"The location is amazing: it’s just next to Wangfujing Street so perfect for first timer in Beijing. It’s just so nice to walk in the large pedestrian avenue and enjoy the vibes of Wangfujing. The rooms are bit old, it probably was a strong 5 stars 20 years ago, but it really feels old now and amenities could be updated. For instance in the bathroom, there is a bath/shower + a separate standalone shower, but there is the shower gel/shampoo is available only for the bath section… The room is clean though so worth considering. I’m staying in Room 1815, a terrace room, and it is absolutely stunning. The design, the comfort, the quiet elegance, the thoughtful touches throughout the space—it feels less like a hotel room and more like a perfectly curated private retreat. Stepping out onto the terrace is pure magic.
The service is flawless without ever feeling stiff or overbearing. Staff anticipate needs before you even realize you have them. Everything feels seamless, calm, and deeply considerate.
Hands down, this is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in—across any country. Hotel Éclat doesn’t just offer luxury; it offers an experience that makes you feel cared for, relaxed, and genuinely special.
