Hotel di Utebo

The staff are wonderful, friendly, well presented and professional. The housekeeping staff do a fabulous job. And the interior designer has successfully vomited standard mid range hotel design all over the place. But that’s it. I arrived when the hotel was clearly nearly empty (visible by all the room keys still in their slots late at night & early hours) yet they only had a room with two singles available so I imagine they have no doubles or a maximum of 4 of them in the whole hotel, or they lied to me?). The room was minimalist and unobtrusive in its decor. There is a room drinks fridge which I imagine be would be perfect for anyone needing to cool drinks, snacks etc. The wardrobe space is plentiful for a long weekend as a couple. Also the desk & chair are an ideal height but sadly no plug socket within reach so neither useful as a work desk nor a hair/make up counter Sadly the mattresses on the two pushed together single beds were horrific, the bed linen cheap and greyish rather than their original white (as were the towels). Flattened fibre pillows were provided and a overused blanket between the two sheets. The shower would not regulate. One moment you are under a great stream or perfect temperature, the next you are being boiled alive or frozen to death despite not touching anything. The sound proofing is near non-existent, I had the pleasure of joining my neighbours for their TV session until 4am along with their love making. the second is forgivable as many are more vocal in a hotel...but the first? Why are TV’s placed on adjoining walls if your soundproofing is that poor? I was surprised to find no room service particularly given the ongoing covid restrictions & early closures of restaurants & supermarkets. Surely this is the definition of a trapped audience, so guaranteed income? I had anticipated Spanish tapas & wine in my room as I settled in, not quite the same as the water I had bought over from France in my car. To be honest I am probably over irritated writing this review. Travelling in covid times is challenging. But those mattresses, lack of soundproofing & no room service means I have not slept or eaten in nearly 48 hours so this is as honest as it gets

LEED ATENTAMENTE ANTES DE RESERVAR A última hora decidimos cambiar nuestra reserva en el centro de Zaragoza (en un hotel sin piscina) por este a unos kilómetros de la ciudad. No nos sorprendió la ubicación ya que sabíamos a dónde íbamos, es más he de decir que para acceder al centro en coche era cómodo. Antes de ir ya habíamos leído comentario negativos del hotel (y en particular de la habitación 301, que fue la que nos tocó) pero decidimos darle una oportunidad. Si alguien está dándole una vuelta, que no caiga en la tentación. La piscina es correcta, acorde al precio que pagas. El servicio es amable. Las instalaciones anticuadas (la fachada está que se cae). Pero bueno te lo esperas. A partir de toda esta introducción que es lo que esperas, empieza nuestro particular calvario. La primera noche estuvimos algo más de 3 horas sin aire acondicionado, decidimos no bajar a quejarnos porque finalmente se repuso. Tres horas metidos en un horno, creedme que da para mucho. La segunda noche (previa a un viaje de horas y donde necesitábamos descansar), vuelve a no funcionar el aire, decidimos bajar a recepción a ver que sucede y nos comentan que está estropeado que están trabajando en ello. La recepcionista del turno de noche (sin culpa ninguna y muy amable), en su afán de intentar solucionar el problema, nos ofreció muy educadamente la suite. Subimos a verla antes de hacer el cambio de maletas y nos encontramos una habitación aparentemente limpia pero llena de HORMIGAS, si hormigas. Teníamos que decidir dormir entre picores e intranquilos o dormir con calor. Decidimos la segunda. En plena hora de calor (39/40 grados) y sin aire y si abrías la ventana escuchabas los coches pasar, unido al sonido irritante del ascensor, hacía que una pequeña brisa de aire te saliera muy caro. Decidimos bajar a tomar el aire abajo a la terraza del bar, donde el estuvimos casi una hora hasta que decidimos subir ya que no tenía pinta de que se fuera arreglar. Apenas hemos dormido una hora en toda la noche. Estuvimos a punto de irnos al coche a dormir. Por la mañana bajamos a recepción, donde estaban la directora (que nos atendió al check in y una recepcionista nueva. Pues ojo, que la directora se metió al despacho tan ancha y el marrón para la recepcionista. Como compensación nos invitaron al desayuno en la cafetería. Creo que dos noches mal dormidas (58 euros noche) no los compensa un desayuno. Pero fue un detalle, aunque hubiera preferido una disculpa de la directora, que lo escucho todo. NO LE DESEO A NADIE LO QUE NOS SUCEDIÓ A NOSOTROS.

