We booked in advance. Being full time caregivers to our adult disabled son, much planning goes into our mini get aways. Mini because we do not want to be too far away from our son. We phoned the hotel directly, spoke to front desk staff. We were very clear in the room we wanted. We confirmed with the staff person, 3x to confirm they booked the correct room. Our get away arrived, we checked in shortly after 5pm. Got up to our room . The view and the table n chairs were not in the room. Talked to Alex at front desk. He upgraded us, extra cost, he said had no authority to wave the cost and conveniently the manager is unavailable weekends. The room we confirmed 3x was not available to us until Saturday. My husband emailed the manager Saturday morning. This is now Sunday night and no response from the manager, Sharan. Sandhu. The room they first put us in, had holes in the flooring. Second room, had beautiful view, the glass cover on deck had missing pain of glass, much of deck got wet and floors not cleaned well, food and rocks on the floor. Depending on management and how they address this shortfall, their mistake, we might consider returning. Not a fan of having to pay for parking. Considering there is no free parking any where in the area. Should be built into cost of the room, considering cost per night.

We are BW frequent guests in the highest member category and were staying here on points. At check-in, the front desk clerk said he would have to charge a $150 deposit. I refused and offered to cancel our reservation and go elsewhere. This was a simple, somewhat outdated motel with no restaurant or amenities and I saw no reason for a deposit. The clerk explained that some of their guests damaged their rooms. I assured him that would not happen with two senior citizens with a long track-record with Best Western. He called his manager, Mr. Sav Singh, who apparently refused to waive the deposit. Next the clerk suggested that I give him $150 in cash which he would return the next morning at checkout. Again I refused. This argument went on for quite some time and I told him it was getting late and we needed to go elsewhere. He finally relented and we got into our room which was clean and serviceable but very old looking with lamp electrical outlets and room fridge quite worn out. The clerk had kept insisting that he had to collect a deposit because it was the policy at their property. Afterwards, I went back to their website because I didn't know how I had missed that. The policy posted on the website states, ”Pet Policy: Pets allowed with restrictions, $20 per day with $150 refundable deposit (due at check-in).” As we had no pet, it was completely out of line for the clerk or the manager to demand a deposit from us. After staying at Best Westerns often for the past 20+ years, we can say this was the most unpleasant of all!

優點：裝修稱得上4星酒店，交通位置方便，安靜，安全，前台服務到位，在這個價位可以稱性價比高 缺點：沒有冰箱，沒有室內泳池，床上有幾根頭髮，另外這家酒店空調調到32度也吹冷風，住了兩次都是這樣，最後吐槽酒店合作的停車場，明明跟前台說了車牌號也自己確認過車牌號無誤，酒店系統錄入了我的車牌號，停車場還是第二天給我擋風玻璃貼了警示說這是酒店停車位，好在沒有罰單或拖走

We had a very good room with plenty of room and comfortable bed. There is an automatic light in the bathroom which seemed to go on and off as it pleased! We had a daily cleaning service. We were on the ground floor and it was a bit noisy at times. Reception staff were mixed, either very friendly or very cold towards you. Breakfast was standard for this type of hotel. Ample parking (with homeless person living in his car in the car park but he didn’t bother anyone). Tesla charging station in part of the car park which got quite busy. Good proximity to restaurants and shops and near main road. Short drive to Scott Road sky train station which was useful.

Stayed here before years ago, and that experience wasn't great, but since it been such a long time, I thought I'd give them another try as the reviews looked good in general. Checking in and checking out front desk staff was friendly and attentive and recognized my Diamond tier status right away. The cookies they have at check-in we're pretty tasty. The property while nothing to write home about, was clean and well kept, and felt safe overall. Parking spots were super narrow, so if you have a bigger car space maybe hard to come by on either side. Lobby and common areas and hallways all looked clean and up-to-date didn't notice any issues at all. Room was clean, and well kept. But the room did have two problems, 1. the bed was hard as a rock, and not very comfortable at all to me. I found the sofa bed (hide a bed) to be more comfortable than the king size regular bed 2. The light fixtures had a mixture of soft White, daylight bulbs making the room look off based on the light coloring. Breakfast had a good selection of the normal fare you'd find out a Comfort Inn cereal oatmeal fruit pastries etc. Warm food included eggs and potatoes, but the eggs were obviously powdered eggs and we're basically inedible I took one bite and couldn't stomach anymore, the potatoes were cold and rubbery, but at least they were edible and were actually real potatoes. Maybe they should have whoever prepares the cookies, be in charge of making breakfast, as the cookies were far superior to anything we had for breakfast there. I ended up with a better breakfast from Tim Hortons next door, while quite a bit less healthy, but at least it was actually hot and real food and had palatable coffee. Overall the hotel looks nice, and maybe suitable for some, for me it was only good for one night, but I probably won't return.

HVAC was primitive. A hard blow or nothing, and the temperature control was balky. No restaurant. Could choose between 4 or 5 bag breakfasts, which could be picked up in the morning. None of the egg versions were appealing (we tried once), so after the first day we had the oatmeal each morning. Heated the instant oatmeal in the microwave. There was no convenient place for a second person to eat. One drawer in the whole room, and it was just deep enough for a Bible and a Book of Morman. We moved out without using our bonus fifth day and took up residence in the Sheraton three blocks away. That was a wonderful stay.

The place is centrally located next to “gateway” station and takes 30 mins to go downtime. The staff is superb and treat you like family. Especially Tarun who is on night duty and manager Mrs Nav Would highly recommend this place

Had stayed in this hotel before the pandemic and liked it. I had business in the lower mainland and chose to stay here again, 3 nights. Was not disappointed. The hotel is well maintained except for an elevator that was out of service the entire time. I opted for a single king bed with sofa bed; the room was comfortable, well provisioned and clean. The bed was a little soft for my taste. Breakfast is included and includes one hot egg, meat, and potato option each, a self made waffle station, both hot and cold cereal station, breads & pasties with toasters, and beverages. If you need to leave early, a bagged breakfast can be requested. Will stay again. My one suggestion would be, if you like to sleep in a darker room, or with the window open, chose a room on the back. Lights from the car dealership across the road are bright and on all night, and Langley Bypass is a busy road even at 3 AM.
