First time staying. Great restaurant and pool. Overall excellent property we will stay at again.

By far one of the worst solo hotel experiences ever. There were ink stains on the sheet set. I did not notice them until the next day and they had clearly been washed, but the stains were left. It wasn’t a big deal for me, but while n training class a Kuka the manager called to tell me I would have to pay for sheet because they have blue shampoo or something on them. I informed her that they were stains and you can see the sheets had been washed. She didn’t care Inhad to pay and she never even mentioned how much. I informed her that she would get paid, but I will need pictures so that I can justify you charging my companies credit card for sheets. At this time I requested that my sheets be left so that I can take pictures, she said ok. So I left training to go take pictures of the hotel bed sheets. When I got to the front desk the general manager had the sheet changed and would not share the pictures with me, but for some reason agreed to share them with my finance director. So I sent over this email to finance requesting that they request the photos from her and why, so that I have justification for the cost. This was 8 hours ago and still no response.

We loved the historical district &everything was close in travel timethe pool was closed because of health departments on Friday but the 8 and 12 year Olds went with mom dad and 82 year old great grampa to go cart track it was alot of fun only a 5 hour trip from tinley pk Illinois

My spouse and I were in the Utica area over a weekend in December 2021 celebrating my brother's birthday (at the Dave & Buster's next door) and had the opportunity to spend at Saturday night at this hotel. We arrived at around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon and were able to check in. Our check-in process went smoothly, our room (#422) was clean and comfortable, and we were able to eat a decent breakfast the following morning. No major complaints. The faucet in our bathroom was really loose but it was just a sign of the hotel's age. One thing about our room that we did notice was that we couldn't open the blinds all the way up. Something about the chain mechanism only allowed us to have our blinds open halfway, which was slightly annoying. I appreciated being able to use one of the business center computers to surf the Internet. This hotel has an indoor pool which looked okay, but we didn't use it because there was no hot tub (we always love being able to use hot tubs in hotel pool areas... slightly disappointed that this hotel didn't have one). A big frustration, though, was the noise level... nothing that the hotel staff can do much about. There are signs saying that the public areas are ”closed” after 10 p.m., but I don't know how much that can be enforced. There were some loud guests on our floor late at night as we were trying to get to sleep which was frustrating, but after I said something to them in the hall, they quieted down. Overall, the hotel itself was just fine (despite the loud patrons) and I'd have no qualms about staying there again.

Front desk clerk Buba almost ruined our entire family reunion. Thanks to IHG corporate and two hours of work around to bypass Buba’s “policy” of not allowing secondary guests listed on the reservation to check in, the trip was a success and we enjoyed the hotel and the other friendly and helpful desk clerks. Supposedly Buba was acting at her managers direction, when I called the manager had “just stepped out” but never returned my call at all over the three day time from I was waiting for it. Again IHG corporate assisted and the manager and desk clerk Buba did not. My secondary guests were listed in the reservation and they had copies of the reservations with their names on it, but Buba stated it was not the policy to allow the secondary guests to check in due to fraud concerns. IHG corporates stated to me that IHG guests collect points for stays and can use the point to book rooms for family and friends as long as the other person is listed on the reservation (they were) there should be no problems. They also stated that they validate my account and attempted to assure Buba that there was no fraud. Anywhooo Buba (and the manager?) need some coaching and education. I am a diamond member and never had that happen at any hotel and hope it never happens again. I’d rate Buba and manager 0/5 but the other workers and the hotel itself are 5/5.

The hotel was nice and comfy. Beautiful site from our window.

The hotel okay the carpet where my room was located did not lay flat needed to be tightened. I almost tripped on it a couple times while walking to my room. There was no coffee for the coffee maker For next morning so I tried to call the front desk but the phone in the room did not work. The man at the desk was aware of the phone not working and stated he would get coffee for me which never happened. Saturday evening you could smell cannabis in the hall which was a non smoking hotel. Sunday morning during check out I went to the front desk to tell them the toilet was not working and to get a cart to load my car, I did not find anyone at the desk or at the cafe. When I went back into the room after loading my car to check make sure I didn’t leave anything the bathroom floor was flooded but I could not call the desk since my phone wasn’t working and no one was around in the halls. This hotel needs employees that can be around to help it’s guests! Also phones in the room are mandatory! For the amount I paid for two nights I could have stayed somewhere better and at least had coffee! I won’t be staying at a Marriott any time soon!
