Excellent hotel in Venice. New, clean and modern room. Breakfast is good. About 10 mins walk from the train station but suggested to have porter service for carrying baggage because at least 2-3 bridges will need to cross. Charge is 5Euro per baggage

The best thing about this hotel is the location as it is on the water and the water bus docks in front of the hotel. The hotel itself is cozy; the room was very pretty with red and gold furnishings. Windows look out at the water which is nice and they welcomed us with a bottle of prosecco. We stayed here 3 nights and found out that the room was not super functional. To start, there are not enough electrical outlets; the coffee machine is placed on the table but the cord does not reach the outlet so you have to move it to the opposite wall to the outlet closer to the floor. The thermostat sometimes worked, sometimes did not. The shower is large but has half a glass door and almost the entire floor of the bathroom gets soaked during the shower. Small inconveniences but for how much this hotel costs, it's not ideal. They were quite attentive in getting us extra towels etc. Also, it rained the entire first day and the hotel provided plenty of sturdy umbrellas.

We ended our trip to Italy in Venice with a 2 night stay at Hotel Ai Reali. The hotel is situated on a small canal off of the grand canal so it was accessible by foot or by vaporetto (water taxi) which was really convenient for the initial arrival from the train station with our luggage. The lobby of the hotel was small but welcoming with a few places to sit and many other rooms off of the lobby to explore. The hallways and stairwells were all large and were covered beautifully in white marble. You’ll also find Michelin rated Alle Corone just off of the lobby serving Mediterranean and Venetian style food (we didn't dine there during our short stay). Location: Venice is primarily a walking city making location very important, especially for our short stay. We loved that the hotel was only a few minutes walk to the Rialto Bridge which was great for shopping, restaurants and sightseeing. The Rialto bridge was also a perfect spot to catch a vaporetto to Murano/Burano or a gondola ride. Tip: The hotel has canal access and the vaporetto will drop you off and pick you up at Hotel Ai Reali. If you can manage to walk your luggage over the canal and to the Grand Canal (4 min walk) you can save EUR 20-30 on a vaporetto to the airport. Staff: The concierge at the hotel was very helpful. They quickly mapped out where we were and gave us directions to anywhere we needed. We even had a little rain and they had umbrellas available for us. The staff was always very attentive and friendly. Before we arrived we had emailed back and forth many times and they were helpful with restaurant recommendations and tour options. When we arrived at our room a bottle of prosecco was waiting there to welcome us to the property. Each evening housekeeping left our children candies on their pillow. These were small gestures that go a long way to make you feel welcome. Room: We selected a Junior Suite with Canal View for our stay so that we could comfortably sleep the 4 of us. The room was gigantic and adorned in gold with an old world Italian feel. There was a king-sized bed opposite a large pull-out sleeper sofa and enough space in the room for a large freestanding desk, an armoire and dresser. Even with all of our bags opened on luggage racks, we had plenty of open floor space to move around which was vastly different from some other European hotel rooms we have stayed in. While only 1 bathroom for the suite, it was large with a double sink, stand up shower, toilet, bidet and bathtub with a hand-held shower attachment. High-end toiletries were included and refilled daily if needed. In the center of the room was a chandelier which added to its elegance. There was also a Nespresso machine in the room, however, we chose to have fresh cappuccinos in the breakfast room. The room was spacious and comfortable, however, our room was on a low floor and we could hear music being played on the street in front of the hotel in the evening. Breakfast: Breakfast was located

We stayed here for my 50th birthday in December and fell in love with both the hotel and Venice. We booked through Easyjet as a package. We were so lucky with the weather – bright blue skies every day. Great service from when we arrived. We got there in the morning - much too early to check-in but they got our room ready so we only had to wait a few minutes. It was nice to unpack before we went back out. Our room was on the side of the hotel and you could see the gondola station (we took a ride on the morning of my birthday) and canal if you leant out of the window. We had a large room with separate sitting area and dressing room. It was beautifully decorated – whilst a little old fashioned, it was very much in the venetian style. Very clean and we liked the evening turn-down. Service was excellent – particularly at breakfast when the server welcomed us each morning and remembered our coffee orders. Breakfast was served in a beautiful room with painted ceilings and had a good selection of hot and cold food and lots of lovely local specialities - cakes, meats and cheese. If you want a fry-up I suggest you stay in the UK! A nice touch was the vintage prosecco that was included. The hotel even provided us with a free private taxi to the islands of Murano and Burano where you got a tour of the glass factory and the lace shop. I think they hope you might spend money there but there is no obligation to. It was a nice touch. Venice itself at this time of year was fairly quiet and local restaurants and cafes surprisingly inexpensive (if you avoid the main square). Some great *****nis - they don't do English measures! We also loved seeing all the people dressed as Santa Claus on the canals. My recommendation is to book a private water taxi to get there – great experience and we really did arrive in style. Coffee in the bar at the hotel was very expensive so avoid - there are plenty of places just outside the hotel. I have seen previous reviews saying that the hotel looks a bit tired but I guess we would all look a little bit tired if we were that old! We thought it was stunning and tbh, most of Venice is pretty tatty – it is part of the charm of this surreal location. We will be back!

