JJune CaoAs a newly established boutique homestay-style hotel, it is clear that the management is making a sincere effort to provide good service. The hotel’s renovation and room interiors are modern, clean, and well-maintained. However, there are several significant issues that would make me hesitant to recommend this property to other travelers. 1. Severe Smoke Issue from Adjacent Residential Property There is a local residential house located immediately next to the hotel. Throughout the day, the residents appear to be cooking or boiling large pots of water and soup using wood-fired stoves (柴火). Unfortunately, this activity takes place directly below our room window. As a result, not only is there effectively no view from the room, but we were also forced to keep the windows completely closed at all times to prevent heavy smoke from entering. The situation was further aggravated by the fact that the hotel did not operate the central air-conditioning system, presumably because the outdoor temperature was relatively cool. Consequently, fresh air circulation in the room was limited. Jiuzhaigou is renowned for its clean mountain air, yet whenever we were in the room, we could smell and breathe in wood smoke, which significantly affected our comfort and overall experience. 2. Smoking Permitted in Public Areas Guests were allowed to smoke in the Level 1 public areas, including parts of the dining area. While I understand that this may still be relatively common in some parts of China, it created an uncomfortable environment, especially for families traveling with young children. A smoke-free dining and common area would greatly improve the guest experience. 3. Room Cleanliness Concerns Compared with the issues above, this may seem relatively minor. However, when we checked into the room at approximately 10:00 p.m., the trash bin had not been emptied, and there were flies and small insects present in the room. 作为一家新开业的精品民宿酒店，可以看出酒店团队确实在努力提供良好的服务。酒店整体装修设计新颖，房间也较为整洁干净，硬件条件令人满意。然而，在入住期间遇到的几个较为严重的问题，让我难以向其他旅客推荐这家酒店。 1. 隔壁居民长期烧柴导致严重烟雾问题 酒店紧邻当地居民住宅，而该住户似乎全天都在使用柴火（木材）烧水、煮汤或做饭。更不巧的是，他们的柴火灶位置正好位于我们房间窗户下方。 因此，房间不仅几乎没有景观可言，我们还必须全天候紧闭窗户，以避免大量烟雾进入房间。更令人遗憾的是，由于当地天气较凉爽，酒店并未开启中央空调系统，导致房间缺乏有效的空气循环。九寨沟以优质空气和自然环境闻名，但在房间内却经常闻到浓重的柴火烟味，严重影响入住体验和舒适度。 2. 公共区域允许吸烟 酒店一楼公共区域，包括部分用餐区域，允许客人吸烟。虽然我理解这在部分地区仍较为常见，但对于携带儿童出行的家庭而言，这样的环境并不友好。 3. 客房清洁细节有待加强 相较于前两项问题，这一点或许显得较为次要。但当我们晚上约10点办理入住时，房间内的垃圾桶并未清理干净，同时还有苍蝇及小虫出现。虽然并非严重的问题，但仍反映出客房清洁管理方面存在提升空间。

PPengguna TetamuWe had a wonderful experience at Jiuzhai Yunshang. As experienced travelers, two important criteria for our choice of hotels are the view from our room and the service. This place exceeds our expectation on both counts. Our room has a panoramic view of the mountain, and a delicate Japanese maple swaying in the breeze in our courtyard. The decor of the room is tasteful, and in harmony with the surroundings. There are actually many Japanese maples on the premises, in different shades of red and green, adding a unique flavor to the majestic mountain backdrop. The service is attentive and all our needs were often anticipated. We could not handle spicy food, and great care was taken to provide us with non spicy options. The dining area is peaceful and the presentation always simple and elegant. We especially appreciated the prompt transportation provided for us to various activities, always done with efficiency and a ready smile.There were many small details of thoughtful service, too numerous to recount here. This place is serene, and an oasis of calm. We spent time at the National Park, rode horses on the beautiful plateau, and for two afternoons simply sat in our room or patio, reading and enjoying the view. I even had an epiphany moment while contemplating the grandeur of the mountains. What makes this place a magical stay for us was Lung Lung and Luna. Thank you Lung Lung and Luna! Your gentle spirit and the wholehearted giving of yourselves truly blessed us. May double blessings be returned to you, in all your travels and at home. Till we meet again!

SShirley BonA super pretty hotel with beautiful design and great vibes throughout the property and the rooms. The surrounding scenery is stunning. It’s very convenient that the hotel provides a Mercedes van shuttle service to Jiuzhaigou National Park. The breakfast offers a variety of options and tastes great. I stayed at the end of autumn, close to the winter season, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to everyone! 🥰✨

DDianna Itunin GaoThe hotel is beautiful, looks and feels brand new. I loved the local culture influence on the design. The staff was very professional and helpful. The environment is beautiful and clean. The location is great, there are many good dining options around. We got the voucher for the photography session and were super happy with the results! The photos ended up amazingly and we ended up buying much more than we planned to😂 I have 1 point for improvement which is the breakfast. For 5 start resort hotel such as Hilton the choices were quite limited. For eggs part there were only sunny side up. No option for omelets or even scrambled eggs. For the veggies section as well, very dull. No cucumber or tomato even. This is the most basic things in my opinion for a resort hotel of such level. After I asked the restaurant manager for some cucumber and tomato they brought me a nice plate, but I think this shouldn’t be asked for, it should be available for all. Overall we had a great stay and experience, hope my notes will be addressed. Thank you!

