Cari Hotel 2-Star di Naha, Okinawa

First time in a capsule hotel, and it was better than I expected! Super clean, friendly staff, and I loved the public bath (close for cleaning during 10 AM - 4 PM: hptel c/o | c/i time) Guests can grab coffee/tea in the lounge and there's 24/7 drinking water. They even have amenities like toothpaste, toothbrushes, and shaving kits at the front desk. Plus, they provide pajamas, so you can just bring your luggage for shopping and not worry about packing PJs. Overall, I'm really happy and would totally stay here again next time. FYI: The private and deluxe rooms offer more privacy.

ReTime located just shy away from Asahibashi station and a perfect walking distance from KOKUSAI DORI shopping street, tourist spots and various supermarkets. The hotel offers capsule rooms, family rooms and a cabin themed room where you are assigned either a top or bottom bunk. You also receive free slippers and borrow sleepwear during your stay. The hotel also offers complimentary basic amenities such as toothbrush, comb, shower caps, razors if you need them. At the lobby, there’s a beautiful wooden set of keyed lockers to choose to put away your shoes upon entering the building. The common space is cleaned very frequently, almost every few hours (Japan's standards will make you rethink your definition of cleanliness) and where guests can eat and drink (water and additional soft drinks provided, there's also a vending machine with a nice selection of snacks). The space very pleasantly airy with lots of sun, and overall a nice place to work, snack or relax as the cabin and capsule rooms have no windows. I loved the creativity as you are essentially sharing a bunk bed with privacy that’s provided with a sliding screen door. It’s decent, with adequate room for luggage but few may struggle if the luggage is quite large as the aisle can be a bit narrow. This can be reflected from your neighbour next door at times~! I found overall it was very comfortable and I was assigned the top bunk during my long stay. The bed is clean, with complimentary cleaning on the 7th day (10am-3pm), and there’s a decent sized desk. The privacy of the cabin room is definitely the main highlight about ReTime if one wishes for privacy but reduced budget than a standard hotel room. A slight issue with this kind of arrangement is shutting the screen doors may end up being noisy (the screen door naturally reduces soundproofing). However having stayed for quite some time, I found the bed and room overall very comfortable and decently spaced. If I stayed longer, this would not be an issue as the bed was quite spacious personally. The shower option as opposed to the public onsen baths is much appreciated as 1) some women are not comfortable with the public baths, and 2) when that time of the month happens...this would reassure future guests planning to come to ReTime. The additional complimentary ammeties such as toner, cleanser and lotion were surpising and great to use also. Some crticisms regarding the stay: upon entering, I was told check in was at 4pm, which is quite later than average . I found a coin locker nearby but would have liked to be informed I could have stayed in the common area until check in if desired. It was a bit dissapointing as I could have saved a few hundred yen and energy after a flight. The washing machine instruction was unclear as the yellow button had to be pressed before scanning the touch bracelet, the step which is not in the images, and the staff member assisting was a bit rude (it likely shows the issue with this particular step had occurred many times). Perhaps putting some numbered stickers may help with step by step - especially turning that yellow button to green. Overall it’s a positive experience to recharge and stay long term, however I personally found that the service can be improved. For the upside, I love the hotel's close proximity to the monorail station and restaurants. Having a Lawson konbini right there at the property was a bonus; if I wanted a snack or drink, all I had to do was take the elevator down and that's it. Another upside is its ideal for solo travelers with the right amount of space for one person. With that last part said, the two downsides are the loft setting and bed. I wasn't crazy about the bed being in the upper loft, so having to go up and down the stair was a little troublesome. The bed itself wasn't entirely comfortable either, as I constantly woke up with aches. I saw another room in which the bed was at ground level while the desk and chair were above. If I had a room like that, I most likely would've handle the bed better. Overall, there were more pros to make up for the room's layout. I understand that this layout is common in Japan, it requires getting used to it, but it's not for everyone. I would recommend for maybe a night or two rather than a week-long stay.

チェックアウト後に、スーツケースを預かって貰いたいと申し出をしたら、その様なサービスはしてないとの事でしたが、周辺探して下さり、わざわざ部屋に電話してくれて教えて下さいました。大きなスーツケースが入るコインロッカーが近くにあるのを見つけて教えて下さり、とても助かりました。 ありがとうございました。

Nos sentimos muy a gusto en casa de Tatsuya. La habitación era amplia y cómoda, con un gran cuarto de baño. La habitación y el baño estaban muy muy limpios. En los tres días que pasamos allí no nos faltó de nada. Se nota que Tatsuya presta mucha atención a los detalles. Usamos gratis las bicis y los paraguas. También nos gustó mucho que incluyera desayuno autoservicio sin un horario predefinido. Al salir, nos devolvió un 10% porque no habíamos necesitado el servicio de habitaciones.

Очень хороший отель. Всё чисто, всё есть необходимое. На троих просторный номер с кухней и шкафом. Чистая постель и полотенца. Мы заселились в 4-х местный номер, было всё на высоте. Рядом с отелем находятся фитнес центры, большой маркет, торговый комплекс. Очень удобное расположение. Тихо и спокойно. Есть стиральная и сушильная машины. Рекомендуем точно.

I had a generally comfortable and pleasant stay at this property. The facilities were adequate and well-equipped, including a kitchen area where I could cook, a microwave, and laundry facilities, which were very convenient for a longer stay. The location is fairly good, with easy access to a nearby bus stop and monorail station. Check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, especially regarding key collection. One minor downside was that there was construction work next door, which sometimes caused a bit of noise. Additionally, although the overall stay was comfortable, I tried to contact the service provider via chat for a specific need, but unfortunately did not receive a response. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with good facilities and a convenient location.

A great location, good value, and a comfortable bed. I slept well for 4 nights. However, although the room was spotless (clean floor etc) the bedcover was disgusting. It was covered with horrible greasy stains, probably from people eating sitting on the bed. The sheets underneath were perfectly clean, but who wants to lie in bed risking touching such a disgusting bedcover even just with their arms? Luckily it was warm, so I could take it off the bed and just used the sheet. There was also a depressing brown and dirty-looking cover on the old arm chair, so I didn’t sit in it. Why put effort into keeping the room clean and ruin it with these two disgusting (and depressing) brown covers?!

The place is so good and comfort. The location also good as we dont want to be too close to the tourist spots - a little bit away is more quiet. There are many good place for eating nearby the hotel, and great to have V21 supermarket threre!

Location is great, close to the bus stop and a lot of stores Facilities are a little old and some living may throw trash, host seems ok with it but not looks good But rest room and shower room are clean, if you just sleep for a few hours at a low price, this is a good place
