PPengguna TetamuOur one night stay at this ryokan was marvelous. It's right in front of a bus stop which was very convenient. They had someone waiting to welcome us at the entrance and made us feel very welcomed from the moment you step in.
The room was beautiful and cozy during January winter. All toiletries were readily available so there's no need to bring anything apart from yourselves and some change of clothes. The private onsen was amazing with a scenery to boot.
Dinner and breakfast served was delicious and very authentic Japanese cuisine that highlights the natural flavors. We couldn't get enough of the food. Our friendly server (might be Yuka. Forgot her name so sorry) did an amazing job giving an explanation of each of the dishes (in Japanese)
The only complaints we have were that they do not have coffee in the room, you can get it from the lobby bar with coupons provided, but we weren't too fond of getting out of the room early in the morning. The other one was that awkwardly situated urinal that's right in front of the toilet so it is in your face if you lean forward while you're doing your business.
Overall, it's value for money and would love to go back there and perhaps more than one night stay the next time.

服務超出預期 入住期間感覺是公主回家了 還以為這就是日式服務標配 結果後面住了其它酒店 才發現強羅花壇的服務是遠超同價位的其它酒店
就是房間比較老舊了 淋浴花灑也很古早 不過打掃的比較乾淨

PPengguna TetamuYama No Chaya has its own beauty and serenity. I personally don’t find it hard to locate - 2 bus stops away from Hakone Yumoto station + a 5 minutes walk are worth the stay. (Bus service stopped for one of the days due to bad weather and we walked for 20 minutes to Hakone Yumoto Station - all good)
The team is very hospitable - they also have some English and Chinese speaking staff otherwise simple English is not an issue to communicate. Our butler - Sandip always carry a smile with him, and he ensured we are very well taken care of. Every morning, the team will prepare heat pack and umbrellas for us (it was raining and snowing). In the evening, they made tea and prepared snacks (vary from mochi to sushi) for us upon our returned.
The room we booked is Yamano Ichigo (main wing) - just nice for 2. The viewing platform was where we relaxed every evening and we soaked our tiredness away in our very own private onsen at the basement. Despite of having our own private onsen, I still went to visit 3 other public onsen within the Ryokan - you will not be disappointed.
Our room came with daily breakfast and we added on dinner for 1 night. I must say the chef and culinary team put in their passion and effort to prepare all the dishes. It’s not common for a visitor like me to taste Kaisekai cuisine which I enjoyed very much. You need to take time and an empty stomach to full experience it :) However, my partner and I weren’t used to heavy breakfast and our butler noticed it - we get to change to western style for the rest of the stay which was equally delicious. We are thankful that we minimised food wastage.
Overall, we felt pampered during our stay at Yama no Chaya :) I will return again in the future when I visit Hakone.

AANASTASIIA_BERDNIKOVAThis hotel is a paradise in the mountains of Hakone! Traditional style of the rooms - it feels like you are living in a Japanese family. We were prepared a traditional dinner, which was served in our room. It was very tasty and varied! The hotel has 3 onsen: 2 - private, 1 - public. We visited only the private ones (you need to book a time in advance at the reception upon check-in, the visit time is 30 minutes). It was wonderful! The hotel also provides a transfer from and to the nearest train stations. The rooms are clean, cozy, we slept on tatami under soft blankets. The hotel has a relax room. With massage chairs and a very quiet atmosphere. We stayed in this room after visiting the onsen and got great relaxation. And you are also given national clothes for rest and sleep. It is very beautiful and cute. Breakfasts were also in kaiseki style - varied and unusual. The hotel staff is very kind and friendly. this hotel allows tattoo baths. great experience, thank you very much! want to come back again!

