Bellissima esperienza,ha lasciato un po’ a desiderare solo la vista della camera. Personale qualificato e gentile.

The hotel location was superb - it is located near the entrance to a canal close to the northwestern part of the island, so getting here by water taxi from the airport is simple. It is a 5 minute walk to the train station when we were leaving, which made our departure stress-free, and also a short walk to the Rialto path that takes you straight to St Marks. This boutique hotel has simple and elegant furnishings, was super clean, and the staff was extremely polite and helpful - always welcoming and asking us if we needed anything. The breakfast was the best we had in any Italy hotel and was quite generous portion sizes - yogurt with granola, fruit, coffee, bread, meats/cheeses, and a selection of an a la carte item. All of the food was made in the hotel’s charming 1-star michelin restaurant, Dama (which we also enjoyed) - nothing was canned or packaged. We stayed in the top floor room with a terrace that has a lovely view of the city. I highly recommend this hotel!

UBICACION Y TRANSPORTE: El hotel está ubicado en Giudeca, la isla de enfrente de Venecia. Es necesario un barco para ir. El hotel ofrece un servicio en barco cada 30 min desde san marco, por 15€ por persona y estancia. OJO, no es gratis, he visto comentarios que dicen que es gratis, y en el hotel me aseguraron que nunca ha sido gratuito. Si quieres coger los barcos de ACTV que son como buses marítimos, vale 9'50€ por 75min, y de ese modo lo puedes coger en otra parada que no sea san marco y vaya a la isla de Giudeca. Esto es importante tener en cuenta porque al precio del hotel tendrás que sumarle unos 30€ si vais en pareja, por el transporte al hotel por estar en otra isla. Tengo que decir que la isla es muy bonita , con restaurantes muy buenos y bien de precio y esta muy poco transitada, solo van allí locales, no hay turistas y los precios no son como los de restaurantes para turistas. En ese sentido muy recomendable para estar en una parte mas tranquila de Venecia. PERSONAL: es muy amable, aunque no hablan español. Antes del viaje intenté comunicarme por todos los medios vía mail, chat o mensaje con el hotel pero fue imposible. Así que si tienes consultas que hacer al hotel como lo del transporte , es imposible. HABITACIONES: cogí una suite para estar cómoda y no tener problemas, no escatimé en gastos. hay dos zonas, la zona nueva y la zona vieja, hay unas habitaciones que son las viejas y son mas antiguas. Por suerte me dieron las nuevas. Las nuevas están mas arregladas, pero está muy muy lejos de ser una calidad real de un hotel de 5 estrellas. Como arquitecta he de decir que no cumple los estándares de calidad de los hoteles de 5 estrellas. Los acabados son descuidados y los materiales de mala calidad. Todo el suelo de la habitación estaba sucio. Había polvo en todas partes, las lámparas estaban llenas de polvo. Las vistas desde la cama, eran la puerta y unos extractores enormes llenos de polvo. La silicona de la bañera estaba despegada y mal puesta. El espejo del baño parecía sacado de un bazar oriental, un diseño horrible para ser un Hilton 5 estrellas. el sellado de las baldosas era inexistente. Algo muy importante, hacia mucho frio en la habitación y me di cuenta que entraba mucho aire frio por la carpintería de la ventana, que era nueva pero debía estar mal colocada. Aun poniendo las cortinas y la calefacción, seguía entrando muy frio. una pena que una obra nueva esté en esas condiciones. En todos los hoteles que he estado, y son unos cuantos, ya sean de 2,3,4 o 5 estrellas, los amenities de las habitaciones como el te o café, es gratis ( no las bebidas ni el alcohol, obviamente) pues en este hotel hay que pagar 6 euros por un te de sobre caducado y del mas barato que te puedas encontrar. Me lo tomé pensando que estaba incluido como en todas partes. Me indispuso por completo. me arrepiento por que en la misma calle del hotel había una cafetería muy agradable que me habrían puesto uno mejor y mejor de precio. En fin, un despropósito pagar lo que vale la noche del hotel para obtener eso, no merece la pena.

Fabulous location,not too close to the crazyness of St Marks square during Carnival, but close to the railway station,water bus and bridge over the Grand Canal. staff extremely helpful, nothing too much trouble. lovely room, no tea or coffee making facilities in the room but there is a safe and a mini bar. Breakfast was very nice self service,good selection. will definitely be going again next year at the same time.

