I hate to say it, but my stay at this hotel was a real letdown from start to finish. When I arrived, the reception desk didn't exactly roll out the red carpet. I felt like I was bothering them just by checking in, which isn't the warm welcome you hope for after a long journey. As I made my way to my room, I couldn't help but notice the hallways could use a good clean. Things didn't improve much when I got to my room. The bathroom had some cleanliness issues that made me pretty uncomfortable, and the kitchenette looked like it hadn't seen a good scrub in ages. There were stains on the tiles that I'm pretty sure weren't part of the original decor. Hoping to salvage my stay, I asked about switching rooms. They said they could do it, but only if I coughed up an extra 90€. Talk about adding insult to injury! I tried to speak with the manager to sort things out, but apparently, he was too busy to chat. Instead, I was told to email my complaints. Not exactly the personal touch I was looking for. At this point, I'd had enough and asked for a refund so I could find somewhere else to stay. No dice on that front either. Left with no other options, I packed up my bags and booked it to another hotel.

Great location walking distance of many attractions and by the metro and bus stops. Located by many cafes and shops. I didn't have to go too far to eat or drinks. Very friendly staff in the hotel. Breakfast options very limited. Only provide soya milk no other non dairy free mil options. The room was comfortable just one thing to add the plugs should be more accessible. I liked the idea that you can decline housekeeping for day or so. When they did come to clean room the cup was not replaced with new cup and no toilet paper. Overall I would stay here again as it's central and lovely staff.

I really like this hotel, the location is perfect for the old town, with shops, bars, cafes etc within a few metres walk. The main transport square is only maybe 50m away, with lots of buses and bikes. It’s such a cool vibe inside the hotel, like 70’s style. Very friendly staff, very good value. The breakfast is ok, like a continental selection, nothing hot (apart from boiled eggs) but it’s fine. I’m on the second floor and here is a slight fan type noise all the time, it’s quieter as you go down each floor, but I’ve slept well. The veranda is a little grubby, as is the central outdoor area, but everything else is immaculate. Don’t expect that perfect modern hotel look, the bathroom for example looks “dated” but that’s the point - it’s really clean and looks so cool and homely, not like all the usual modern hotels that have no character. Good selection of books downstairs. I really like the place, originally booked 3 nights but extended that to just over a week which says something. Only marked 3 for Services as there’s not much else other than rooms, a chill out area and the breakfast room, so don’t expect spas/pools etc

Nous avons passé 5 nuits dans cet hôtel calme et paisible. Au vu du prix (38€ par nuit pour deux) nous ne nous attendions pas avoir autant de qualité. Les réceptionnistes sont parfaites et trouvent une solution à chaque situation, les chambres sont propres et spacieuses, la kitchenette est très bien équipée, la proximité du centre ville de Pau (à 15min en voiture)... Il faut savoir que le ménage n'est effectué que si le séjour est d'une semaine minimum. Il y a de quoi nettoyer et des serviettes propres sont donnés sans problème. Tout était parfait ! Nous recommandons cet hôtel pour un petit ou un long séjour.

Paid for a 4* hotel but had a room of a 3*! I was given a room in a floor where some building works were going on. Floor of the corridor leading to the room was covered in plastic and tape! Room was quite small and dark, no water in the room provided or anything in the mini fridge. Beds were badly made. With bed sheets hanging out of mattresses. Receptionist looked like was making you a favour instead of being proud of his job. Breakfast was OK but for a 4* I would expect better selection. No toaster available! Running out of coffee all the time due to only have 2 machines. Definitely not a 4* hotel for the room provided and service! Quite expensive for the service you have! Needs load of improvement if wants to be rated as such! I travel quite often so I can compare with other hotels I have been with same rating!

We arrived Hotel Le Biarritz in the middle of the night, desperate to get a room for the night for 2 adults and 3 kids, due to our originally booked apartment hotel next door gave us cardkeys that were not activated upon arrival. The reception was closed and the telephone number in case of ”emergency” was turned off after midnight. We were warmly welcomed by a very nice man, unfortunately I do not remember his name. We got 2 rooms with a very good discount and the 3rd room for free. The children were hungry, so we asked if we could buy some snacks. He offered us pancakes. He went to the kitchen and came out with a trey full of pancakes, yoghurts, and 3 different sorts of cakes and water. He also asked if we wanted breakfast in the morning, but we were not sure we would make it in time, so he told us we can have the breakfast for free. We also had access to the pool the day after. Unfortunately we didn't have time to try it. Our rooms were small, but nice and clean. (I see from the pictures on their website that they have bigger rooms with balcony). In the morning we got breakfast while the kids were still sleeping. We then got a little basket we could bring to the room with full of croissants for the kids. If it wasn't for the already paid apartment hotel, we would have stayed in hotel Le Biarritz for the rest of our stay in Biarritz. We have never ever experienced such a nice welcoming and service in any other hotel we have stayed at before and strongly recommend this hotel for the service and location. It is located near the beach, 5 min walk. 10 min walk to the grocery store and other nice restaurant. The bus stop is also located right outside the hotel. You can also walk all the way to the city on a sidewalk right by the beach. We would definitively one back to hotel Le Biarritz.

We stopped here on our way to Spain from the UK. The hotel is brilliantly decorated: from the front desk to the rooms in Pop Art style. Our 10 year old loved it and so did our pug! Super friendly staff. 10 minute walk from Auchan, a large supermarket where you can get fresh produce and everything you need. But there is also a McDonald's, 2 minute walk, if you prefer... Breakfast is amazing, with fresh orange juice, a range of coffees, eggs, prosciutto, cheese, fruit, and, of course, fantastic bread, croissants and pain aux chocolate. We loved the complimentary fresh lemonade, when arriving from a long journey in the middle of the heatwave. In a word, brilliant! We will be back, for sure!

The hotel is very dated with old furniture nearly falling apart. However the room is big, the bed is comfortable and the shower is powerful. The location is really good within walking distance to the center. Most important for us to book this hotel is its gated secured car park.

ANNONCE MENSONGERE: vous vendez une chambre de 17 à 24 m2 avec un lit queen size pour 231€ les 2 nuits du 13 au 15 aout 2022 Nous nous sommes retrouvés dans une chambre d'à peine 11 m2 (juste la place de faire le tour du lit), un lit de 140, salle d'eau minuscule avec abattant de wc qui ne tient pas et pommeau de douche qui ne tient pas non plus sur la barre de douche (ce que l'on a signalé à la reception) La chambre n'était pas une classic mais une basic à 110€ la nuit (voir photo) Apparemment, nous ne sommes pas les premiers à nous plaindre (dixit la reception) Que comptez vous faire pour nous dédommager ???? Et on espère un peu plus que la différence de prix soit 11€ !!!!!