SSky B.My husband and I stayed at Hotel Okada for 2 nights for our honeymoon, and it was a truly wonderful experience.
• Honeymoon Surprise: The staff provided excellent service and even prepared a thoughtful welcome gift for our honeymoon, which made us feel very special.
• The Room & Amenities: Our room was spacious, spotless, and very quiet. The highlight was definitely the private open-air bath in the room—so relaxing and peaceful. We were also pleasantly surprised to find complimentary skincare sets and facial masks provided in the room. It shows great attention to detail.
• Dining: Both the breakfast and dinner buffets offered a wide variety of delicious options.
• Location: Getting to the train station is easy with the shuttle bus that runs on a reliable schedule. If you prefer to walk, it's a pleasant 19-minute walk.

TTan Siew LayThe ryokan style room was clean and cozy, but a bit small for a family of 5. Buffet-style dinner and breakfast were decent, with selection of both Japanese and Western options.
Staff were very polite and helpful, front desk staff speaks good English too.
Good location for self drive travellers, near to attractions like Owakudani and Open Air Museum.
The public bath (both indoor and outdoor) were great. Outdoor female onsen had the Mt Fuji view. Clear instructions to use the public bath.
We had a really enjoyable stay here.

PPengguna TetamuWe got to the hotel in the beautiful location just before 3pm and we got given a little tour of the place and then got shown to our room. The staff are very friendly and do their best to speak English. A lovely lady was in charge of our hospitality throughout our stay and she first showed us that there is a public hot spring and a private hot spring and asked us if we would like to book a time to use the private hot spring, we booked a time as we checked in but then we didn’t use it as we were happy with our private hot spring in the room. We also booked a time for dinner and they arrived at that time
Promptly with A LOT of food. We also got a choice for a staple food and we chose some steak which was high quality and delicious, as well as the lobster (on the menu it said grilled prawn but a lobster is what came and it was delicious). We ordered a few beers and a bottle of wine with room service and it always came quickly and was nice and cold.
The private hot spring is absolutely boiling but it’s a good experience and there’s ice water provided which helps.
Breakfast came at 8.30am and it was also huge! It didn’t come with coffee but I ordered some and that was easy enough.
The lady who served our food explained every dish and how to eat it and she was always extremely friendly and attentive.
Would recommend!

ААнна БучокOverall, the impression is positive, and we thank the staff for their care.
However, the ryokan is quite old, and inside all the rooms there is a smell of age, which makes it not very pleasant to stay there.
The Japanese food is very specific — it’s just my personal taste, but I couldn’t have breakfast or lunch there.
Considering that this was the most expensive “hotel” during our 14-day trip around Japan, our expectations were a bit higher.
In any case, we thank the staff for this unique experience.

Очень понравились условия размещения, просторные номера со всеми удобствами. Красивые юкаты можно брать бесплатно у лифтов на этаже. Можно заварить себе травяной чай. Национальный ужин кайсеки длится полтора часа, включены напитки, такие как свежайшее пиво, сливовое вино, виски, сëчу, сакэ, джин, соки, лимонады. Можно выбрать время, с 17:30 или с 19:30.
В онсене помимо самих источников есть джакузи, сауна и холодная ванна. В холодильнике есть холодный морс и лед-мороженое.
Остались только самые приятные впечатления от посещения

PPengguna TetamuВеликолепное расположение, 5 минут до станции поезда (который правда находится в горах, так что если есть возможность, то переправьте тяжелый багаж сервисом доставки). Захватывающий вид на горы, деревья и другие рёканы. Великолепные общие онсены, везде цветущие деревья, лепестки красиво опадают при ветерке, идеально чтобы расслабиться в источнике и насладиться видами. Прикрепила фото платного приватного Онсена на открытом воздухе, бесплатные в два раза больше по размеру и такие же красивые. Комната традиционная, аккуратная и светлая. Завтраки и ужины просто шикарные, очень много различной еды предлагают, и все выглядит настолько красиво насколько и вкусно. Каждый день приносят разные юката, так же заменяют белье и убирают номер. Сам отель не выглядит как традиционный снаружи, но внутри просто идеальный, тут была самая шикарная курилка которую я когда либо видела.
