The room itself in the hotel was amazing and especially considering the price we paid. 10/10. There is a small convenience store next door at the bottom, which makes it easy to get essentials. There is a man, I didn't get his name. He was on night shifts at the front desk with glasses and was by far the most helpful hotel receptionist I've ever met. These things make me look back very fondly on my stay at Sanyu.

前台的美女服務特別好，那麼多人存行李，她居然能記得哪個行李是哪個人的，記性太好了。10月2號住了一晚，覺得不錯，從祁連回來10月5號又訂到這裏。5號那天，前台的妹妹還提醒了房價的優惠活動，一下省了好多，這點真的特別好，前台還給升級了景觀房，窗外景色不錯，是個小公園。房間很大很舒服，國慶來玩，房間一點也不冷，温度適宜。有送歡迎水果，種類很豐富。大大的茶水台很實用。早餐也不錯，而且1米4以下的小孩不另收費。晚上點了外賣，機器人沒送全，服務員親自送上來了。整體服務都很好。酒店離西寧動物園不遠，順便帶娃去了趟動物園，挺好玩的。離西寧高鐵站也不遠。

This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed. Service is amazing. Breakfast is extremely good with a very big choice of western food. At check out Isabelle even gave me some complementary coffee for my train trip to Lhasa, as well as a gif box from the hotel. Absolutely value for you money! One of the hotels in China that really deserves 5 Stars!

自駕中國西寧站，房間超越我的期待，建議首先要先看價格再看硬件，我當時APP訂的房間衹要50多，50多在很多二三線城市衹能定個青旅，連個獨立洗手間都沒有，但是看看他給你配了什麼，首先有40平米的大房間配獨立衣櫃，誇張的説在房間踢足球都可以，竟然還配了一個小書巴台，旁邊就是人民公園，算半個別墅房吧，一次性用品給你配齊，床鋪乾淨睡了不癢，還非常安靜，雖然沒有空調，但我定的時候11月中下雪了有地暖，不是那一種一排排的暖氣管，而是真正的地暖，非常暖和，再看看這個價格，我還敢有什麼不滿意？我連續訂了2晚，必須好評，如果説缺點的話，這個酒店出行走出去公交站坐車要7 8分鐘，洗浴衹有頭頂的淋浴沒有獨立花灑，稍微有點不便

The rooms at the Sofitel were spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail in the room's design and furnishings, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance. The comfortable bed ensured a restful sleep, and the well-appointed bathroom offered all the necessary amenities.
The hotel's dining options were equally impressive. The on-site restaurant served a wide variety of delicious local and international cuisines. The breakfast buffet was especially impressive, offering a generous selection of dishes to satisfy all tastes. I also enjoyed dining at the hotel's bar.
One highlight of my stay was the attentiveness and genuine care shown by the hotel staff. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay.

We loved our two bedroom apartment at Sebel which is attached to Sofitel. The decoration and layout was so comfortable. We also appreciate the French touch of the design. I wished that quarantine hotels in China will be of this quality. I can stay in for 2 weeks.

環境特別好，比較夢幻，孩子特別喜歡。早餐也非常豐富。提一下建議，在我們因孩子小傷口有些感染撥打總枱電話詢問是否有碘伏時，前台人員衹是告訴我們沒有，附近沒有葯店，衹有一個小診所還估計關門了。由於是晚上，酒店位置比較偏，外賣也送不了。其實挺無助的。雖然幫不上忙，但是顧客需要葯品，酒店客服是否能詢問一下發生了什麼事情，需不需要幫助，這應該是人性化服務的標準。這點體會不好，小小的遺憾。

EEllipseGood locale. Service staff excellent! Breakfast spread worth the value. Hotel changes their menu and not repeat all the same items.
However they should look into the coffee bean maker as it was really slow to churn out a good cup of coffee! Could be that the piping needs to be checked or even cleaned out!?
Overall, it was a good experience. Hallway to the rooms lighting uses sensor, which perhaps need to be adjusted, as it requires heavy stomping of the feet to light up. Thanks!

PPengguna TetamuI went to the location provided by trip.com and checked into the hotel. Communication was difficult because the hotel staff did not speak English. The requested payment, although I had prepaid. It turned out that the hotel was not the one that I had booked and Chaoman Hotel was actually at a different address. It took a lengthy and cumbersome discussion with trip.com but eventually the situation was resolved and th original payment was reimbursed.

Upon arrival we had a very warm welcome from the receptionist Xiao Yang. She helped us with the check-in and showed us the room. We also got a free upgrade to room with a nice view.
The room was very clean and comfortable. We got a free welcome snack and some fruits.
We would definitely recommend the hotel and book it again when returning to Xining.

What troubled me is my prepaid online advanced booking for a business room. When checked in at 9pm, front desk could not find my booking and took 20 minutes to find out the back office had made a mistake. My prepaid business room was occupied by another guest and I was given a standard room without any compensation. As it's late in the evening, I have no choice but accepted it. The hotel owed me an explanation

Bbebou around the worldWe found the hotel easily. The lobby seems to be shared with another hotel. Check-in was possible even late at night. The reception staff upgraded us into a room with a window which was nice. The room in itself is small but functional. The bed is small but comfy. The TV worked well. There's a laundry room that you can use for free but the dryer mode doesn't work. The amenities are outdated and cleanliness is really not what you would expect. Our toilet seat was broken, the sink was dirty (we removed some stains with just water and toilet paper) and it was leaking. The walls have some very nasty stains on it and there's dust and stains on many things inside the room (bedside tables, fan, wardrobe, bedside lights, etc). One very annoying thing is that when you don't close your door properly, there's a loud alarm that quickly starts ringing. Unfortunately, when it's breakfast time, many people don't care and will leave that to ring until they come back, and it's very annoying. Breakfast is Chinese food only and not that great. Plus it is served in a very small room where there's definitely not enough space for everybody so you might have to wait. On the second day, housekeeping took our bath mat and didn't replace it, so we had to use another towel. On the third day, despite putting the ”do not disturb sign” on the door, housekeeping knocked several times until told that we didn't need anything. I mean it's nice of them, but the point of having the sign is not to be disturbed. Depending on when you take your shower, the water can be a bit dodgy (fine at night, but in the morning, it goes from burning to barely hot to burning again which can be annoying). The layout of the bathroom is weird as well as the toilet protrudes in the middle of the bathroom making it complicated to move around, exit the shower or even use the sink (especially since ours was leaking all over). Shower glass doors also don't close properly so lots of water is coming out. Our laundry string was broken so we had to find another way to dry our laundry.
I think it's important to note as well that as foreigners, we have been followed to our door by some other guests, and were stared at by others until we entered our room and closed the door which didn't feel safe for my girlfriend.
All in all, if you don't care about cleanliness, then it's ok as it's well located.

If you can use the China Baidu Map Apps (in Mandarin), it is easily can find the right bus route to the hostel as there is another bus stop at the back lane of this hostel. Local bus is cheap at RMB2 per trip, by cash or Apps, so be prepared with RMB1 note or coins.
The room is big but some facilities like curtain and furnitures are a bit out dated, it comes with shared toilet and bathroom. Games like billardboard pool table are available.
A few food outlets selling local dishes nearby but most of them closed at night.
