by the poolside .This is standard in all hotels. 4-The beds / mattress's are very hardened uncomfortable ! 5-A daily charge of €2.50 for use of the safe. I have never come across this before. I travel extensively worldwide with my work, staying an average of between 30-50 hotels per year. This should be included, for the safekeeping of guests .Considering the room rates are not exactly bargains. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the HS Milfontes. I feel there are issues and shortcomings that could be very easily addressed by the owners/Management without breaking the bank in expenditure. Hopefully we will be back again in the near future with a sea view room ,albeit with a more comfortable bed !!

Abbiamo apprezzato la disponibilità, la possibilità di bere succo, the e caffè nella hall dove abbiamo passato una bella serata tra amici. Camere a piano inferiore piuttosto piccole ma confortevoli. Abbiamo approfittato della pompa di calore per scaldarci dopo la prima giornata di trekking sotto la pioggia e di asciugare gli indumenti Ambiente semplice ma silenzioso

Em visita a costa vicentina e procurando um lugar para dormir 1 noite, ficamos convencidos a visitar este lugar pela experiência que oferece com os animais para as nossas 3 filhas, mas foi realmente terrível. Telefonei para o espaço horas antes da reserva e prontamente me arranjaram um t2 para ficar. O check in é feito num outro espaço o HS Hotel e só depois de tudo tratado é que somos ”mandados” para aqui. Assim foi, chegamos perto das 20:00h, fizemos o check in, perguntei onde era o lugar e a Cláudia, único ponto a favor desta experiência foi mesmo o atendimento por parte desta funcionária, informou que a quinta ficava a pelo menos 10 mindo local onde estávamos e que o lugar parecia um descampado, não tinha luz e a estrada era de terra batida mas que se fazia bem. Tudo é verdade, a estrada é horrível! São cerca de 2.5km em terra batida em que o carro a 10km/h salta por todo o lado, buracos enormes, à noite sem uma única luz, no meio da floresta. Á chegada não há ninguém para nos receber, não há luz, não conseguimos encontrar o nosso quarto, andamos mais de 1h com lanternas a tentar encontrar o sitio por onde entrar com o carro. Já dentro do apartamento, não há televisão nos quartos, a que está na sala não funciona. A Internet não entra.em nenhum telemóvel. As camas são desconfortáveis, os quartos velhos e com o mínimo possível de comodidade. Resumindo, Isto é verdadeiramente MEDONHO, e sim é verdade existem animais. Mas com estas condições não há animais que salvem este sítio.

Zona calma, a poucos minutos do centro e praia. Quarto agradável, asseado e o pessoal muito simpático. Recomendo!

Defeitos: barulho do ar condicionado do quarto 2, pois a ventoinha está na varanda do quarto 3 (era o nosso) e está solto no chão Deixo uma dica, colocar uma toalha por baixo. Longe do centro/praias (cerca de 2 a 3km), obriga a levar sempre o carro. De resto foi top, piscina muito boa.

Comfy apartment, incredibly quiet. Lush vegetation, a small pool, some wildlife. And you have great beaches not far. Friendly, uncomplicated staff. Super clean. Good wifi. Highly recommended for families or couples.
