Though we returned from Italy several weeks ago, not one day has gone by that I have not longed for the St. Regis Rome. They treated us like absolute royalty in honor of a very special occasion. The Imperial Room was stunning — a dream, really! The service was impeccable. So many surprise gifts: bouquets of flowers, bottles of Prosecco, balloons, scrumptious cakes and handwritten notes! We were absolutely wowed and I would not have changed a thing. Breakfast and dinner at Lumen were outstanding. Gorgeous setting, delicious food, attentive service. Do not miss the breakfast buffet! The St. Regis staff is extraordinary and kind, each and every one. We were so grateful to Mario (Concierge) for resolving an issue with our Vatican tour before we even arrived. It was enormously helpful. We appreciated the use of the courtesy car on two occasions, as well as the butler service for our morning coffee. I’ll never forget our stay. A Note to the GM: Bravo! You have achieved perfection. We were so touched by your kind congratulatory note, as well as the beautiful souvenir gift. I carried that big box onto the airplane as my carry-on item! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The location is perfect, near the Termini station which connects you everywhere you go. Termini station is not exactly safe as there are many homeless people camping and roaming around. We felt that the hotel was safe as the doors were locked and security guard is on duty to service the guests.

Just came back from a 5 night stay at this property. It recently underwent a complete renovation and is better than ever. The location in the Piazza Barberini is ideal and we were able to walk to almost every major attraction. Bus and Metro adjacent to the hotel and a taxi stand directly in front. The neighborhood is safe, clean, and filled with plenty of places to shop and eat. The hotel is immaculate and the staff are among the best I’ve ever encountered. Our room, with a large terrace, was spacious and well appointed. The bathroom was large and modern. I highly recommend this property and look forward to visiting it again soon.

We stayed in room 415. It would be nice to think this room was a one off, but I suspect not. Don't book if you're a fully grown adult, you'll never get in the shower. If you do get in, bring a spare shower gel to hold the shower head still or it will swing randomly in all directions. The bed is the most uncomfortable ever experienced, and I travel a lot. Cleanliness, you can judge for yourself from the condition of the fridge (inside and out) and the chair provided. I would be embarrassed to rent out rooms like this - there's budget and then theres the Aphrodite!

We enjoyed a 3 night stay at Rose Palace. The front desk gave us tired travelers a warm welcome that made us relax immediately. Our room overlooked the back of the American Embassy with guards stationed outside 24/7 so it was definitely safe. The hotel is a little off the beaten path from the usual touristy spots in Rome but in a very quiet area. The room was very clean. We had 3 in our room and the 3rd person had to sleep on a full size pull out couch. It was comfy for a pull out (you couldn’t feel the bar under the mattress) but unless you put up the bed every day the only place to sit were the beds. It had a small fridge and the bathroom was updated but limited on counter space around the sink. The buffet breakfast was geared toward a variety of tastes. Scrambled eggs, a variety of pastries, orange juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, cheese, meat, etc. When the weather was nice we enjoyed sitting outside in the garden. There is a tiny grocery store called Co-op around the corner where you can buy the basics. Also on the next block is an ATM in the alcove of the bank entrance that seemed secure to use. Reading older reviews we thought there was a restaurant in the hotel serving dinner but it turned out to just be a small bar. So we walked a couple of blocks north and ate at Cesarina and enjoyed a good meal and friendly staff. There were a lot of other restaurants to pick from in a 2-3 block radius. The ones on Via Vittorio Veneto appeared to be more expensive than the ones northeast of the hotel. There is a taxi stand a couple of blocks away and we used both Uber and inTaxi for rides back to the hotel.

Booked only cause of location. Super easy to get to by either metro or taxi. Small, cute lobby and friendly staff upon arrival. We didn’t stay in the main building so the bellmen took our luggage and walked us outside and around the corner to another building to where we were staying. The room was nice and had a great sitting area with an extra bed. Voucher was given to us for breakfast at the restaurant next to us which was really nice. My only issue was the sink and bathtub didn’t drain so I was literally standing ankle deep in my partners bath water during my shower. At checkout I told reception and she offered us a breakfast voucher but already had it and 10% off our next stay( but we won’t use that). It was a nice gesture. They did hold our bags while we shopped before leaving. Location is really good and they suggested a pizza place that was horrible lol. Didn’t like having to go around the corner to another building to our room. Overall it was ok and think over priced for the accommodation.

