My husband and I stayed here for 4 days. He wanted aircon, I wanted a garden room. Perfect. We found it a very quiet hotel. We found it not as bad as the reviews but it is very tired inside and out in places. Decor is basic - our room was basic but clean. We had clean bedding and daily towels. Beds were comfy enough. We had a hairdryer and a fridge. The pool was usually empty. Again perfect for us. relaxing and quiet. There are sunbeds, umbrella’s and some trees for shade. The food was fabulous. We booked breakfast and evening meal. Breakfast has everything and all you can eat! Perfect. We had a dinner set menu of 3 choices (£18) and it was very Ala carte, beautiful daily fish and huge portions. service was also fab. Lovely waiters who really looked after us. They let me save 1/2 bottle of wine for the next night. And let me take toast to my poorly husband in bed. Drinks and pizzas were available during the day but staff seemed scarce. We travelled into Barcelona by train, google maps tells you the exact details. Easy enough. Sant Boi has lots of cafes and bars, cheap and cheerful. Loads of chemists and supermarkets. The hotel is at the top of a gentle hill, don’t underestimate this. It’s hard work in the heat! It isn’t fancy but it isn’t awful. We said we might even return …

Reception: Lots of staff appearing to be busy doing things other than attending to waiting customers. Room / facilities: Room number 423 is on the 4 floor, is clean and faces the rear of the building. The room is modern and very spacious for an Ibis hotel. Self control air conditioning with a window that opens fully. The room has minimal features, but does include a double bed with flimsy lumpy pillows (no additional pillows provided), 2x bath towels and floor mat, small hanging unit with shelves and mirror, table and chair. Flat screen tv. There is no fridge, no safe, no tea or coffee facilities. Parking: Free parking on premises accommodates approx 10 cars at the front of the hotel, or €5 paid parking in a secure area at the rear of the property accommodates approx 30 cars. There is a open air public car park next door to the hotel, with walk way access, which appears to be free, and an accommodate a large number of vehicles. Wifi: Complementary and good speed. Room Number and guest name is requires for validation. Breakfast: Available for additional cost, but not utilised on this stay. Conclusion: Good hotel for an airpot hotel. Its approx 9km from the airport and an easy drive for an overnight stay. Letdowns: Staff are not customer focused. Location / Nearby: McDonalds, Aldi supermarket (2 minute walk), petrol station (1 minute drive), town of Viladecans (5 min walk), shopping mall (20 min walk) Getting to hotel: Best use GPS, as it is not walkable from the airport

A nice quiet stay at this ibis given it is out of the main city centre..there are buses which get there with a bus stop right outside the hotel. Next door there is an Aldi and worse case scenario, McDonald's:)! To the room, standard and no frills. Clean and small - traveling with huge luggage is a challenge in an ibis room. The first night was bad sleep with the endless chatter outside but the hotel was able to understand and change the room which was a better location and less noise. Breakfast was very basic and ate there once and eating in the ibis on other mornings. Breakfast is to be paid. Keep it open and don't buy on check in. For getting into the city, the t-casual card for 11 euros is a great deal giving you 10 rides. Can be bought online with a physical card to be got at a metro station. The L or E buses you can buy tickets on the bus for 2.50. good stay

Good hotel for business travellers. Nice comfortable rooms. Breakfast has many options. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel with direct connection to Pl Espanya. Would have been nice to have a coffee and tea kettle in the room.

Excelente estancia y, aún más excelente, el trato y la atención recibida. Teníamos 2 habitaciones reservadas para 2 noches y tras dormir la primera noche tuvimos un contratiempo personal y tuvimos que abandonar el hotel para volver a nuestra ciudad. Explicamos la situación excepcional al personal de recepción y ellos a su vez lo consultaron con la dirección y nos devolvieron la segunda noche. Quería dar las gracias públicamente por la empatía que tuvieron y por las facilidades a pesar de que la política de cancelación decía que ni se podía cancelar. De verdad que da gusto encontr**** con gente tan estupenda que comprenda nuestra situación inesperada y nos haya resuelto el tema a nuestro favor y tan rápidamente. Mil gracias y enhorabuena por ser así de amables. Sin duda volveremos al hotel y seguiremos siendo clientes de la cadena

This is a friendly hotel, the staff were helpful. Rooms are basic but very clean. My room was cleaned every day. Breakfast was ok, enough variety to fuel you for the day. It is important to note that the hotel is not in Barcelona. The trains are fairly easy to navigate though and the station is a steady 15 minute walk away, with Barcelona Sants a 25 minute journey away. All in all a good experience.

Stayed here pre cruise and after cruise out of barcelona, found the hotel to clean and our room was large.the room on our 2nd stay was a triple room with a large walk in shower. Great coffee machine in lobby and breakfast room and the breakfast was good with a lot of choice.nice little patio area at front of hotel which was nice to sit out in the sun with your coffee,also at the rear of hotel is a mall with numerous nice eating places.taxi from airport was around 10 minutes and cost €13 (uber), Uber from hotel to port was around €30.the train station is directly across the road and costs around €4.60 return to the city centre, you can also take the train to castelldefels where there is a massive beach although it is a 25minute walk from the train station. Castelldefels is also a nice town with lots of restaurants and it is only 2 train stops from the hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

As an airport hotel, they have it all. Fitness center was excellent. Breakfast was great. Parking was easy, as the hotel is on a shopping center.
