This is a beautiful homestay in the middle of an ancient village and close to the main road. If you do not want to walk, they have a rental bike. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although they speak little English, Google Translate has helped. They serve a beautiful table service breakfast. Like most farm homestays in China. They do not have a restaurant. But there is a big one in the next village, and it is walkable. Otherwise, the main square will be 10 minutes away by (DiDI) taxi. The homestay is a renovated Diaolou built over 100 years ago. The stairs were shallow and steep because it is the originals. You can read about their beautiful and extraordinary transformation on the wall of the beautiful Lobby. The room was beautifully furnished, and the A/C and WiFi work beautifully, especially in Southern China. The humidity could be unbearable, which is a big plus. The shower was large and clean, with plenty of hot water. There were also a lot of outside areas. Some rooms also include a private patio and balcony. The amenities were first class: a very comfortable bed and fresh sheets. I highly recommend this place to stay if you want to visit Kaiping. I will be back again. Book fast. 第一次住這間酒店，前台小姐姐小哥哥非常熱情接待，房間阿姨打掃得也干淨，本來訂了三晚，有事需要取消一晚，前台和平台也極快的處理好了，這必須五星好評！！！ 提點小小意見，如果備兩條小擦臉巾或擦手巾更好，洗手後可以用，廁所只有一個紙球也不太夠，沖涼房水壓很夠很舒適，加個扶手更安全，但是沒地方放衣服不太方便，總體來說還是不錯的，謝謝酒店全體職員，下次見

Those can be opened, but they have no mosquito nets. The window in the bathroom has. Very good location to visit the diaolou in the area. 日本人バックパッカーです。シンプルで快適な宿でした。お湯もたっぷり出て、安心してシャワーが浴びられました。洗濯物の干せる屋上もあり助かりました。1月の開平は寒くもなく暑くもなく観光に最適です。夜は歩行街へ行ってみてください。たくさんの屋台で楽しいです。花甲麺アサリ麺がおいしいですよ☺ 米甘香のタウナギ釜飯もオススメです。

The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and providing to-the-point service – no fuss, just what I needed. A huge plus was the hotel's location. Being within walking distance of so many attractions made exploring a breeze. And when I got hungry, the abundance of great food options nearby was the cherry on top. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay. It's in rural area and rides may not be to easy to get after 10pm. If you plan to return late to the hotel, be sure to know how to contact the hotel just in case the front desk is closed. Sorry to wake you at the middle of night boss lady!
