Cari Hotel 2-Star di Naha, Okinawa

It only takes one to ruin a stay, but this time two selfish neurotic old Chinese speaking women came into room very late at night making so much noise talking and messing with baggage. Upon mentioning disturbance one old woman got angry. That same woman continued to keep me up until 2.16am messing with zipped baggage in bed and dropping heavy objects on the wood above my bed. Total disregard that it was very late and I believe it to be done with deliberation as it was continued for hours after I complained. Then after check in an african woman let her boyfriend in the women's dorm and stand obstructing doorway talking and coming in room. That said african woman and boyfriend were sitting in women's only powder room for hours. Clearly not respecting boundaries yet no one said anything. African woman put all her stuff in my area of room, which I kept clear, and not near her own bed. A very annoying and disruptive night. Not the hostels fault. Usually everything is peaceful here

ReTime located just shy away from Asahibashi station and a perfect walking distance from KOKUSAI DORI shopping street, tourist spots and various supermarkets. The hotel offers capsule rooms, family rooms and a cabin themed room where you are assigned either a top or bottom bunk. You also receive free slippers and borrow sleepwear during your stay. The hotel also offers complimentary basic amenities such as toothbrush, comb, shower caps, razors if you need them. At the lobby, there’s a beautiful wooden set of keyed lockers to choose to put away your shoes upon entering the building. The common space is cleaned very frequently, almost every few hours (Japan's standards will make you rethink your definition of cleanliness) and where guests can eat and drink (water and additional soft drinks provided, there's also a vending machine with a nice selection of snacks). The space very pleasantly airy with lots of sun, and overall a nice place to work, snack or relax as the cabin and capsule rooms have no windows. I loved the creativity as you are essentially sharing a bunk bed with privacy that’s provided with a sliding screen door. It’s decent, with adequate room for luggage but few may struggle if the luggage is quite large as the aisle can be a bit narrow. This can be reflected from your neighbour next door at times~! I found overall it was very comfortable and I was assigned the top bunk during my long stay. The bed is clean, with complimentary cleaning on the 7th day (10am-3pm), and there’s a decent sized desk. The privacy of the cabin room is definitely the main highlight about ReTime if one wishes for privacy but reduced budget than a standard hotel room. A slight issue with this kind of arrangement is shutting the screen doors may end up being noisy (the screen door naturally reduces soundproofing). However having stayed for quite some time, I found the bed and room overall very comfortable and decently spaced. If I stayed longer, this would not be an issue as the bed was quite spacious personally. The shower option as opposed to the public onsen baths is much appreciated as 1) some women are not comfortable with the public baths, and 2) when that time of the month happens...this would reassure future guests planning to come to ReTime. The additional complimentary ammeties such as toner, cleanser and lotion were surpising and great to use also. Some crticisms regarding the stay: upon entering, I was told check in was at 4pm, which is quite later than average . I found a coin locker nearby but would have liked to be informed I could have stayed in the common area until check in if desired. It was a bit dissapointing as I could have saved a few hundred yen and energy after a flight. The washing machine instruction was unclear as the yellow button had to be pressed before scanning the touch bracelet, the step which is not in the images, and the staff member assisting was a bit rude (it likely shows the issue with this particular step had occurred many times). Perhaps putting some numbered stickers may help with step by step - especially turning that yellow button to green. Overall it’s a positive experience to recharge and stay long term, however I personally found that the service can be improved. The hotel itself is okay, and the rooms are decent, but the annex building is inconvenient and feels almost desolate. You’re told to walk two streets away to a separate building with only a tiny map — it feels strange. The annex is rarely staffed, offers minimal amenities (towels only, house cleaning every four days), and anything else, like slippers or cotton swabs, comes from a paid vending machine. The bigger problem is the location: the annex is right next to bars, clubs, restaurants, and even barbecue spots, so it’s quite noisy at night. Even as a heavy sleeper, I was frequently woken, making it hard to get proper rest. Budget travelers may see this as cheap, but if you’re relying on buses and trying to save money, you’ll already be tired from traveling. It’s better to stay a little further from the nightlife to actually get a proper night’s sleep. Staff are polite, but policies, location, and lack of included amenities make it hard to recommend unless you just need a very basic place to sleep.