Muy buena experiencia en este hotel. La habitación muy grande y limpia. El personal muy atento y tienen comida sin gluten. Además, está muy cerca del puente de la Academia que cruza el gran canal. También tienen restaurante en el mismo hotel. Por ello, lo recomiendo al 100%.

We stayed at this hotel end of March 2024 for our anniversary. The hotel was well situated for day excursions to Venice, with its own minibus to the city. The Hotel is beautifully presented with lovely architecture, the room we stayed in was spacious with comfortable bed plenty of room. The bathroom was large with a lovely shower and heated floor. We travelled into Venice during the day and ate at the hotels restaurant the Malipiero in the evenings. The menu was exceptional with fresh bread at the table, welcome glass of prosecco and canapes on arrival. We do eat out alot and i can say after the first night we didnt need to go any further. Fresh seafood and italian meat dishes, we couldnt fault it. The waiters and waitresses were really accomodating and friendy Viorica was one who made us feel so welcome. Breakfast again was superb with fresh coffees and selection of local pastries and meats. All in all I would highly recommend the Hotel and Staff. We stayed early in the season so unable to try the pool.

UBICACION Y TRANSPORTE: El hotel está ubicado en Giudeca, la isla de enfrente de Venecia. Es necesario un barco para ir. El hotel ofrece un servicio en barco cada 30 min desde san marco, por 15€ por persona y estancia. OJO, no es gratis, he visto comentarios que dicen que es gratis, y en el hotel me aseguraron que nunca ha sido gratuito. Si quieres coger los barcos de ACTV que son como buses marítimos, vale 9'50€ por 75min, y de ese modo lo puedes coger en otra parada que no sea san marco y vaya a la isla de Giudeca. Esto es importante tener en cuenta porque al precio del hotel tendrás que sumarle unos 30€ si vais en pareja, por el transporte al hotel por estar en otra isla. Tengo que decir que la isla es muy bonita , con restaurantes muy buenos y bien de precio y esta muy poco transitada, solo van allí locales, no hay turistas y los precios no son como los de restaurantes para turistas. En ese sentido muy recomendable para estar en una parte mas tranquila de Venecia. PERSONAL: es muy amable, aunque no hablan español. Antes del viaje intenté comunicarme por todos los medios vía mail, chat o mensaje con el hotel pero fue imposible. Así que si tienes consultas que hacer al hotel como lo del transporte , es imposible. HABITACIONES: cogí una suite para estar cómoda y no tener problemas, no escatimé en gastos. hay dos zonas, la zona nueva y la zona vieja, hay unas habitaciones que son las viejas y son mas antiguas. Por suerte me dieron las nuevas. Las nuevas están mas arregladas, pero está muy muy lejos de ser una calidad real de un hotel de 5 estrellas. Como arquitecta he de decir que no cumple los estándares de calidad de los hoteles de 5 estrellas. Los acabados son descuidados y los materiales de mala calidad. Todo el suelo de la habitación estaba sucio. Había polvo en todas partes, las lámparas estaban llenas de polvo. Las vistas desde la cama, eran la puerta y unos extractores enormes llenos de polvo. La silicona de la bañera estaba despegada y mal puesta. El espejo del baño parecía sacado de un bazar oriental, un diseño horrible para ser un Hilton 5 estrellas. el sellado de las baldosas era inexistente. Algo muy importante, hacia mucho frio en la habitación y me di cuenta que entraba mucho aire frio por la carpintería de la ventana, que era nueva pero debía estar mal colocada. Aun poniendo las cortinas y la calefacción, seguía entrando muy frio. una pena que una obra nueva esté en esas condiciones. En todos los hoteles que he estado, y son unos cuantos, ya sean de 2,3,4 o 5 estrellas, los amenities de las habitaciones como el te o café, es gratis ( no las bebidas ni el alcohol, obviamente) pues en este hotel hay que pagar 6 euros por un te de sobre caducado y del mas barato que te puedas encontrar. Me lo tomé pensando que estaba incluido como en todas partes. Me indispuso por completo. me arrepiento por que en la misma calle del hotel había una cafetería muy agradable que me habrían puesto uno mejor y mejor de precio. En fin, un despropósito pagar lo que vale la noche del hotel para obtener eso, no merece la pena.

Disappointed by the level of service and outdated hotel. For that very pricy 4 stars hotel, I would have appreciated a higher level.. the staff was not particularly friendly neither helpful. The room was very dark with casi no natural light, not renovated like the booking picture. The bathtub was broken, they send someone that didn’t care of it and said it was indeed broken, reception didn’t propose anything in exchange. I ended up trying to fix myself for 1/2h. Bit sad.. also the Jacuzzi/public bath or gym are not accessible for free. You have to pay and book ahead.. you would imagine it’s included in the price. Positive side: very well located in the center, in the main luxury street, explain the price I guess? The rooftop is really the highlight with beautiful sunset, where we drunk our complementary bottle. The breakfast is really good, one of the best so far. Will not come back, not worthy.
