KKyriosThis hotel received international travellers. Best is its next to famous street food… i do really enjoy the stay here. And its clean too. Just i don’t really like the smoke smell in the elevator.. the rest is fine… hope i will return here again… and i will still stay at this hotel.

MMorgane MellaMy stay in Sheng was delightful. They even have a coffee shop inside the hostel and the cappucino is delicious. Xinyi is such a kind girl, she was in charge when I was there and she was so helpful. Thank you so much for your hospitality! Highly recommend if you pass by Xining.

VValentinaevaEverything was fine for me, it has good beds, good bathroom, that is to share with other rooms, so it logic that is not always as clean as one would like, but they deep clean everything, everyday
Location is very convenient and close to the train station, and they serve delicious ******* food right across the street. Markets are near by too
And they have the most cute kittens to hug

PPengguna TetamuI booked a non-smoking room, but the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The smell in the bathroom was very strong and extremely irritating to my nose.
The room was not clean. The floor was dirty, and I found 1-2 small cockroaches. The bathroom was poorly designed and not properly separated into sections.
The bed was very hard, and I woke up with back pain in the morning.
There is no elevator in the building-only stairs. I had to carry my large 29-inch suitcase down from the 4th floor to the 1st floor by myself, which was very inconvenient.
I originally booked 5 nights, but I had to cancel the remaining 4 nights because I simply could not continue staying there
Overall, a very disappointing experience 😌

WWorld Traveler JThe hotel is located right above a night market, very convenient. The room was spacious. But other than these two things, I have very little good things to say. They never once made our beds, only took out the garbage and gave us bottled water each day. They also give the smallest rolls of toilet paper that looks like it’s a left over roll (but it’s actually how they make it there). The shower did not have any antislipping or safety handles on the wall, so one of us fell in the shower because the entire bathroom gets wet when you shower. The TV was not working either but we don’t really want to watch anything so we didn’t bother with fixing it. I would not stay here again.

RrobinmetralThe two people managing this hotel are very helpful, despite the language barrier. They went out of their way to find a laundry shop for us, and made sure we were OK with the room.
The room itself is a bit dated, but functional. The main downside for us was the lack of ”real towel” (only single use towels are provided.
For light sleepers, keep in mind that the popular night market street is just below. It can be noisy until quite late in the night.
Otherwise, the location is ideal: close to many eateries, the main mosque, and convenient transportation.

RRinvON ARRIVAL, ALWAYS CHECK THAT THE ROOM RATE FOR THE DAY IS LOWER THAN WHAT YOU BOOKED. THEN CANCEL YOUR ONLINE BOOKING. 😄 Bathroom was not quite clean and you can smell the slight unpleasant odour from the drainage. Second day, the room was not made up and water bottles not replenished. The water from the water cooler machine in the lobby was terrible and tasted like water with chemicals in it. It being September, quite cool, but the hotel would only turn on the power for the room AC in the evening, and turn off your AC main power around midnight. Fortunately it was not hot in the room from midnight to the morning. But I have never stayed at a hotel that turns off your AC power at midnight!