I selected this hotel based on the location and my particular travel plans. My room was in their second building down the street from the hotel; there did not seem to be many rooms over here and it was quiet. Fortunately, they had someone to help me to my room and to find the other building. My room itself was large and well appointed; various drinks were included at no additional cost as well as a few sweets. The breakfast is served on the top level of the hotel so I trekked down the street every morning and I found the staff at the restaurant to be good. I did not interact much with the desk staff (although someone randomly knock on my door one evening saying they were a staff member and asking if I needed anything, I would suggest they call the rooms if they are so inclined) and ended up being out and about most of the time. Overall, the location worked out well for me and appreciated the provision of drinks in the room that were very welcome after a day of touring. It was a bit of a splurge for me price wise but worth it.

This hotel is a great place a central point for all the attractions in Rome. Located within walking distance to Castel San Angelo, this hotel is an excellent starting point for your adventures in the city. There are many highly reviewed restaurants nearby which made it convenient at the end of the day when our feet no longer wanted to walk anymore. The rooms are clean, well decorated and have ample plugs for your electronics. The breakfast buffet provides a lot of choices and does not disappoint. Special thanks to Pierro who looked after our family and provided excellent customer service and attention to detail to ensure our day started off well with a great breakfast. One of the worst things that could happen on a vacation happened, I dropped my phone inside the taxi cab. You lose your ability to capture moments, get directions, and even make payments. Honorable mention goes to Michelle who works at the front desk. Despite her busy duties, she contacted the taxi cab company, contacted the taxi driver directly, and located my phone. The driver kindly returned to the hotel and my phone was retrieved. This occurred on our very last day in Italy, and it would have been a huge loss to return home without my phone. Thank you so much Michelle for your hard work and pretty much saving our memories. No doubt, this was a great choice, I’d stay here again without hesitation.

We loved this hotel. The reception was very friendly, efficient and informative. They booked taxis when requested, our room was ready early and stored our luggage on check out. The breakfast was superb, with alternative milks and an Asian theme, the first hotel which had stirfried vegetables on offer. There was also a gym and restaurant bar on site. We loved the common areas where we could sit down and get some air. There were vending machines available with food and drink too The beds were super comfortable and the bathroom and shower was lovely. The toiletries and slippers were very welcome. Great to have a tea and coffee making area. Snacks and free water were a very nice touch, as we had just arrived from a long train journey and didn’t need to trapse around the shops. Great to have a mini fridge. Plenty of sockets for our devices. All the staff we came across, were very friendly which gave the hotel a warm feel. We met some other travellers the next day and they were not having the great experience that we were. We are planning another trip to Rome at some point and will definitely stay here again. A great location. Big thanks to IQ Rome 🙂

We stayed 4 nights and Friday and Saturday were the worst. Staff were very nice and helpful (they had the AC filter changed when it smelled funny and unit said, “change filter”). But that didn’t help the noise. :( I really liked the mattress; my husband, not so much. It was the 1st bed that had a box spring as well as mattress. Room was quite small, and only one small garbage can. Did have a fridge, and the strangest thing, a 1st for us, a TV incorporated into the mirror in the bathroom (reception was very bad though!). Shower was kinda cool, with spraying jets and rain shower, and changing lights. These 2 things were a bit excessive and really not necessary. There is a lift which is really good for heavy suitcases. But beware! No breakfast included! They advertise that they have breakfast, but you have to pay, and it’s not even in the same building. Rome is very expensive, and finding a place with a good location (this was right across the street from the Opera House and close to everything you’d want to see in Rome) is tough, but if you don’t mind a small room with a noisy street, this place does work. Staff are only there part-time: usually 8-4 or 5 during the day. We saw a number of people coming in after hours and had problems getting their rooms. Housekeeping is great!

TV has a couple of English channels, including BBC News and NHK World. Bathroom clean and had a standing shower. Window looked out over Opera house. Very quiet at night as road not heavily trafficked. Hotel is very close to Termini Station and easy walking distance from the Colossium and Trevi Fountain. Just be warned, there are around 20 steps to get into the hotel in case you have mobility issues. Only small complaint was that the bed was a bit hard, but soon got used to this after putting a blanket down to lie on. All in all, we had a great 5 nights here and would choose to use this hotel again.

We are a family of 3 and stayed for 3 nights at Demetra. The room was clean and modern and had good TV signal which we could get english channels on. The only down side was there was no mirrors other than the one in the bathroom so this made it difficult when getting ready but worked round it. The air con just needs to be requested from reception but this was done with no bother at all. Breakfast was good and staff were attentive. The receteam were also helpful The location was great. Everything within a 15-30 walk. We didn't use any public transport.
