Hotel berhampiran Church of Saint Valentine, Rome

Hotel was in a great location. walking distance to the main railway station and to the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain. Good nearby bus links to the colosseum and the circus Maximus, and only a ten minute walk to the nearest underground. The hotel did a buffet breakfast which was very convenient, and had a mini bar in the room which we didn’t use, but the prices seemed reasonable for a hotel in Rome. Good restaurants nearby also.

Nice hotel perfectly situated between Via del Corso and Pantheon. A distinguished hotel with nice rooms and good beds. Nice straff and good cleaning. We liked the roof garden where we could eat our breakfast. The breakfast was rather simple, but ok. Missed some vegetables. You will feel very safe here because you have to pass several policemen on your way in. The plate in front of the parlament is closed to the public.

The hotel is situated right behind the Metro B line, only one stop from the Roma Termini metro station (or you can walk to Roma Termini by foot, which takes about 8 mins). So it's super convenient to travel anywhere by metro (but please note some metro stations may not be closed without prior notice). Our room is tiny but tidy, with all kinds of toiletries available (including slippers). The shower area is quite spacious compared to other hotels/hostels we stayed in during our trip. Our booking didn't include any breakfast, but we got some pastries and coffee just downstairs (there are a few cafe bars nearby). Will definitely come back if I am in Rome next time.

Sono certa che ognuno di noi abbia la propria scala di fattori per valutare se un posto e' bello o brutto ma che siano le persone il valore aggiunto. In questo hotel pulito, carino e molto comodo , vicino alla stazione di Roma Termini sono proprio le persone che fanno di un piccolo hotel, un punto di riferimento per i nostri viaggi a Roma. Paola della reception e' stata, ed è, la persona che ci ha seguito in fase di prenotazione e che si è fatta in quattro per aiutarci a proiettare le nostre fotografie su una parete, di una saletta allestita solamente per noi, un gruppetto di fotografi arrivati in città per un corso di fotografia di due giorni. It can give very high marks for the convenience and accessibility of transportation. What is more impressive, however, is that the friendly smiles and hospitality of the staff were received smoothly. The cleanliness and facilities of the rooms are quite good, but the rooms are not spacious. There are several tourist attractions around the hotel. It is also easy to access major tourist destinations. However, the most impressive thing that this hotel gave me was the hospitality and smile at front desk. Even though it is a short time, it is not easy to make a good impression like this. This is the case when soft power made the hard power shine more. The hotel's management strategy is impressive in that smart power was exercised. From the guest's point of view, there was nothing special, but it is a hotel that you can definitely leave with a good impression.

The room itself it's very nice, very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The location was great too, a very decent distance to all the attractions around by walk e.g Trevi Fountain.. alternatively bus stop is very near. Staffs were not that helpful as we have requested slippers few times and none was sent throughout a two day stay. One male staff at the front desk doesn't look at you when you're talking to them, which is very rude in my opinion.

The hotel is located very near to the Termini Station with easy access to most locations in Rome. The rooms have a bit of old-style charm and are spacious and comfortable, especially when travelling with multiple family members. The buffet breakfast at the top floor offers a wide variety of good-quality items, and is truly a highlight at this hotel. The service staff is friendly and attentive, and will rush to your aid when experiencing any difficulties. The cleaning staff helped us when we were having issues with the key, and the desk staff helped us change to a different room without any questions asked. Truly very friendly.

I appreciate how Julian ( the receptionist/ cleaner) welcomed us and did his best while we wait until he finished cleaning our room. We did arrive early so we understand why our room wasn’t ready yet. We have no complaints against him. He is very sweet and nice. However, the room is totally different from the photos posted on their site. The room space was tolerable but no A/C and there is a very weird smell in the bathroom and the second night was totally NO WIFI. I texted the contact number but no response. The shower area was small. I am a petite woman and I weight 120 pounds I barely cannot move a lot and I do not think a 6 foot male weighing more than 200 pounds won’t be able to move freely in the shower cubicle. Another thing that is a disappointment was 2 month and 1 month prior to our arrival We requested for an airport shuttle (since it was mentioned that they offer this service, which is also the major reason we picked this property to stay) the day before the arrival was the only time we found out from Andrea ( he’s a male) that we won’t be able to picked up since he said the shuttle is already full. We we’re really disappointed. If we knew about that hassle we should’ve arrange a different transportation or went to a different hotel that offer the airport pick up. I didn’t like how he sent us the message saying that we never communicated very well with him. Like what I mentioned, we were already trying to request for this 2 months and again a month before our arrival. Only last minute we found out that we’re on our own to figure it out how to get to Dada suites. The only good thing about this property was Julian. We like him a lot . The location was ok but there are better properties that have better location to tourist spots and excellent service.

I have never been to a place where a hotel feels like home. This is one of the amazing benefits of staying in Ostello Bello. The staff, bartenders, and night shift felt like absolute family by the end and I truly will never stay anywhere else while in Rome. Fravio (hope I am spelling that right) made my trip with his kind and friendly demeanor. All of the bartenders made me feel at home and welcome at all times. Treating me more than fairly in every citrcumstance. The rooms were clean and nice, with working showers and good facilities. I truly have nothing negative to say about my visit.

Lots of on site parking. Laundry service recommended across the hotel were amazing and friendly. Room was very small though. Blow dryer didn’t work. Not enough bench space in the bathroom. Overall cleanliness was great. The fridge was nice and cold. Although they don’t have a stocked fridge and you would have to go down to get bottled water. Variety of breakfast choices. Drinks were okay and coffee was from an instant coffee machine which was okay. Staff weren’t around often to ask for fresh coffee. Front concierge were friendly though and very helpful.
