We chose Rhinoceros for a 2 night stay in Rome prior to beginning a Mediterranean cruise. We could not have made a better choice! Nestled against Palatine Hill near the Circus Maximus, this was a quiet oasis, with several ancient monuments just steps away, and a close scenic walk across the bridge to the Travestere neighborhood for numerous bar and restaurant options. Our ultra- modern suite was luxurious and the service impeccable and friendly. We especially enjoyed quiet continental breakfasts in our room, with a Nespresso machine, grapefruit and fresh basket of pastries/bread with jam and lovely views overlooking an ancient arch. For those wishing to cook, the clever hideaway kitchen was well equipped. The rooftop bar afforded beautiful views of Rome and refreshing cocktails. We took a short taxi ride to Colosseum area, but could have walked, and later walked back from the Pantheon, a bit more of a walk.

We stayed here in Feb 2023. The staff were really welcoming upon arrival. We stayed in deluxe studio with balcony. The room was lovely, very clean, with a large comfortable bed, beautifully decorated and lovely large bathroom with shower. You order your breakfast each evening at your preferred half hour time interval between 7.30-10.30am for the following morning. You can order items at additional cost but we didn’t as you have plenty of items on continental options and there was so much we couldn’t eat it all. Breakfast is delivered to your room which was lovely. There is a fridge/mini bar in your room and bar on the lower level with honesty box. The room is cleaned daily to a high standard and all the staff were so helpful be it with local recommendations and directions, to booking restaurants or delivery of ice to your room etc. The hotel is in a great location, very close to Trevi, Spanish steps and Pantheon and around 20 minute walk to Colosseum. Highly recommend.

Struktur baru dan berfungsi, katil bersaiz king yang sangat baik dan tilam ortopediknya, bilik tidak bersih sempurna (tidak lama kemudian saya berjalan di sana, tanpa selipar, saya mempunyai kaki hitam) tetapi sangat berfungsi dan dilengkapi dengan semua perkhidmatan yang diperlukan untuk penginapan ( antara termasuk kemungkinan menyediakan kopi dan teh di dalam bilik). Restoran dengan pemandangan yang sangat baik, tetapi kakitangan yang tidak cekap dan tidak bersedia (saya tidak dapat memilih meja, menu yang dikurangkan dan terakhir tetapi tidak kurang juga saya memesan tartare daging dan saya dihidangkan beberapa keping daging dengan bawang, cendawan, pesto dan saya tidak tambahkan apa-apa ada yang lain ....... ringkasnya, asas memasak tidak ada !!! Lebih tepat jika mengatakan bahawa mereka sudah kehabisan stok dan saya akan mengambil sesuatu yang lain; carbonara adalah kredit yang sangat baik untuk kredit. Akhirnya, Perkhidmatan tidak ada, terdapat kira-kira 5 pelayan di antara maitre d 'dsb. Saya terpaksa menunggu 20 minit untuk menerima roti, *****tara kopi - kelelahan kerana tidak melihat siapa-siapa lulus - dibawa di kaunter dengan harga yang sederhana € 3 dikenakan kepada saya walaupun saya sedikit rungutan !!!! Maaf, saya lupa menyebut bahawa terdapat sekitar 6 pelanggan di seluruh restoran. (ringkasnya, tidak pernah lagi !! pengalaman restoran untuk dilupakan). Penyambut tetamu yang sangat baik, bersedia dan bersedia untuk menyelesaikan masalah; sebenarnya, dia segera memberikan selipar bilik dengan logo struktur dan memberi saya sarapan percuma. We stayed in room 415. It would be nice to think this room was a one off, but I suspect not. Don't book if you're a fully grown adult, you'll never get in the shower. If you do get in, bring a spare shower gel to hold the shower head still or it will swing randomly in all directions. The bed is the most uncomfortable ever experienced, and I travel a lot. Cleanliness, you can judge for yourself from the condition of the fridge (inside and out) and the chair provided. I would be embarrassed to rent out rooms like this - there's budget and then theres the Aphrodite!

Booked only cause of location. Super easy to get to by either metro or taxi. Small, cute lobby and friendly staff upon arrival. We didn’t stay in the main building so the bellmen took our luggage and walked us outside and around the corner to another building to where we were staying. The room was nice and had a great sitting area with an extra bed. Voucher was given to us for breakfast at the restaurant next to us which was really nice. My only issue was the sink and bathtub didn’t drain so I was literally standing ankle deep in my partners bath water during my shower. At checkout I told reception and she offered us a breakfast voucher but already had it and 10% off our next stay( but we won’t use that). It was a nice gesture. They did hold our bags while we shopped before leaving. Location is really good and they suggested a pizza place that was horrible lol. Didn’t like having to go around the corner to another building to our room. Overall it was ok and think over priced for the accommodation.

