PPengguna TetamuGood location, it’s a stone’s throw away from the rail station and there are many eateries nearby. Additionally, there is a Family Mart and supermarket below the hotel. Parking charge is reasonably priced at JPY1,500 a day considering it’s at Naha. We had a pleasant stay overall but would be better if the mattress can be harder.

The staff were attentive and friendly, always ready to help with a smile. The location is also very convenient which just a few minutes’ walk to the nearby market, which made exploring and grabbing food is definitely not an issue.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaI had a wonderful stay at the JR Kyushu Blossom Naha! The location is absolutely fantastic. It’s incredibly convenient being so close to a 7-Eleven and a drug store—perfect for grabbing snacks, drinks, or any toiletries you might have forgotten.
I was a bit worried about the room temperature after reading some previous reviews mentioning the air conditioner being hot, but I honestly didn’t experience that issue at all. The AC worked perfectly fine for us and kept the room at a comfortable temperature. The room itself was a pleasant surprise—it felt much more spacious than your typical hotel room in Japan, so we had plenty of space to open up our suitcases without any trouble.
The daily basic cleaning was consistent and kept the room tidy throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a hassle-free, comfortable, and well-located hotel in Naha, this is a great choice

LLostWithYanThe hotel is in a great location, close to public transportation and convenience stores, and only about a 10-minute walk from Kokusai Dori. The room was clean, and although daily housekeeping wasn’t provided, amenities were replenished throughout our stay. Overall, it was a great hotel, and I would definitely stay here again if I return to Okinawa.

We stumbled upon Southwest Grand Hotel due to a last-minute flight change, and what a blessing in disguise it turned out to be! Our extra day in Okinawa became one of the most memorable parts of our trip—all thanks to this incredible hotel.
🛏️ Stylish & Photogenic Rooms
The room was modern, chic, and absolutely Instagram-worthy. I even turned it into a mini photo studio and captured some beautiful family portraits of my wife and our 3-month-old baby. My wife was over the moon with the results!
🍳 Breakfast That Delights Every Palate
The breakfast spread was phenomenal—offering both Western and Japanese options, all bursting with flavor. The cheese selection and homemade yogurt with honey were standouts. Don’t miss them!

Just a minute’s walk from Kokusai-dori (国際通り), the hotel is perfectly located for last-minute shopping or grabbing essentials. Super convenient and central!

As the nearby streets settle into a peaceful hush and most restaurants wind down with only a handful of diners, the lobby restaurants at Southwest Grand Hotel remain buzzing with energy. The lively atmosphere, filled with cheerful faces and clinking glasses, speaks volumes about the quality and charm of the hotel’s dining experience.
💭 Still Dreaming About It
Overall, our experience at Southwest Grand Hotel was truly delightful. Even now—almost a month later—I can still recall every moment with vivid clarity. If it weren’t for the limited parking, I’d confidently call it Michelin-worthy! This hotel is an absolute hidden gem, and without a doubt, I’ll be staying here again on our next visit to Okinawa!

The only thing I would suggest is paying more attention to security and room surveillance during the night. One night, around 2 am a man came to my room and started knocking on the door loudly. It woke me up and disturbed me a lot. Fortunately, I did not open the door and simply told him in English that it was not his room.
Another disturbing situation happened at around 9 pm on a different day. A staff member rang the bell while I was taking a nap. He was with another person, and he opened my door using a key card. Thankfully, the door was locked, so they could not enter. He kept saying “Konnichiwa” until I finally asked, “What do you want?” and then they just left.
I think the hotel should be more careful about verifying which guests are staying in each room, as these situations were very disruptive and uncomfortable.

GGraceLcmWe arrived almost midnight after a long day, looking forward to a good rest. The room (Deluxe Twin) was okay and comfortable, nothing much to complain about.
However, the service was quite disappointing.
We booked a Deluxe Twin under one name and naturally expected breakfast for two persons. Upon check-in, we were told breakfast was only for one, and we had to top up more than ¥5,000 for the second person. That was quite a surprise.
What made it worse was the receptionist repeatedly making remarks in Japanese mentioning “Singaporean” during the conversation. Even if we didn’t fully understand everything, the tone and body language were uncomfortable and unnecessary.
After a long journey, you really hope for warm hospitality — unfortunately, this was not the experience we had.
