The hospitable elder sister always invites everyone to eat. Fijian specialties: fish, cassava, pineapples, bananas, you name it. The B&B is located four or five minutes by the sea. It is 5 kilometers and half an hour by car to Nadi Town, and then you can transfer to Lautoka or other places, which is very convenient. The most important staff are extremely enthusiastic and the Fijian people are very friendly! Thank you!

The staff were very friendly and helpful during my stay with them. I had noticed a bedsheet was not completely clean, but I was able to find cleaning staff easily and they were able to resolve the problem quickly. The Epic Transfers and Tours staff were especially helpful when I had an incident with a taxi driver that was unpleasant to me. The rooftop pool and bar was nice in appearance and the bar was nicely used, but the pool water was cold and nobody was using it. Additionally, although being a non-smoking hotel, there appeared to be old bins at the lifts / elevators with the cigarette ashtray-like tops on them; to be a non-smoking location, it needs to be clearly demonstrated as being just that, particularly where some countries still allow smoking in their hotels. The biggest concern outside the hotel rooms, though, was the buffet breakfasts, which sometimes had soiled tongs used by other guests that were not being replaced quickly enough with clean tongs; food safety needs to be a serious concern for any establishment serving food. The room itself looked rather clean, had a patio looking at the wooded area out back; however, the patio door was not easy to lock and this was a bit of a concern with insects being readily present. There was also a sofa that could convert into a sofa bed, but it looked like it had a dent in the left arm. The bathroom was often stocked with new toiletries, perhaps too often as I was receiving a new bar of soap every day, but there was also mould trying to seep through the grouting behind the sink; I did inspect this and it seemed to be contained completely within the grouting, but it is a concern to be resolved soon. Additionally, though, the bathroom would sometimes smell horrible, as if you could smell sewage from the ventilation; there was a floor drain that could be the cause of this, but the ceiling ventilation looked like it needed cleaning and it was not sealed properly to the ceiling, either. There was a toilet paper holder, but it was poorly placed and it was evident it replaced another toilet roll holder that was in the correct location. Inside the shower, there was what appeared to be a stain running vertically down the wall where the shower head was located. The towels were kept clean and most had proper hotel labels on them, but some had the name of the hotel written on them, seemingly with a permanent marker, which was quite strange, especially for a hotel with a 4* rating. The hotel has a 4* rating on Trip.com and has the amenities to be that, but the quality of those amenities needs to support their existence; otherwise, they cannot be considered. The staff were friendly and trying to make the stay as nice for me as they possibly could manage, so the issues mainly appear to be from a failure of the management and ownership not regularly checking the rooms and updating the quality and ambience of its hotel. Simply having 4* amenities does not automatically make a hotel 4* and although Trip.com has it listed as 4*, I would rank this as being a 3* hotel at the moment as they need to make further improvements to the hotel so that the quality of the amenities will make for a valid 4* rating in the future.  When looking at the hotel via any booking site, check out the other sites, too, and look up the hotel website, too, as that should exist. The images I saw on Trip.com were quite enticing, but they also include a picture of Jack’s of Fiji, which was not available on site, and random pictures of the outdoors that were nowhere near the hotel as it is located more inland and not by the ocean. The hotel is the biggest and most expensive element of any holiday/ vacation, so it is important to spend more time investigating each eligible hotel prior to seeking a room, and do not feel rushed by websites telling you there are only so many rooms left; there are many hotels in each location, so there are always options available.

This hotel is perfect for those who prefer to relax and enjoy their vacation at the hotel rather than spending time sunbathing on an island. The hotel boasts several restaurants with excellent food. My favorite room type was the one with direct pool access from the balcony. These rooms, situated on either side of the central garden, feature their own private, long pool, where you can watch the sunset. The facilities are relatively new. The sand on the beach is quite dark due to the black coral rocks, but since I'm not a fan of beach activities, this didn't affect my enjoyment of the holiday.

This was the second time we have stayed at the Palms. Will definitely stay again in the future because it is so convenient to Port Denarau. The 2 bedroom apartment is spacious with 2 bathrooms , full kitchen and lounge. We had ground floor which had an outdoor seating area Higher floors had balconies. We walked there from the Port after our 6 days in the Yasawa Islands.

Had a good nights stay at the hotel. Did what was exactly required before we left Fiji after spending our time on the islands. Room was specious, clean and had had lots to offer with cooking/laundry facilities in the room. Even though we was staying the one night, the stay were very friendly and went out their way to ensure we had a great stay. The restaurant and bar area were also good for a short stay, with entertainment on at night. Would definitely recommend for a short stay like ourselves.

Very good hotel, exceeded expectations. I checked into the Sheraton after returning from the outer islands. As soon as I arrived, I was infected by the enthusiasm of the concierge and the front desk. The hotel public area is very beautiful and the room is very clean. The hotel can directly check in for Fiji Airways, which saves a lot of time. The only complaint is that the food in the restaurant is a bit bad. The buffet breakfast is very average except for omelet. There are many employees in the catering department, but many of them are slacking off. I hope it can be improved.

It's right next to the main road, and the entrance is quite close to the road. It's a little far from the city, but it's very close by taxi. The hotel is close to the sea, and the rooms are also close to the sea. From the room, you can see many fish swimming in the sea. It's just not convenient to take a taxi.

The location of the hotel is good. The surrounding museums, city halls, etc. and shopping in the market are all within walking distance, so there is no need to consider parking and transportation. Check out time is 11am, not 10am like most hotels in Nadi. There is no free wifi in the room, but there is in the public area. It is very convenient to go to the pool or beach chairs to rest and surf the Internet at night. The Fiji Museum is smaller than I expected, and just in time for some openings. The main exhibitions are not open. It is a pity that it is said to be fully open at the end of the year. The museum store is a bit hidden and not very eye-catching. The door is closed, but it is actually open. I bought 1 A painting of Tapabhu. When coming to Suva again, holiday inn will be the first choice

The location is a bit challenging to find even taxi drivers doesnt know how to locate it. When I booked the place I was not able to check in early thought the room that I booked has really good amenities and peaceful too.

I stayed at the hotel for 18 days,last month and some staff are very nice and friendly specially the catering, and cleaners, the overall we pay for our stay is far expensive as it is but the condition is not matching enough with what we pay for as the room has cockroaches going around near the basin area, and in the bedroom, specially night time goes in your bed, I complained so many times with nothing being done, the whole room needs upgrading, they need more washing machines as it was heavy rains throughout the week with only 1/2 machines being used all the time and i ended up going to families place with my loads of washing, even though it’s convenient to Lautoka town, the food is the same every morning but it caters for everyone is trully a blessing as staff there are very supportive, friendly, otherwise the whole Hotel needs a new Face with new maintenance to match with class, and worth for our moneys worth🙏🏽
