The hotel is within 5 minutes walking distance from Venezia Santa Lucia Station, very convenient if you are planning to travel between cities with train. The hotel service excellent breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was beyond expectations, spacious, cozy and beautiful design. No complain, a great deal indeed.

Disappointed by the level of service and outdated hotel. For that very pricy 4 stars hotel, I would have appreciated a higher level.. the staff was not particularly friendly neither helpful. The room was very dark with casi no natural light, not renovated like the booking picture. The bathtub was broken, they send someone that didn’t care of it and said it was indeed broken, reception didn’t propose anything in exchange. I ended up trying to fix myself for 1/2h. Bit sad.. also the Jacuzzi/public bath or gym are not accessible for free. You have to pay and book ahead.. you would imagine it’s included in the price. Positive side: very well located in the center, in the main luxury street, explain the price I guess? The rooftop is really the highlight with beautiful sunset, where we drunk our complementary bottle. The breakfast is really good, one of the best so far. Will not come back, not worthy.

The facility is old but all well functional. Anyways this building can be traced back to year 1879. All the staff are very friendly. They have upgraded our room because of honeymoon, really appreciate that. The interior decoration is very vintage and classic. The breakfast is really out of our expectation. Overall a very cost effective choice! Also, the location is great and it is quite near to the train station, no need to take your luggage to cross the bridges! Overall highly recommend for its cost effective!

It feels like I have discovered hidden gems. The surroundings are so beautiful, and the service of the hotel is superb. Preserving the exterior of the classic hotel, the interior has been renovated modernly. My mom uses a wheelchair, and the hotel gave the wheelchair user the best room. Also, I would like to compliment the chef who prepared the breakfast. Fresh and diverse fruits are prepared more than the famous four-star hotel, and the food is all delicious. Offering luxurious service for the price, this hotel is comparable to the name of a villa. This hotel is far from a train station, bus terminal, and public parking lot, but it is close to the airport, dock, and beach. We stayed in Venice for 18 nights and 19 days because my mom is sick, and if you are a traveler who can afford time like us, you'd better stay at Lido Island, travel to the surrounding islands, and enjoy the beach through this hotel.

A short stay before flight in early morning. Very friendly staff with efficient checkin and booking of airport shuttle (at a fee of 7.5 euros). Free croissants and fruits if you don't have time for breakfast - so considerate! The hotel has a cosy family style restaurant though I had not time to enjoy. Very convenient location just 10 mins away from airport. Would highly recommend this hotel if you are flying in/out of VCE airport.

Great location, very convenient for getting around. The room was acceptable overall, and the cleaners were average. However, there were several drawbacks: no mirror or desk in the room, a very small bathroom that was hardly usable, and a low ceiling that made moving around quite difficult.

Review of the hotel - firstly you can't find Pensione wildner on Google. If you find, it will come with a street in campa Salvador and that street has no hotel. That's where we ended up. If you search for wildner only(which we didn't, it only shows a restaurant). The hotel is dated however clean so can't fault that. The AC or heater in the room doesn't work, it works as a fan only which was terrible. We were in room 28 There is no lift in the hotel, wasn't an issue for us as we're only 2 floors up but I am sure it would be a concern for some. The location is excellent as it's right opposite the water taxi so easy for someone coming on the boat from the railway station or airport. City tax is only taken in cash and it's 7 Euros per night (perfectly fine as we had cash but be prepared in case you travel with card only) The worse part of the hotel was the restaurant. No smile from the person, it felt like a fast food place, they come and throw food on the table, Ask no questions. They apparently offer cappuccino but it was coffee with water (perhaps it was from a machine and not barista made). All you get for 2 X people is 2 X small buns and 2 plain croissant loaded with a load of sugar on the top and a boiled egg each. No option for scrambled egg or ask for anything that's freshly made. Canned fruits were provided in Day 1 and 3 - day 2 we were told no fruits. It's at the waterfront but majority of the rooms aren't waterfront. Correct location on Google maps, Working AC, quality breakfast and friendly service would have made it a 4-5 star review. The curtains in the room don't close fully so if you are tiny bit sensitive to light then you would hate being woken up between 5-7am each day on your holiday - this was the worst part

There's steps at the entrance to the hotel. It is not suitable for travellers with heavy luggage. I travelled with my son. There's flying insects in the 1st room thus we were offered another room for our 2nd to 4th night. Both single beds were too soft. I got backache after the trip. The 2nd room offered was located facing the alley where you could be disturbed by the drunken drinkers at night. No air conditioned thus windows need to be opened at night.

Located in near the Rialto Bridge and within walking distance of Saint Marcos Square it’s perfect for a budget conscious traveller. The bedroom was spacious and clean. I was there during carnival and my only complaint was the noise front the drinks at night but this isn’t something g the hotel can fix. Breakfast buffet was sumptuous but needed a little more variety for my taste.

Great room and clean. Check in and Pick up the key is in other location, about 10 mints walk and need to return again
