Hotel berhampiran Parco dei Fumetti, Rome

First of all we checked in at midnight and waited over an hour for the guy at reception to finish with ONE customer. The hotel room was old but reasonable for €70 a night; although the SAFE didn’t work and some double beds are two single beds put together. The hotel overall is clean but it’s in a pretty rough area with hardly anything open after 9pm. Now if the reason you are staying is for access to Rome then be prepared for a 25mins bus ride to a very grotty Metro station and then another 25 odd minutes to Termini - which is the centre of Rome. Uber doesn’t take orders from area, and quite frankly isn’t very good on Italy. BREAKFAST: there isn’t an eggs bar or anything that is cooked fresh in front of you for but there is a reasonable hot food selection and juices with fruit. I’d give it a 4/10 for breakfast. There aren’t irons in the room but you can iron clothes on the ground floor “ironing room”. The WORST part of the hotel was that the swimming pool, Spa and gym is not accessible for months due to renovations which given that it is so far from civilization leaves nothing to do at the hotel apart from walking the pretty dodgy surrounding streets. PS: parking is free but in a dark and small underground space with no valet.

It's great location near the airport. Breakfast was good. The bed is not comfortable but I will recommend the place

Siamo venuti ieri sera, 28 giugno 2023, insieme ad un gruppo di amici, a seguito di un matrimonio (gli sposi, che soggiornavano insieme a noi, ce lo avevano fatto come bomboniera: soggiorno + giornata in piscina). Siamo arrivati in struttura a mezzanotte passata e ci è stato comunicato solo in quel momento che il giorno dopo la piscina sarebbe stata chiusa per un evento privato esterno. Faccio la recensione per comunicare a chiunque abbia intenzione di soggiornate li, di far attenzione alla scorrettezza del personale e di quello si può chiamare proprietario, il signor Mancini, che anziché chiamarci per dirci che non avremmo potuto usare la piscina, hanno preferito dircelo quando ormai eravamo arrivati e non avevamo altre alternative. Ci hanno proposto di andare nella ”piscina” che ci trova all'ingresso, ma leggendo anche le recensioni negative sul sito si evince che in realtà è una fontana, sporca e nemmeno sarà controllata l'acqua.. detto questo sconsiglio di organizzare cose importanti in questo posto per evitare di ritrovarsi come i miei amici sposi: delusi di non aver potuto realizzare quello che avevano programmato con la struttura da tempo. Ah poi in tutto ciò hanno voluto 300€ per aver soggiornato (6 camere più colazione) quando alla fine noi siamo venuti solo per fare la giornata in piscina; da dire che siamo di Roma a saperlo Dormivamo a casa.

Ho soggiornato in questa struttura in occasione di una Laurea. Il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole, la struttura pulita, con annesso servizio di pulizia giornaliero della camera. Essendo un soggetto intollerante al lattosio ho trovato alternative valide per la colazione e il personale è stato estremamente gentile e accogliente. Rapporto qualità-prezzo ottima. La consiglio.

Honestly，my experience this hotel is a little bit lower than equivalent level hotel. The mattress in this hotel is not bad. However， unfortunately， it mattress gonna be only point I satisfy with it. The service is normal，but their equipment maintenance is concerning，there are several bulbs down in my room and the shower door in the bathroom seems hard to push. Most importantly，air conditioner in the room is not powerful enough which is a terrible infomation for tourist in this summer. The picture attached in this comment is it outside environment，it might be not clear enough， but I have to say it outside is too dark😂， but it is not a luxury hotel in city centre， therefore it is still acceptable . This hotel is generally good， but there are still large spaces that it can move forward to increase it customer satisfaction.

I will start from check in: This was easy, but the guy on the desk was rude and miserable. We were taken to our room by a guy who was slightly more pleasant. We were in Bernini 3. The room was spotlessly clean, but very very small, and dark. The mini bar was filled daily, as were the toiletries and towels, and the room was cleaned to a high standard, it also had awesome aircon. The down side was it’s general size and dungeon like feeling. The 2nd bed was a really thin “mattress” chair bed in alcove in front of the door to the balcony, which didn’t open fully, as the bed was in front of it. We asked for another mattress, as you actually fell through the one on it, which the hotel did for us. Overall the room was functional and clean, but not nice. I think looking at the website and Tripadvisor, the only room with no photos, which maybe due to the fact that you were unable to show how the room was. Breakfast was very nice and fresh made, and the man working there was very nice. The hotel was in the centre of everything, so is a great base, with the trevi fountain 1 minute away, and everything else within a 10-20 minute walk. Sorry for the 3 ranting, the room was terrible, but the hotel and position was great.

Only two stars but spotlessly clean. Lovely room and super shower room. Bed was firm but comfortable. Fridge in the room. Coffee machine and snack machine near reception. No lift. Room only. Area is a bit run down. Lovely park 100 metres away with pavement cafe/bar doing basic snacks. Would go there again

Sono certa che ognuno di noi abbia la propria scala di fattori per valutare se un posto e' bello o brutto ma che siano le persone il valore aggiunto. In questo hotel pulito, carino e molto comodo , vicino alla stazione di Roma Termini sono proprio le persone che fanno di un piccolo hotel, un punto di riferimento per i nostri viaggi a Roma. Paola della reception e' stata, ed è, la persona che ci ha seguito in fase di prenotazione e che si è fatta in quattro per aiutarci a proiettare le nostre fotografie su una parete, di una saletta allestita solamente per noi, un gruppetto di fotografi arrivati in città per un corso di fotografia di due giorni. Movie Movie Hotel has quite new facilities, not like the dated hotels in city center of Rome. It was only 3 minutes walk from metro A line station. The hotel upgraded me to top floor with a spacious room. Everything worked fine. The only complaint was the tiny shelf (not a table) next to the bed. I found not much space to put things next to bed. Other than that, seriously it was a good discovery for visiting Rome for future trips.

Lots of on site parking. Laundry service recommended across the hotel were amazing and friendly. Room was very small though. Blow dryer didn’t work. Not enough bench space in the bathroom. Overall cleanliness was great. The fridge was nice and cold. Although they don’t have a stocked fridge and you would have to go down to get bottled water. Variety of breakfast choices. Drinks were okay and coffee was from an instant coffee machine which was okay. Staff weren’t around often to ask for fresh coffee. Front concierge were friendly though and very helpful.
