Hotel 4 bintang Toyama yang Popular

For an old town which accommodates the japanese local business people, it's pretty decent. Especially the breakfast spread, it was awesome. Other than that, facilities were all old, can't complain though

I stayed 1 night at this property. There are just another 2 other international chain hotel in this mid-size city with another one (Doubletree by Hilton) coming in early 2023. Other international guests seems to be mainly employees which visits this city for the Fujifilm site and it seems to cater to also tour groups - during my visit there was a bus load of Korean tourist. Location The hotel is located about 15-20 mins walk from the main Toyama train station. In front of the hotel was a tram stop (serviced by the City Circle tram) and about 5 mins walk away another tram stop which has more frequency. Around the hotel within walking distance are different shopping streets and eateries. Right in front of the hotel is the Toyama castle, and other touristic attractions also within walking distance. To sum up, the property is favorably centrally located. Check In I arrived around 1 pm at the property to a quiet front desk area - however the employees seemed to be busy. However upon noticing my presence, I was immediately called upon. I was informed that my rooms were not ready (I had 2 rooms reserved). However the check-in process was completed and I was informed that I could keep my bags stored and they would be brought up to the room. I only had to come back later to retrieve the room card later. I was upgraded to a higher category room. I was also asked about my option for my Welcome Gift - which I selected for the Welcome drink option. Since my room was with breakfast, I was also provided with a breakfast voucher. All in all a very warm welcome to the hotel. Room I arrived late afternoon back to the hotel - upon receiving my keys I was informed that the bags were already in one of the rooms. I was given two rooms, next to each other at the end of the hallway. The room size was rather spacious and although dated, as in lots of other Crowne Plaza's in Japan, the room was rather dated but well maintained and functional. There was a working desk and a small area with a seating area. The window in the room was on the small side - with a view towards the city area. The internet speed was good and stable - with login via the One Rewards login page. The only small complain is the TV, it was on the smaller side with the usual channel options found in these international chain hotels in Japan. The bed was luckily not on the hard side and sleep quality was good. Climate control was good - with the room maintained at the set temperature. Tea/coffee making amenities and Japanese Yakuta was provided. The bathroom was sufficiently spacious with a bathtub. Water pressure and temperature control was good. Toiletries were in pump size bottled. There was additional amenities provided - which is typical for such hotel level in Japan and in addition the Crowne Plaza sleep comfort package, Skyview Bar To use my Welcome Drink voucher, I used it at the hotel's Skyview bar - which is at the highest floor of the hotel, which is one o

The room is very clean. There is a multi storey carpark connected to the hotel, you can park there if you are driving, overnight parking is cheaper if you pay at the hotel, you just need to validate the ticket at the reception at level 2 everyday before you leave the carpark. They will accumulate the parking fee at the time you check out, hassle free to pay everyday. The coin laundry washing machine is a bit weak to dry your clothes, my advice to those who drive is to bring to any 24 hours coin laundry outside, faster and more efficient. Besides the coin laundry, I will recommend this hotel. Thank you.

Very nice hotel that incorporates elements from the traditional Japanese ryokan. I was surprised to learn you need to take off the shoes and store them in a locker before taking the elevator because everywhere is covered with tatami mats! You can enjoy the common bathhouse that has some special onzen facilities like water dropping from above (as if you were showering under a small waterfall), which was actually an old way of enjoying onzen that went back to Edo period if I am not mistaken. You can also enjoy fresh hot water right inside your room, which is another great thing about this franchise.

I booked this hotel for I have seen the travellers rated this hotel highly for its cleanliness. It’s true. The room is of high standard of cleanliness. The reception staff are friendly and also have upgraded my room to a bigger one. The room is well designed and very clean, so I decided to reserve for another night. The breakfast is good, the chef in charge of the breakfast buffet,very friendly ,taught me how to make my bowl of rice delicious with different seasonings. Will stay here again when travelling to Toyama.

