Penginapan Pullman di Shanghai

Hotel was decent. Clean and in a good location. I got an executive room so I could enjoy the lounge. The tea was ok but very limited fo snacks. There was wine which was a bonus. Happy hour food had a decent selection but the actual food was not great. Dry noodles, not great sausages and sauerkraut. The mushroom soup was good and the wine and cheese a fruit selection was decent. Not sure I would pay tha much extra for tha type of room again compared to other hotels. The seemed to have a bar tender ready to serve up any drink but I wasn’t in a party mood

The rooms were fine and generally satisfactory. However, the amenities, particularly the gym and sauna, are extremely dated and borderline unclean, which was disappointing. Service overall was poor and did not meet expectations—you can easily receive better service at a local 3-star hotel. That said, the housekeeping staff were genuinely kind and pleasant, which I appreciated. There was also continuous renovation noise during the day, as the rooms next to mine were under construction. In addition, there was a strong chemical smell present. I was not informed about these disturbances in advance, which significantly impacted my stay. As a nice perk I did however get a late check out at 2pm

Plus: location is opposite Shanghai railway station, less than 100m from exit 5 stair. Staff at reception is welcoming. Comfy bed, two pillows and a shorten bolster. Curtain can be remotely controlled. Good variety of breakfast items. Many different types of equipment in the gym (almost full set). About 20m swimming pool Minus: No bidet (thought a 5 Stars hotel would have this since it is very common). There is only 1 international channel-CNN, the rest is Chinese. The staff working at the Concierge doesn't give a welcoming aura

We had a pleasant stay at Pullman Shanghai Qingpu Excellence. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well-maintained (5/5), which made our stay very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful (4/5), always ready to assist when needed. The amenities (4/5) were good and suitable for families — especially the pool and breakfast options. However, the location (3/5) felt a bit far from the main attractions and city center, so traveling to and from places took some extra time. Overall, it’s a great choice for families looking for a clean, comfortable, and relaxing stay with good service.