Скромный и недорогой вариант проживания практически в самом центре города Наха. Рядом станция монорельса Асато, что позволяет без пересадок добраться из аэропорта буквально за несколько минут. Гостиница предлагает номера со всеми удобствами, какие только могут понадобиться отдыхающему на тропическом острове. Главная фишка - это стиральная машина, просто бонус к удобной кровати, холодильнику, плите и отличной сантехнике. Завтраков нет, но предоставляется возможность готовить самим. Правда, за аренду посуды и прочих кухонных принадлежностей надо будет отдельно заплатить. Бельё меняют через три ночи, однако свежие полотенца предлагают брать хоть каждый день, потому как сохнет здесь всё чрезвычайно долго. Основное неудобство - график работы ресепшена: с 15.00 до полуночи. Но эту мелочь, полагаю, даже не следует замечать ради близости к главной торговой улице Кокусай и возможности уехать в аэропорт на автобусе 125, который останавливается в 20 метрах от входной двери отеля.

This is a four-room hotel run by a very kind and friendly man. He plays the sanshin and, if you request a meal in advance (around 2000 yen, if I remember correctly), he will entertain you as you eat. The building has concrete stairs, and the room, while adequate and pristine and good sized (for Japan) is nothing special. But the dark red tiled bathroom is the largest I have ever seen in Japan! You can enjoy an authentic Japanese bath here. I wish I could have this bathroom everywhere I stay! You are welcome to drinks in the refrigerator, and you can make a simple continental breakfast. There is a small ”super” nearby, and around 30 Soaplands, so you can see an important part of Japanese male culture. It is right near the 3 bus line (which, sadly, runs very irregularly), an authentic sanshin shop (run by an elderly master of Okinawan karate) and is easy walking distance to the Naha pier (ferries to Kagoshima), the Tsushushima museum, a Taoist temple and a Chinese-style garden which dates back 70 years. You can go up on the roof for a view, and you may be able to see the From the postcards pinned up on the wall to the books with extensive entries from Japanese patrons, I would say that the Japanese love this place! If you can speak even a little bit of Japanese, I recommend this place. The only negative is that the check in is at 4 PM.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at BiBi Hotel Cosmos Shintoshin. Its prime location in Naha means it's close to everything—just a short walk to DFS Galleria, with plenty of great local restaurants nearby, and a supermarket right across the street for everyday needs. What truly sets this hotel apart is the room amenities. Having a washing machine, tumble dryer, and microwave in the room really made our trip more convenient. The room itself was spotless and cosy, with a private balcony to relax on. Check-in was quick and hassle-free, and on-site private parking took the stress out of exploring Okinawa by rental car. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a practical, comfortable base in Okinawa!

ゆいレール最寄り駅から歩いて5、6分でとても静かで良い場所でした。マックスバリュやコンビニが近いのも良かったです。洗濯機やバスタブ、基本的なアメニティだけではなくケトルや食器等も揃っていて過ごしやすかったです。

在泊港旁邊的青旅，2層宿舍樓位置很多，一個房間6個人，一個房間配有一個獨立的衞生間。隔壁的前台是個單獨的樓，二層的自習區風景很好。店內歐美人很多，青旅活動也不少。美中不足是，上下鋪梯子不太好爬，屋內設計的通風不是很好，隔音也差。 從這裏走去國際通得30分鐘加，有點太遠了，如果要出海的話還行，不然也是租單車好一點。 圖四的密碼會定期更換，不要擔心。

For my trip to Okinawa I stayed here for 3 nights. The gentle men at check in was really nice and we switched to English as best he could to help me out which was very nice. The room was good and bathroom as well. It's all you need for your stay. I booked it with breakfast included, which it was, you just have to think about it that this hotel only serves riceballs, miso out of a package and a coffee machihne for breakfast that is it. However there is a 7 eleven down the street where I got my breakfast from which is fine. While there it's a good idea to take a day ticket for the mono rail and just travel that way. I enjoyed it and got to Shuri castle and to a Urasoe Castle which I really enjoyed and it's beautiful. I would definately recommend as it's clean, easy for transport and I enjoyed my stay for sure.

Location is great, close to the bus stop and a lot of stores Facilities are a little old and some living may throw trash, host seems ok with it but not looks good But rest room and shower room are clean, if you just sleep for a few hours at a low price, this is a good place
