"Unfortunately, the hotel's services are poor. We requested garbage bags and waited for over 12 hours before they arrived. The internet service is also subpar. Regrettably, the shower water doesn't flow down the drain but instead splashes out of the bathroom door into the hall. The water pressure from the sink is also weak. We requested ironing services, but the staff didn't seem to know what they were doing, and everyone gave their own opinion. This was my first and last time staying there."

"The hotel is conveniently located next to Liberation Square, just a 2-3 minute walk away. The breakfast was good, with a wide variety of vegetables and fruits, and the red chili peppers 🌶️ were wonderfully spicy. The room was just right for two people and two large suitcases. You can see the swimming pool from outside the room. About 100 meters from the hotel, there's a wide main road. Cross the road, and you'll find the Old Egyptian Museum. Walking in the opposite direction leads you to Liberation Square, where there's an obelisk. I believe there's a metro station nearby, but taxis are so cheap in Cairo that we didn't bother looking for it."

"The hotel, while a bit old, is well-maintained with a stylish decor. Its location right on the Nile offers beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Avoid the coffee in the hotel lobby – it's almost 50 RMB a cup, ridiculously overpriced. You're better off crossing the street to Oliver for coffee instead. Also, tipping doesn't seem to work well in Cairo. I slipped the front desk a tip and ended up with a room with a very mediocre view. There are no supermarkets or convenience stores near the hotel, and not many dining options either. You have to take a taxi everywhere, making it feel less convenient than staying on the opposite bank. The hotel is on a major road, and crossing it can be quite daunting. On a positive note, the Byredo toiletries provided are excellent."
