"I will stay at the hotel when i visit Okinawa again! The location is excellent for shopping & visiting the seafood market. It is a fair bit of walking from the monorail station but it is so convenient to go around the city via Didi/Uber. The housekeeping is only done every 3 days but they change the towels and empty the bins everyday. Room is clean and spacious."

"The hotel location os really good. The receptionist checked our room before we checked in, but we later noticed a few issues. The room was on the 8th floor, above the car park level, with views of the surrounding area and a glimpse of the ocean. The room was spacious. A fridge, kettle, mugs, glasses, coffee, an ice bucket, and toothbrushes with toothpaste were all provided in the room. It was convenient to check into the hotel after 10 pm. The problem with the room was the large amount of dust on the air conditioning unit and the walls, as well as traces of dust and mould. We would ask the staff to pay more attention to cleanliness. Thank you."

"My stay at the Okinawa Hinode Hotel was a wonderful experience and one of the highlights of my trip to Okinawa. The hotel is conveniently located near Kokusai Street, making it easy to explore local restaurants, souvenir shops, and popular attractions. The monorail station is also within walking distance, which made transportation very convenient. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. Although the space was not very large, it was well organized and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff members were friendly, polite, and always willing to help whenever I had questions. One of the best parts of the hotel was the complimentary services. Guests could enjoy free drinks, ice cream, and late-night ramen, which created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The public bath was also excellent and helped me relax after a long day of sightseeing. In addition, the breakfast offered a variety of delicious Okinawan dishes and fresh ingredients. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at the Okinawa Hinode Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Okinawa."

"Very comfortable stay. Good location, acceptable room space, nice staff. The facilities r also good. The room space and planning for the toilets is a highlight. The only thing to mention is that no cleaning service for stays less than 4 days(if I remember correctly cos we stayed for three days), but I understand that it’s a common practice here. Btw I love the water provided so much, and I’ve never encountered a water tasted better than that"

"Love the excellent location which is just 5 mins walk to Makishi Station and Kokusaidori Shopping street. There's family mart and Cargoes supermarket at L1 and linked to car park. The room is clean and consider spacious. We can choose either to make up room or change towels every day. It would be good if hotel can also provides shower cap. The staff are friendly and helpful. I think it deserves as a 4 stars hotel instead of 3 stars as it exceeded our expectations."

"Really happy with this stay. The location is fantastic — just a 5-minute walk from Asahibashi Station, with convenience shops, izakaya and restaurants all around, and a doable 30-minute walk to the other end of Kokusai Dori Shopping Street. The room itself was very clean and spacious for a Japanese hotel, with a firm, comfortable bed and hotel-quality sheets and blankets. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Location The hotel is conveniently situated on a side street just off the main road. It’s a quiet spot but offers easy access to nearby restaurants. Service Issues • Poor Communication: I arrived an hour before the 3:00 PM check-in time. While I understood that early check-in wasn't available, the staff directed me to a small, uncomfortable bench at entrance of restaurant to wait. It was pouring rain outside, and the seating was so poor I eventually chose to go out into the rain just to kill time. I later discovered a proper reception area with comfortable seating on the 11th floor—I wish the staff had directed me there instead of the hallway. • Misleading Incentives: The hotel provides an information card stating that guests receive a 1,000 credits for skipping room cleaning. I opted out twice during my first stay but never received the credit. When I returned for a second stay and inquired about it, the receptionist told me that since I had already checked out, there was ”no proof” the room wasn't cleaned no credit can be provided. It’s small, but the lack of accountability felt deceptive. Room Quality On a positive note, the rooms are very spacious, which made the physical stay quite comfortable

It was our last night at Okinawa and we went back to Hyatt Naha after coming back from Onna. As before, the room was clean and the staff’s dedication can be seen. I had to return my car and they delivered our luggage to room during that time. Happy to spend our last night there.

Very near to the Asahibashi station & Lawson, it took less than 7-8 mins walk. Also near to Naha bus Terminal. You can walk to Prefectural office and down to Kokusai Dori shopping street for around 26 mins. Everything look exactly like pictures shown in the website. Check in early is available but it cost like 500 yen not sure if this is counted by how many hours early you wanna check in, i paid for 500yen to check in early. The women's floor have CCTV even in the bedding area(corridor), so is safe. At the women's floor, there's toilet & changing room/powder room, no shower room. If you want to take shower, you need to go down second floor where the onsen located. Inside will have a shower room. Overall stay is good, clean and affordable. Recommended for solo travelers.

When we arrived, already liked the atmosphere of the lobby- bar-restaurant, which was lively, with nice lighting and the green foliage from the window wall and smell nice too, which is very important. We could early check-in in a corner room and high floor! Our purpose was to leave our bags and was surprised with rooms ready. Our room was spotless, decorated with neutral colours, very comfortable, everything was new. The only thing, the window only opens just a little bit and was hard to close it back and the faucet of the sink was just below the glass shelf and you will hit it every time you turn it on and the room lights had few individual switches, therefore was almost an all lights on or all lights off deal! Another down thing was the flip-flops which weren’t comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and fresh, with just the right amount of choices but everything available was really good. The public bath as well, everything was new, clean and with enough number of showers and the bath had the right size, decorated with simple and tasteful colours, the water was delicious. The location of the hotel was very good, just a few minutes walk to the monorail and with convenient shopping around. We enjoyed every minute of our stayed! It was excellent!

Great hotel, excellent location, airport bus directly to hotel. Room is bigger than most hotels I stay at in Japan and this is my fourth Jalan visit. Twin room, bed is big and comfy, provided 3 pillows, 1 hard and 1 normal so theres good choice. No bathtub which is good since I don’t use it anyway. Girl is reception does not know what good customer service mean! We arrived at 1pm knowing we cannot check in yet so we asked to leave luggages there and she just pointed us to the side where theres already a few luggages from different people. There wasn’t enough room and after awhile we decided go back to reception and ask for string to tie all our luggages together after seeing other luggages was tied. This time we were served by a male who showed my son a private room where we can store our luggages and set our own combinations!

We arrived almost midnight after a long day, looking forward to a good rest. The room (Deluxe Twin) was okay and comfortable, nothing much to complain about. However, the service was quite disappointing. We booked a Deluxe Twin under one name and naturally expected breakfast for two persons. Upon check-in, we were told breakfast was only for one, and we had to top up more than ¥5,000 for the second person. That was quite a surprise. What made it worse was the receptionist repeatedly making remarks in Japanese mentioning “Singaporean” during the conversation. Even if we didn’t fully understand everything, the tone and body language were uncomfortable and unnecessary. After a long journey, you really hope for warm hospitality — unfortunately, this was not the experience we had. Just sharing our experience.