This was a beautiful hotel just steps away from the Toyama Station, yet the area is clean, quiet (for being in the city) and lovely. It’s conveniently located for walking around to shops, restaurants and the cherry blossom canal, if you’re there at that time of year. There’s also a stunning urban park close by with so many views and a Starbucks on the waterfront that is a special setting. Our room at this hotel was above and beyond. We actually reserved a standard double and ended up getting upgraded to an amazingly large room with a spacious full living room area. It was such a relaxing place to stretch out after a busy day. Everything was super clean and many nice toiletry touches were provided. I wish we had another night here for sure!

出張で帰りが0時を超えるため、深夜にチェックイン。受付の男性も無愛想でしたが、そこは大目にみて部屋へ。部屋はシングルのためコンパクト。スリッパは使い捨てのものがなくサンダルタイプのため不快でした。今時共有タイプだけはケチっているのが伺えます。深夜のチェックインのため部屋のシャワーを利用したが、まさかの冷水とお湯を混ぜて温度を調整するタイプでした。シャワーが終わり眠気もピークに達したところで一眠りしようとウトウトしていたところ、冷蔵庫から「ガタガタガタガタ」という音にビックリして目が覚めました。しかもこの音が5〜10分おきぐらいに定期的にやってくるためまったく眠れませんでした。コンセントを抜こうとしましたが、束になって固定されていたため抜くことができず諦めました。（これに関しては悪意を感じました。）そして極めつけはフロア全体の騒音です。どこからともなく「ハクション」という大きなくしゃみをしたおじさんの声がフロア全体に響き渡り、まさかの「激」壁薄の造り。再開発で次々と新しいビジネスホテルや観光ホテルができている中で、この感じを味わえるのはある意味レアなホテルでした。

旅行会社で予約しお金も前払いした状態だったのにいざチェックインしようとするとホテル側のミスで予約が取れてなかった。1時間ほど車で待たされようやく部屋に通されるが案内されたのは当初予約してた部屋とは違う部屋。部屋の説明もされずホームページで検索してみると2人部屋だった。(こっちは3人で来てる)ベット2つと布団1枚ひかれてる状態。まずどうしてこうなったか、旅行会社か温泉側のどっちのミスか聞いているのに後から確認しますと言って結局チェックアウトまで何も教えてもらえず、最後にこちらから聞くと電話して確認しますとまた伝えられる。後から謝罪の電話はあったものの当日は慌てた様子で最初に1人だけ謝りに来て終わり。旅行会社から後日電話があったが、旅行会社の方も宿泊施設から電話があったのはこちらがチェックアウトした後1回しか連絡が来ていなかったそう。いい加減な態度だったと旅行会社も電話で言っていた。 小さい頃家族で行って楽しかった思い出もあり大好きな宿だったがもう一生行きたくない。今回家族の誕生日祝いで訪れてたので何も言わず黙ってたが腹が立って悔しくて嫌な思いで終わった旅行だった。

I have no idea why this hotel is branded as Doubletree because it is a lot better than the usual Doubletree. It can definitely be a Hilton branded hotel. Everyone is kind and helpful and the room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic with the food quality excellent. Plenty of choice between western and Japanese food, the Food and Beverage Manager was personally present to make sure everything was okay and he was fantastic to receive his advice on the best food to choose. Well done everyone

温泉付きの大きなお部屋にとまりました。中庭にはアート作品、窓の外には神通川、そして部屋の中はとても静かで、落ち着いた時間を過ごしました。ベッドもよかった。 大浴場の温泉の泉質は正直大したことがないように思いましたが、お部屋の温泉はまずまずよかったです。夕食はフレンチをいただきましたが、日本の宿で食べられる洋食としては最高レベルと思いました。ワイン・ペアリングも最高でした。蛍もいましたよ。 チェックインなどを担当してくださる方の対応が若干事務的な感じがしなくもなくてすこし寂しかったですが、そういったことを踏まえても最高の宿でした。
