Ulasan New Otani Inn Yokohama Premium

First, the pros: 1. Sakuragicho is one of Yokohama's busiest commercial areas, and the hotel is right next to Sakuragicho Station with a fantastic night view. 2. There's a large shopping mall directly below the hotel, with a supermarket on the B1 floor, making it very convenient to buy things in the evening. 3. Compared to rooms of the same price in Tokyo, it's much more spacious, at least not cramped. If you're familiar with Japan's railway system, you can definitely book here. 4. The service is good; empty plates are cleared immediately after you finish eating. Cons: 1. The breakfast selection isn't very extensive, even a bit sparse. There's only one type of cake and less than 5 types of bread. However, there are a few decent 'signature dishes,' like shrimp dumplings. The curry beef rice is also quite unique. But compared to the Washington Hotel next door, the breakfast is much worse; the latter offers sushi, sashimi, various stews, and a much wider variety of desserts. 2. Both the restaurant and the lobby are not very large, and the restaurant seating is quite dense, which can feel a bit stifling when crowded. 3. The TV remote control in my room was not very responsive; I had to press it many times for it to work. This really shouldn't be happening; it's a small issue but significantly impacts the experience.

Booked this hotel for a friend; it's quite cost-effective with good service and convenient access. The hotel's scenic rooms offer a view of the Ferris wheel, though we didn't manage to book one this time. Looking forward to staying there again in the future.

I had a very pleasant stay at New Otani Inn. The staff member who checked me in was exceptionally nice, kind, and welcoming. She even kindly allowed me to check in 30 minutes earlier than the official check-in time, which I really appreciated. She was also the same staff member who assisted me with my check-out, and her service was consistently warm and professional throughout my stay. I also really loved the ReFa hairdryer provided in the room—it was a great touch! The breakfast was good and enjoyable, although I felt that the selection was a little limited and could have had more options. One area that could be improved is the TV. It wasn’t very smart, and I couldn’t use streaming services such as Netflix or YouTube. Having a smart TV with these options would make the room experience even better. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and especially appreciated the excellent service from the staff. I would be happy to stay again.

Within walking distance of Piamm, you can use a skybridge all the way without encountering any traffic lights. The hotel is located right above a shopping mall, and there's a 24-hour 7-Eleven just outside on the second floor. You can enjoy great views of the bay and the Ferris wheel from the hallway window.

I've stayed at this hotel many times. This time, however, the service wasn't great, especially at the front desk. I booked a room with breakfast and dinner. I had other plans, so I wanted to cancel dinner. I informed the front desk a day in advance, but they weren't able to help me with that.

Prime location with lovely few of Yokohama. Comfortable for family of 4 with big luggages. Has a 7-11 downstairs which is great for grabbing a quick bite late night.

Loved the view from our room. The staff were very accommodating, and the breakfast buffet was delicious!

This hotel is incredibly convenient, located right above the JR station and connected to a shopping mall with stores like Uniqlo and Muji. There's a grocery store on the basement level with super affordable sashimi and sushi. You can easily walk to the Red Brick Warehouse and Yamashita Park by the sea, making for a pleasant evening stroll. While the breakfast selection isn't huge, everything is delicious. Each floor has an ice machine and vending machines. For a hotel in Japan at this price point, the rooms are quite spacious, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. It's super easy to get to places like Kamakura, Odawara, or even Tokyo from here, and all the main attractions in Yokohama itself are within walking distance. Compared to the InterContinental I stayed at last time I was in Yokohama, this place offers so much more value for money; the InterContinental was triple the price for one night! It's also more cost-effective than staying in Tokyo, where hotels generally offer even less value. Highly recommend!

Excellent, with convenient transportation and comfortable rooms.

The hotel's location right next to the JR station is fantastic, and there's a shopping mall downstairs, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. It's also about a 10-minute walk to Sogo, and you get incredible ocean views from the higher floors. Excellent value for money!