PPengguna TetamuI am not the type of person who usually leaves a review unless I am really impressed. Also, my mom, who traveled and stayed with me at this hotel, told me to give this place a good review and a 5-star rating because of the great experience we had. Even before we arrived, I contacted the hotel to make sure which type of room would fit all of us, and to ask about the weather and what clothes and items we should prepare. We also asked them to make sure that the taxi driver who picked us up from the station was safe and had a work permit. All of our messages were replied to within seconds or minutes. During our stay, they provided a lot of free mineral water bottles, which was very important for us, so we never ran out of water. They also provided very good and complete amenities. On the first night, the floor heater in our room was not working, so they gave us an additional large heater, which made the room very warm and comfortable. They also provided drop off and pick up service to the Jiuzhaigou entrance, which really helped us, so we didn’t need to walk about 800 meters to 1 km in below-zero temperatures. They even helped us book a taxi when we were going back to the station. Although they missed our request for a bigger car (since there were four of us with big luggage), I understand that it was difficult to find that kind of car at that time. The driver who took us — I’m not sure, who he is, but I think he is the boss (since the staff, asked lots of questions to him)— could speak English quite well and understood us even though we spoke broken Chinese. They also gave us a late check out at 3pm Overall, it was a very pleasant experience staying here. They treated us not just as guests or customers, but really cared about making sure we had the best experience while visiting Jiuzhaigou. The only downside of this hotel is that the bathroom is a bit small and there are no hooks to hang towels or clothes. However, this was not a big issue for us at all. I highly recommend everyone to book this hotel.

MML NWe recently completed our first family trip to Jiuzhaigou, and our stay at the Conrad Jiuzhaigou was an absolute highlight that contributed significantly to the magic of the experience. Our group included 5 people (2 were kids), and the hotel catered to all of us with warmth and efficiency. 🏞️ Stunning Views and Impeccable Cleanliness From the moment we arrived, we were left speechless by the stunning views surrounding the property. The scenery is simply breathtaking and left an unforgettable impression of both the Conrad and Jiuzhaigou itself. Beyond the views, the hotel's cleanliness was impeccable, ensuring a comfortable and reassuring environment throughout our stay. 💖 Outstanding Staff and Exceptional Hospitality The entire staff team at the Conrad Jiuzhaigou deserves immense praise for their incredibly helpful and professional service. They truly elevated our stay. We are especially grateful for their efforts in upgrading one of our rooms. This allowed all five family members to stay within the same block, which was highly appreciated and made our family logistics so much easier. Also, a standout service was the golf cart transportation required between our room and the main lobby. The staff were exceptionally attentive, ensuring we never had to wait in the freezing weather. The cars arrived almost instantly upon request, demonstrating remarkable efficiency and concern for guest comfort. A special shout-out must go to Ms. May who helped us check-in at the Reception counter. She took excellent care of us from the moment we stepped into the hotel, processing our check-in smoothly and efficiently. Her welcoming presence set a wonderful tone for the rest of our stay. 🍳 Delightful Dining Experience The breakfast at the Conrad was another major positive. The spread was wide and diverse, offering something for everyone in our group, and the taste and quality were truly excellent. It was the perfect start to our long days of sightseeing. In summary, the Conrad Jiuzhaigou is more than just a place to stay—it's a destination that offers comfort, luxury, and world-class hospitality. The combination of the stunning views, pristine environment, and the helpfulness of the entire staff (especially Ms. May) made this an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Jiuzhaigou.

PPengguna TetamuGreat room with amazing scenery, however the bed is kinda of hard. The some staff isn't friendly especially the driver and the location isn't strategic. There is no restaurant or anything near the hotel, the only choice is the hotel canteen. The hotel also really far from the JiuZaiGou Scienic Area, and the transportation services given by the hotel isn't escort you the scienic area but just drop you to the nearest bus station. Also, you need to use taxi service to return to the hotel from the scienic area. Overall, its a place with great scenery and room, however the some staff arent friendly and the location is really bad.

The biggest concern was the heater/air-conditioner in the room, which didn’t seem to work properly. The room felt very boiling, and even after setting it to “cool,” it didn’t get any better and made weird noises, which made it uncomfortable through the night. We were also given a twin bed setup, considering we are couple purposes in our booking. It would have been nice if this had been confirmed with us in advance through the app. Additionally, the listing on Trip.com advertised hot spring amenities available all year round. However, upon arrival, we were informed that access depends on specific room types or that the public area was closed due to the cold season. This felt a bit misleading. On a positive note, breakfast and tea/coffee were provided in the lobby, which we appreciated.
