I recently stayed at Pullman Shanghai Central and had a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. The reception team stood out right from check-in — everyone was warm, attentive, and professional, making the whole process smooth and welcoming. To my delight, I was even offered a complimentary room upgrade, which was such a lovely surprise and made my stay extra special.
The room itself was fantastic — spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable, with everything kept spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The location is absolutely ideal too: it’s incredibly convenient, with plenty of great restaurants and shopping malls just a short walk away, making it easy to explore and get around the city.
Overall it was a fantastic stay that exceeded expectations. Great service, comfortable accommodation, and an unbeatable location — I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai!

I really enjoyed my time here! The hotel is conveniently located for getting around, but the real standout was the service—particularly Ms. Felicia, who truly understands customer needs and resolved everything with speed and a smile. The rooms are spotless, the vibe is welcoming, and it suits both holidaymakers and business travelers perfectly. A very recommendable place, and I'm already planning my next visit!

Not the best place to stay. Me and my friend travel a lot and visit more than 50 hotels every year. Based on my experience I wouldn’t say it’sworth its money. We stayed at another Pullman hotel before and it was incredible but this one is one of their worst hotels. Definitely not the same level as in other countries. No English speaking staff at the hotel. Web we checked in and got our room we saw it’s was dirty with cigarette ashes next to the window. We had to ask them to clean our room again.
Next morning we tried to order breakfast and it took us more than 1 hour to just order and then to wait and realise they didn’t understand what we wanted to order and mixed everything up and even added meat to our dishes where it shouldn’t be and we don’t eat meat. They tried to solve the issue several times but somehow every time they brought our food it was wrong.
The whole experience was very stressful. Thanks trip for trying to solve this. Although the hotel couldn’t help, trip offered some refund for this inconvenience. The hotel said they have a gift for us when we come back to collect our suitcases. Funny to find out the gift they offered for this whole inconvenience is a bottle of sparkling water. The location is not the best too, there are so many options of Chinese hotels that can offer much more for less so don’t make your choice only because it’s Pullman as we did.

Location was excellent. Nice environment. Just beside roll of shops & restaurants. Especially thanks to hotel front office Mr. 小李 and Ms. Lily for helping us with the delivery couriers.

Overall had an excellent stay with staff being very nice and Manisha the housekeeper doing great job in maintaining the rooms clean. Sadly fallen ill during my stay there as the aircon appears faulty. Had a musky metallic smell in room with no windows. Would need to fix facilities.

The room itself was spacious however and also had station 1 min walk away. Would be nice to have bigger supermarkets nearby but food places are available closely and a mini supermarket. Convenient.

I had a great stay overall and would come back again after the renovations are completed.

The staff were very friendly and always greeted me, which made me feel really welcome. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day — fresh towels and a nicely made bed. I also appreciated being allowed to check in early (with a charge), which was very helpful since I arrived early.
The location is super convenient, close to the MRT and directly connected to a mall.
A couple of small issues: the room was a bit dusty at first, and I wasn’t informed about the ongoing renovations. The drilling noise was quite disruptive when I was trying to rest.
Overall still a very pleasant stay!

Hotel location is excellent, next to a large shopping mall and supermarket. Staff in general is very helpful and friendly. The 2 room apartment is spacious. The only thing I would recommend for improvement is the maintenance as we found that the balcony door is out of order and could not be locked. Also the water pressure of shower tap is quite low and can be improved. But overall our stay in this hotel is very satisfactory and enjoyable.

Unique stay in a secluded area of Phuket. The room was very spacious and mostly clean (although a gecko or two managed to get in). Noises of nature were particularly loud after a rainy day. Pool was beautiful, breakfast was bountiful. Nearby beach is a plus although it wasn’t safe to swim when we were there. Buggies to bring you to and from the room are fun but the waiting around can get annoying. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. the Komodo dragons in the lobby lake area were a nice surprise!

The location is perfect for a beach holiday. You just need to cross the road to get to the Karon beach, near the hotel there are Karon village to walk and to feel real Thailand. The hotel is very big itself, has amazing spa and gym, several pools. The restaurant Thai Thai was the most delicious food we have tried in Phuket, so sorry that there are not quite a lot of customers, the food is fantastic and not crazy expensive. Also a very cute and truly very kind that hotel has peacocks, chickens, cats and they all just live in the hotel.