We capped off 10 days in Italy at the Aman Venice, and we had high hopes. Most of our expectations were met, but there are a few items that were sorely disappointing, so it's tough to say that, overall, we found the experience worth the money. Let me start by saying this: The level of service in the hotel generally is top-notch. We were greeted by the general manager on arrival and there was always someone there to open a door or offer assistance. Kudos for this. The hang-up is this: Our room (the basic level bedroom--number 3) was not really *in* the Palazzo. It was, in a literal sense, but it was down an outdoor corridor on the first (lobby) floor and, unfortunately, one door down from the public bathroom. (Room 3 is also accessible by walking through a lobby gift shop, not really what I consider a prime location.) The room was spacious and well appointed, but wholly devoid of any Venice-specific detail. (There were what appeared to be historic brick columns, but we could have been in an New York City loft, or anywhere really.) What had been advertised has having a view of the private garden ”below” (alongside a picture of a bed next to a large sunny window) was not what we encountered. The windows in our room were small and situated at the top of the wall, giving the impression that we were not looking down at a garden, but instead that we were in a subterranean bunker. Our wifi signal likewise suggested we were in a bunker--it was spotty even within the confines of our room. This, along with all of the lack of privacy that comes from being on the lobby floor, next to the only public bathroom on the floor, and the noise of people coming and going. I get it. You get what you pay for, and we did not spring for a suite, so maybe we shouldn't complain. But shouldn't the room at least fit the description advertised by the hotel? At very least, the hotel should clarify that these rooms are on the lobby level and, as a result, are not private and secure from non-guests coming and going. Back to not being ”in” the Palazzo -- because of the strange location of our room, we literally entered the hotel three or four times. And the hotel is where all of the beautiful and historic details and (I assume, privacy) are. Instead we came and went thru the back entrance to the property which was directly next to the door to the public bathroom next to our room. We would have been more understanding had we not booked a room that included a guaranteed category upgrade if available. I presume the hotel will respond and say that the upgrade offer was only one level, and the level directly above us was full. But the hotel had availability the entirety of our stay, so why not allow us to stay in a nicer, empty room? Or upgrade someone else and let us have their room? I don't expect or feel entitled to upgrades ever, but I do a bit more when they are offered as part of the rate package and, in this case, we were on our honeymoon. Seems like an exception to

This was a pleasant discovery. We reached the hotel late at night and we were greeted by a rather terse front desk person. Yet. after checking in we walked up to a room on the top floor that was nicely furnished and had a comfortable bed (perfect after our long flight). The hotel has character yet it has all the needed modern amenities. We will definitely stay there again! The only minor issue was that it was bit hard to find the entrance.

Super comfortable and super nice hotel, very nice restaurant and very helpful staff. My wife and i enjoyed the beds, shower, and spectacular room. Breakfast here is amazing. I would not go to anywhere to have breakfast! You won’t get any better food rather then here! If you are traveling here for visiting Venezia, stay here! 24H will take you to island and back for less then 40 minutes. I will definitely come back to this hotel for sure!

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Easy to get to, right across from the trains and buses. I actually made a mistake on booking the dates and they were able to accommodate the change last minute so I can't knock them for that. A great place for a home base to explore Venice Unfortunately that's about where it ends. I don't usually leave bad reviews for hotels but they left me no choice. We checked in at around 2PM and were given a room right next to the elevator and cafeteria. Immediately we noticed the B.O smell walking to our room. It was really bad. Rooms are very tiny which is fine since the city itself is small. Anywhere we check in we make sure to inspect the rooms for bed bugs, and cleanliness. It was satisfactory when we arrived. The safe wasn't working so we had to call for a tech and waited for him to come fix it. We left to explore the city and arrived back at night. I was in the cafeteria ordering food but my wife went to the room and went straight to the bathroom but when I came in I immediately noticed a terrible odor. I looked on the floor and noticed there were brown spots all over the floor. I called the receptionist and he was very apologetic and questioned if it was on our luggage or shoes which we immediately showed him it wasn't. He changed our rooms to next door. We were only in Venice for 1.5 days basically and was too tired to deal with it so we did not check the current room (which admittedly was our own fault.) The room they gave us was dirty and had blood stains in the bathroom on the toilet that we didn't notice until checkout. At that point with the condescending response we just wanted to leave and get out of there. The next day we spoke to someone in charge and he was extremely condescending and basically insinuated that this was our own doing and our fault. We requested to speak to a manager in charge but they weren't there at the day, and requested a call back but that never came. They did however email us and insinuated the same thing that this was our own doing and our own fault. The entire exchange was very unprofessional. They blamed us saying we brought it in with our luggage and placed it on our bed (which I don't know anyone who does this but i digress) but we showed the reception that night and if we did have it on our luggage it would've dragged across the lobby and carpet. The only thing I can conclude is they let someone into our room OR accidently assigned a room to someone and realized their mistake. Something like this would be immediately noticed when we first checked into the room if it came from us. Since the room was so small the smell immediately hits you and is visible as soon as the door opens. Again, I rarely place any bad reviews for hotels but this one I had to with their unprofessional response. They need training in customer service.