We enjoyed a 3 night stay at Rose Palace. The front desk gave us tired travelers a warm welcome that made us relax immediately. Our room overlooked the back of the American Embassy with guards stationed outside 24/7 so it was definitely safe. The hotel is a little off the beaten path from the usual touristy spots in Rome but in a very quiet area. The room was very clean. We had 3 in our room and the 3rd person had to sleep on a full size pull out couch. It was comfy for a pull out (you couldn’t feel the bar under the mattress) but unless you put up the bed every day the only place to sit were the beds. It had a small fridge and the bathroom was updated but limited on counter space around the sink. The buffet breakfast was geared toward a variety of tastes. Scrambled eggs, a variety of pastries, orange juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, cheese, meat, etc. When the weather was nice we enjoyed sitting outside in the garden. There is a tiny grocery store called Co-op around the corner where you can buy the basics. Also on the next block is an ATM in the alcove of the bank entrance that seemed secure to use. Reading older reviews we thought there was a restaurant in the hotel serving dinner but it turned out to just be a small bar. So we walked a couple of blocks north and ate at Cesarina and enjoyed a good meal and friendly staff. There were a lot of other restaurants to pick from in a 2-3 block radius. The ones on Via Vittorio Veneto appeared to be more expensive than the ones northeast of the hotel. There is a taxi stand a couple of blocks away and we used both Uber and inTaxi for rides back to the hotel.

This hotel is incredible. It's a little green haven away from the busy city! The hotel grounds are stunning and almost impossible to believe you are in such a crowded city full of buildings. The pool is a great touch as not many in Rome provide this. The standard of our room was great. the room was HUGE and we had a lovely balcony. Bathrooms have a bath and shower and also a double sink. The bed was ginormous and we slept wonderfully. The breakfast is lovely and just what we needed before our long days in Rome. The staff are really helpful and helped us get a taxi t o the airport. The hotel is tucked away but right next to the colosseum. It probably takes about 25 minutes to walk from here to the centre where the Pantheon and Trevi fountain are so if you don't mind walking it's perfect and you see so many beautiful ruins. If walking isn't for you, there are bus options and the trains which are fairly easy to use. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and so glad I found it!

This hotel was one of unforgettable hotel in my recently trips. I have to say it is located closed by Colosseum and is in a lovely community with gate which is safe. Across of street, there is a nice café for breakfast. Staff are nice. Guest house provides free coffee, yogurt, and hot water. As following, it was my experience.. 1) The hotel building is under maintenance (I don't know how long for the project), workers starts working around 8am. 2) ***There was no HOT SHOWER (I mean it ACTUALLY HOT) in our room ; basically, it was closed to body temperature (No steam during shower). For me, a girl, it was too cold to take shower. (Only 55 F degree at night ) We only took shower within 5 mins. 3) Another problem was, receptionist only at site worked from 8am - 2pm. Therefore, when we found out no hot shower, we had to wait until next day and left a note on the desk before we left hotel to start our schedule. (BTW, we also made an intl phone call to make sure hot shower working normally) 4) Wifi signal was too weak to connect it in our room, even router is installed outside of our room. Luckily, I bought e-sim unlimited data plan. Therefore, poor wifi connection wasn't a really bit deal for us. I cannot speak other facilities in other's room or other travelers' experiences. All I mentioned are based on my experience at this time.

Maximus resident was wonderfull. We booked a room and thr address was another building. It took us a long time to find the office because the address on the booking was different than the office. When we found the office, they gave us a room with 57 stair steps and no view and no lift. After complaining, thr switched us to another building and great place with kitchen and 10 star view of the collocium. We were very happy. Very great place. I would give 10 star if I could.

So, while the location is not in the centre of Rome, it is within 7 mins of the Circo Massimo Metro, which will get you to the vast majority of major attractions within 15-20 mins. However, for those of you who like me, love to walk and explore places, it's the perfect compromise. Literally, on the doorstop of attractions of such as Circo Massimo, Knights of Malta Keyhole, The Mouth of Truth and the Altare della patria. There are other sights to see while walking from the hotel. On arrival at the hotel, the staff there were fantastic in looking after me. I'd had a bit of a long walk, so I was looking a bit hot and flustered, so she immediately offered me water and assistance. The hotel itself was beautiful. It was really quiet and peaceful. The room and facilities were superb. I had a robe, slippers, and tea making facilities. Curiously there didnt appear to be a safe, but didn't need one so never asked any questions. The slight downside side was that there was no breakfast served. However, there is a cafe 100 metres down the road who do a lovely breakfast. As a solo traveller, it was too bad but a family may think differently. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard which would be perfect for breakfast or evening meals. I guess it must be a purely financial decision. The staff were particularly helpful and friendly. I have to govd credit to those on duty on 21st ans 22nd May. They were a credit to the hotel. In summary, a great hotel, great facilities, great value and wonderful staff.

BePlace Aventino è un delizioso b&b situato in una zona meravigliosa di Roma. La posizione tranquilla alle spalle del circo massimo e a due passi dalle terme di Caracalla ci ha permesso di scoprire una parte veramente interessante di Roma che non ci era mai capitato di esplorare nei soliti percorsi turistici. Il B&B è confortevole, ti fa sentire a casa, in un ambiente bello e luminoso, ristrutturato di recente, dotato di una serie di servizi non scontati per un b&b (come per esempio il frigorifero, il bollitore e la macchinetta del caffè in camera, il letto ampio e comodissimo e molti altri). L’host Andrea è di una gentilezza rara, sempre disponibile e pronto a venire incontro alle nostre esigenze. Lo consiglio vivamente!Quando tornerò a Roma, soggiornerò di nuovo in questo B&B.
