Cari Hotel 2-Star di Naha, Okinawa

It only takes one to ruin a stay, but this time two selfish neurotic old Chinese speaking women came into room very late at night making so much noise talking and messing with baggage. Upon mentioning disturbance one old woman got angry. That same woman continued to keep me up until 2.16am messing with zipped baggage in bed and dropping heavy objects on the wood above my bed. Total disregard that it was very late and I believe it to be done with deliberation as it was continued for hours after I complained. Then after check in an african woman let her boyfriend in the women's dorm and stand obstructing doorway talking and coming in room. That said african woman and boyfriend were sitting in women's only powder room for hours. Clearly not respecting boundaries yet no one said anything. African woman put all her stuff in my area of room, which I kept clear, and not near her own bed. A very annoying and disruptive night. Not the hostels fault. Usually everything is peaceful here

ReTime located just shy away from Asahibashi station and a perfect walking distance from KOKUSAI DORI shopping street, tourist spots and various supermarkets. The hotel offers capsule rooms, family rooms and a cabin themed room where you are assigned either a top or bottom bunk. You also receive free slippers and borrow sleepwear during your stay. The hotel also offers complimentary basic amenities such as toothbrush, comb, shower caps, razors if you need them. At the lobby, there’s a beautiful wooden set of keyed lockers to choose to put away your shoes upon entering the building. The common space is cleaned very frequently, almost every few hours (Japan's standards will make you rethink your definition of cleanliness) and where guests can eat and drink (water and additional soft drinks provided, there's also a vending machine with a nice selection of snacks). The space very pleasantly airy with lots of sun, and overall a nice place to work, snack or relax as the cabin and capsule rooms have no windows. I loved the creativity as you are essentially sharing a bunk bed with privacy that’s provided with a sliding screen door. It’s decent, with adequate room for luggage but few may struggle if the luggage is quite large as the aisle can be a bit narrow. This can be reflected from your neighbour next door at times~! I found overall it was very comfortable and I was assigned the top bunk during my long stay. The bed is clean, with complimentary cleaning on the 7th day (10am-3pm), and there’s a decent sized desk. The privacy of the cabin room is definitely the main highlight about ReTime if one wishes for privacy but reduced budget than a standard hotel room. A slight issue with this kind of arrangement is shutting the screen doors may end up being noisy (the screen door naturally reduces soundproofing). However having stayed for quite some time, I found the bed and room overall very comfortable and decently spaced. If I stayed longer, this would not be an issue as the bed was quite spacious personally. The shower option as opposed to the public onsen baths is much appreciated as 1) some women are not comfortable with the public baths, and 2) when that time of the month happens...this would reassure future guests planning to come to ReTime. The additional complimentary ammeties such as toner, cleanser and lotion were surpising and great to use also. Some crticisms regarding the stay: upon entering, I was told check in was at 4pm, which is quite later than average . I found a coin locker nearby but would have liked to be informed I could have stayed in the common area until check in if desired. It was a bit dissapointing as I could have saved a few hundred yen and energy after a flight. The washing machine instruction was unclear as the yellow button had to be pressed before scanning the touch bracelet, the step which is not in the images, and the staff member assisting was a bit rude (it likely shows the issue with this particular step had occurred many times). Perhaps putting some numbered stickers may help with step by step - especially turning that yellow button to green. Overall it’s a positive experience to recharge and stay long term, however I personally found that the service can be improved. チェックアウト後に、スーツケースを預かって貰いたいと申し出をしたら、その様なサービスはしてないとの事でしたが、周辺探して下さり、わざわざ部屋に電話してくれて教えて下さいました。大きなスーツケースが入るコインロッカーが近くにあるのを見つけて教えて下さり、とても助かりました。 ありがとうございました。

Nos sentimos muy a gusto en casa de Tatsuya. La habitación era amplia y cómoda, con un gran cuarto de baño. La habitación y el baño estaban muy muy limpios. En los tres días que pasamos allí no nos faltó de nada. Se nota que Tatsuya presta mucha atención a los detalles. Usamos gratis las bicis y los paraguas. También nos gustó mucho que incluyera desayuno autoservicio sin un horario predefinido. Al salir, nos devolvió un 10% porque no habíamos necesitado el servicio de habitaciones.

環境乾淨舒適、設備齊全 有簡單的烹煮器具👍 在附近的超市可以買和牛薄片來煎或者做和牛泡麵🥰 下次有機會再回來👍

Very nice place for backpackers. I was able to meet many new people. They have some kind of a deal with a local diving company, so when at the hostel you can book diving or snorkeling and get some percent off the price👍🏼

Calm and peaceful corner in the center of Naha. Close to many supermarkets. Clean and comfy room. Great shower. Great service for Laundry service provided

ゆいレール「旭橋駅」から徒歩圏内という絶好のロケーションにある「Mr.KINJO in 旭橋駅前」に宿泊しました。駅の改札から地上まではエレベーターが完備されており、重いスーツケースを持っていても移動が非常にスムーズなのが、旅行者には嬉しいポイントです。 お部屋は、機能的な単身向けマンションを彷彿とさせるコンパクトな造り。必要なものが手の届く範囲にまとまっており、自分の部屋に帰ってきたような安心感があります。最大の特徴は、室内に洗濯機や冷蔵庫、電子レンジが完備されていること。特に洗濯機があるのは非常にありがたく、沖縄の暑い時期や長期滞在でも、帰宅後の洗濯を気にせずアクティブに動けます。 今回は直前の予約でしたが、スタッフの方の対応も非常にスムーズで安心感がありました。タオルや歯ブラシなどのアメニティ類は、フロントで受け取ってから入室するスタイル。無駄を省いた合理的なシステムですが、必要なものはしっかり揃っています。 周辺には飲食店やコンビニも多く、国際通りへも徒歩圏内。ラグジュアリーなホテル体験よりも、「清潔で便利な部屋で自由気ままに過ごしたい」という実力派の旅行者に、ぜひおすすめしたい一軒です。

周りには何もない場所らしく 国際通りからも離れているので先に飲食や買い物をすませてタクシーでホテルに行くことにした途中コンビニに寄ってもらい水など飲み物など買って行ったら冷蔵庫に冷えたペットボトルの水があって嬉しかった、 部屋は広くはないが大きなベッドに白のシーツ布団清潔感があったフロントで枕も選べて寝心地はすごく良かった。エアコンがまっすぐくるからとても効いて温度あげてもぐっすり眠れました　朝食も無料であったみたいですが私はゆっくり寝て湯船に浸かり支度をしたので行かなかったが 嬉しいサービスですね 空港にはタクシーで1000円位フロントの方も親切で料金もかからないので呼んでもらったらすぐきた。

Good surprise, a lot of space. Weird decoration with fake grass on the wall, but in the room, all is nice and clean. Love the wood
