The hotel was lovely. The location was quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and modern. The only downside was the double bed, which was two twin beds pushed together, with separate mattresses, blankets and sheets. The breakfast could also use some better/more options. Otherwise, our stay was perfect, and I would recommend.

This hotel is budget and basic but absolutely perfect for a few days visiting Amsterdam. We were very pleased to get off the train from Schiphol via Sloterdijk and find the hotel was a 2-3 minute walk from the station. Zaandam is also a lovely place with lots of shops, cafes and bars. We didn’t explore beyond the Main Street but I’m also told the windmill tour isn’t far away in Zaanse-Schans. Reception staff very friendly, coffee machine in the lobby charges €1.50 for a cappuccino. There’s no breakfast facilities but plenty of cafes within walking distance. also a large supermarket across the street. Room is small but clean with a good view of surrounding area. The shower wouldn’t be out of place in a 5 star hotel, it was brilliant. 10 mins on the train to Amsterdam Centraal and the trains run from around 6am till 1am every 15 minutes.

Amazing hotel from the outside and the inside. Beautiful view from top floor. The hotel is near train station and the main colourful road. Next to entrance is McDonald and a lot of shops. Extremely helpful and nice crew. The room so big and comfy. The bathroom with sauna and shower and bubbles bath is perfect combination to fully relax. The hotel have one floor for wellness with pool and sauna and gym. Breakfast is excellent, a lot to choose and tasty. The TV is on rotating stand and you can watch from every place in the room. It was extremely refreshing and delicious experience. I will be coming back for sure. It is 100% of pleasure and 100% of joy to stay there. I recommend the hotel in 200%

A good base from Centraal around 15 mins on the train, very easy to go in and out every day and trains run very often. Recommend taking a trip to Zaanse Schans too as it’s so close. Hotel itself is a 5 minute walk from Zaandam station, with a supermarket and many shops nearby. We were happy with the room, lots of storage space and modern. We could spot part of the train line from our room but noise was very minimal and we hardly noticed it at all. The only thing we encountered was that whilst we were able to check in an hour early because our room was marked as ready, upon arriving to the room one side of the bed had clearly not been changed. We managed to catch a maid outside and she kindly said she would change it. We left her to it but upon arriving back to the room later in the day she hadn’t put a duvet on, so we had to ring reception. They sorted it within 10 mins and brought a new one up. I also felt the pillows for the bed were quite small but it wasn’t a huge issue. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, particularly Melvin who worked in the bar at dinner. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they let us keep our luggage behind the desk after check out, so that we could go and enjoy our last few hours in Amsterdam before heading back to the airport!

Zero stars based on customer service, and management. We booked our stay three months in advance, to arrive at the hotel to find our reservation was in the hotels system for the wrong dates. A ‘system error’. We were assigned a room that I did not book, I booked a specific room type. I complained straight away, which resulted in a wild goose chase. I was promised a ‘refund’. This whole ordeal really had a negative impact on our stay, as we were looking forward to staying in a room that we booked three months prior. It took 26 days to receive a very small compensation. Management informed me that the hotel might have changed my room type based on the number of people on my booking. Which they have no right to do, as their own website allowed me to make my booking without an issue. The hotel stopped responding to me after some time aswell which is severely unprofessional. It’s such a pity as the hotel itself was very nice, but the attitude/behaviour of management is really off putting, and I would not recommend anyone to stay here just incase an issue arises, there is a good chance your problem will not be resolved.

Clean room good location. 10 minutes walk to train station. 10 minutes with train to Amsterdam central. Breakfast nearby for 2.50 per person. Friendly and helpful staff. Zaanse schans ver lovely. Slept good.
