The beachfront location was indeed stunning, but the beach itself felt overcrowded and neglected, with trash and debris left unattended. The accommodations were underwhelming, with the room feeling more dated than luxurious. The lack of attention to detail was evident in the tired furnishings and lack of proper maintenance. I encountered issues with cleanliness, and the absence of a ventilation system in the bathroom made it a humid and unpleasant space. Dining at Andaz Maui was a disappointing experience, mainly due to the exorbitant prices for mediocre food. The breakfast buffet, though featuring a variety of options, was far from worth the cost, leaving me feeling like I had been taken advantage of as a guest. The staff's overall service was inconsistent, with some members appearing disinterested and unresponsive to guest needs. It was evident that the resort lacked a cohesive approach to guest satisfaction, resulting in an unmemorable and disheartening stay. While the resort's location offered access to nearby attractions, the lack of shuttle services or convenient transportation options made it a hassle to explore the area. In conclusion, Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort fell short of providing the luxury experience I had anticipated. The lackluster accommodations, disappointing dining options, and hit-or-miss service left me feeling dissatisfied with my stay. I would caution potential guests to carefully consider their expectations and alternatives before choosing this resort for their Hawaiian vacation.
