The hostel is a welcome respite from the chaos of Cairo. Note that there are two floors, 1 and 4, but are connected by a vintage elevator as well as a stairwell. Breakfast provided each day was sincerely appreciated and delicious, made fresh for each person. The beds are comfortable and equipped with a small light and a power outlet to charge your devices. There is a common area to hang out with others and meet people. Some of the fittings are broken in the bathrooms but you will get by fine.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Oasis Chinese Guesthouse in Egypt, and my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, Kevin, the owner, and his wife made me feel incredibly welcome. Their warm hospitality and genuine kindness created a home-like atmosphere that made my stay truly memorable. The guesthouse itself is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering all the necessary amenities for a relaxing visit. The peaceful surroundings and authentic charm of the property perfectly complement the friendly service provided by Kevin and his wife. Overall, my stay at Oasis Chinese Guesthouse was delightful, thanks to the personal touch and exceptional service of its wonderful hosts. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Egypt.

Amazing stay especially Ahmed he is very nice his language is very good

I had a pleasant stay at Montana Hotel. The two young women at reception were fantastic—very helpful, attentive, and made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. The hotel itself is comfortable enough and in a great central location, ideal for exploring downtown Cairo. One small detail to note: the lift doesn’t have floor numbers displayed in English, so it’s useful to know that the hotel is located on the 7th floor. Overall, a good value stay with excellent service at the front desk.

We had a very good stay overall. Considering Cairo standards, the apartment was clean enough and comfortable. The neighborhood and location were excellent, with plenty of great restaurants and cafés nearby. It’s also very close to the Nile—about a 7-minute walk. There are restaurants on boats along the river where you can enjoy a meal while taking in the view, and you can even go on a Nile cruise from the same area. Honestly, we didn’t need to take a taxi at all for dining or cafés. There’s also a really nice café right at the corner with excellent coffee—I highly recommend it. The building itself was very quiet, and we didn’t hear any noise from neighbors at all. The only noise was from traffic on the street (cars and motorbikes), which is normal and not really a downside of the apartment. The building had a security guard, and we were even able to leave our luggage with him after check-out, which made it much easier for us to explore the city before our flight. Finally, special thanks to Michael, the host. He was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. No matter what time we messaged him, he always responded and guided us with any questions we had.

The hotel is quite close to the Egyptian museum, The facility is okay - The place is quite old but clean. The hotel staff here are very nice especially Mr Anas he was quite energetic and really looking forward to service + friendly I didn't expect that he was invites me to the lunch together with them ** note** for someone who cannot sleep with the noise - the hotel is quite close to the Egyptian Street which is always honking the horn. Solution ** ust bring an earplug ( The one that you would receive on in airplane ) and everything's gonna be fine In conclusion this hotel is reasonably priced for this quality. if you don't expect for something luxury but friendly , This hotel could be your choice

Hotel was good overall , considering its price and location. The entrance is actually at the back alley from the main street but it is not dangerous even for ladies. You will need to take the lift up to the 5 th floor reception where they will greet you. Breakfast was served at their ‘restaurant’ and cannot be taken away. They serve at 8am , which I think is a little late since many tours starts around that time too. Breakfast is hearty so we enjoyed it very much ! For the room, it is ok. The building is old so we can’t complain too much. Room is clean and big , so is the toilet. We were also told that we have to leave our keys at the reception when we head out for the day. Then when we come back we can collect the keys again at the reception. Not ideal since we planned to leave some cash and some valuables in the room. We had no problem with our items but you may consider this if you are concern about privacy of your property. Overall we had a good stay.

When we arrived, it was a little difficult to find the building, because there was no sign of Lucky Hostel in the lobby. However a very persistent man outside, insisted that the building with sign “El otel”, is the correct building. We trust him and we entered. Another problem, it looked like to use the elevator to 4th floor, we must have access card. We wait for about 5 minutes and fortunately there was a man came down, and we asked his help to tap on the elevator using his card. Other than that, my husband & I were happy to stay in this hostel. Our room was so big and with sofa too!! Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. Hot shower was very pleasant in cold morning. And we were very happy that the staff allow us to put our luggage while we were away to Luxor. We stay for total of 4 nights and we were allowed again to put our luggage while we went shopping, because our flight was in the middle of the night.

Kami datang dalam perjalanan yang agak spontan di mana kami tidak merancang setiap hari sebelum ini, kami menempah hotel yang dirasakan baik untuk kami, di lokasi yang baik dan memutuskan bahawa kami akan meminta cadangan apabila berada di sana. Kami disambut dengan sangat mesra oleh Ahmad, dan mempunyai bilik yang besar dan cantik. Dari hari pertama, kami diberi banyak nasihat berdasarkan bajet dan minat kami: Amr memberi kami pengalamannya dan menawarkan kami untuk merancang hari-hari kami untuk memanfaatkan masa kami sepenuhnya: kami tidak hanya melawat banyak lokasi, kami juga mempunyai pemandu dan melakukan sesuatu mengikut urutan dan setiap jam. Ini menjadikannya pengembaraan yang sangat sibuk dan menyeronokkan! Selain daripada bantuan perjalanan, semua orang sangat bermurah hati di hotel, kami ditawarkan teh, kopi dan makanan Mesir untuk mencuba, dan mendapat menaiki teksi ke lapangan terbang untuk pulang. Mereka sentiasa memastikan kami selamat dan mempunyai sebarang soalan yang dijawab. Saya berasa sangat dialu-alukan ke Mesir dan Kaherah dan saya berharap untuk kembali dan berjumpa mereka lagi😄 Terima kasih kepada Ahmad, Amr dan semua orang! Satu nasihat: kadangkala pada peta iPhone apabila anda menulis nama hotel, ia boleh menjadi sedikit bercampur-baur, pastikan apabila anda melihat destinasi itu di Jalan Sherif Pasha tetapi juga: di antara Jalan 26 Julai dan Jalan Adly. Hotel ini juga bertentangan dengan kedai kek bernama El Abd Patisserie. Celeste :)