Es la primera vez que nos alojamos en éste hotel. Aunque a primera vista, este un loco lejos de la ciudad, es ideal para poder estar tranquilos. El chico que estaba en recepción nos atendió muy amablemente. La habitación era muy amplia. Estaba muy bien equipada. Me sorprendió mucho la zona de estar, con una mesa, dos sillas, una nevera amplia, y una zona para cocinar con microondas, vitrocerámica, y una pila. Por otro lado la cama muy grande y cómoda. En cuanto al armario: aunque parece un poco pequeño, la habitación cuenta con muchos cajones para guardar ropa, calzado, etc. Lo único, que solo había 3 perchas para colgar ropa. Y en el baño, me pareció un gran detalle que los dispensadores de gel, champú, jabón de manos, etc, estuvieran colgados en la pared. Un gran acierto. Repetiremos sin dudas!

Bilik-bilik hotel sangat luas dengan hiasan moden, tempat tidur king dan bar mini yang sangat selesa. Perhatian kakitangan sangat tepat. Tidak syak lagi, bagi saya, ini adalah pilihan pertama saya kerana terpaksa tinggal di Zaragoza dalam jangka masa yang lama.

This is a curious hotel. It claims 4 stars but is more of a functional transient business hotel run with minimum staff and an aversion to the cost of maintenance. The appearance looks a first modern minimalist which is good. However, on closer inspection, the signs of lack of investment begin to show. The hotel is situated in a very open space surrounded on one side by a container truck holding point and on the other by a currently closed (almost abandoned commercial shopping centre). It was like it had been placed in a wind tunnel and the strength and speed of the wind had to be felt to be believed. The reception was fine and the staff friendly and professional. We had two rooms to cater for 2 parents and 2 adolescents. We had to get instruction on using the air conditioner which functioned in just one room. On request a member of staff came to the room and, after accepting the airconditioner did not work, suggested we leave a window open. Remember the wind and this is a 4 star hotel. She then suggested we move to a new room which was fine. A storm raged all night so we were glad of the closed windows. The rooms appeared clean but lacked maintenance. In the new room, the bathroom shaving light did not work. All the wood at the base of the bathroom appeared damaged from water. The breakfast the following morning was okay but not with extensive choice (to the disappointment of the kids). My rule of thumb for good breakfast is always the coffee and this one, from a machine, was only lower than average coffee. On checkout, we discovered that we were required to pay for two breakfast as, according to the staff, the default *********** system does not automatically assume a breakfast with the second room when you book for four event though the order criteria stated breakfast included. Overall, the hotel was fine, not cheap, slept alright, ate okay and we moved on.

We had a good stay here, the hotel is huge and the parking was safe and secure. It's very clean and it's in a lovely location. Breakfast was delicious and offered plenty of choices. Bad points however, reception is painfully slow, check in took ages. The pool is lovely and just what you need after a hot day out and about exploring, again the bad points, they have hardly any sun loungers. Lots of people had to use towels on the floor, not ideal and definitely not relaxing. We counted just 30 loungers for such a big hotel. No chairs around the pool, they have a huge deck and hardly any furniture. Such a shame you can't enjoy the pool or deck area.

Good hotel right next to the train station. We booked breakfast which was good and there were plenty of options.

Not easy to find! The instructions say that the hotel is just across the road from the railway station but we had to ask a friendly security guard to point us in the right direction. The hotel, clearly for business travellers, is underwhelming and is in need of renovation. It’s a long way from the city and you need to get a bus to get there. We couldn’t get in our room door upon arrival and, after trying to ram it a few times, had to ask the receptionist to help. She showed us the correct way (keycard in, out, quickly!) otherwise we would have been standing in the not-so-nice hallway all night. The room was basic but we hadn’t paid much for it and weren’t expecting luxury. It was nice enough and was clean. Only two power plugs (one of which wasn’t working), insufficient for today’s needs, and none by the bedside for powering up phones etc. The bathroom fan didn’t work. We wanted to use the safe in the room but couldn’t work out how to. There were no instructions. Another trip down to reception where we were told there were two types of safes, one with a numeric pad and others (like ours) that needed a special card. To get the special card, we’d need to leave a deposit of €20 and she’d have to call a colleague to set it up. No thanks! We went out for dinner clasping our wallets close to us. Two positives: the aircon worked well and the breakfast was good. Constantly replenished and, except for the orange juice, of good quality. Upon reflection, we should have gone for a hotel in town instead.
