Title: Squeaky Clean and Good Storage, But Be Aware of Strict Cashless Fees and Missing Essentials Review: I recently stayed at the Sotetsu Fresa Inn Kobe Sannomiya. While the hardware of the hotel is good, certain policies and service gaps significantly impacted the comfort of my stay. On the positive side, the hygiene standards here are excellent. The room was spotless and very modern, which is always the most critical factor for me when traveling. I also want to express my appreciation for the luggage keeping arrangement. Being able to store my bags securely and easily both before check-in and after check-out was a huge help, allowing me to explore Kobe freely without the burden of heavy luggage. However, international travelers need to be aware of a major caveat: this is a strictly ”cashless” hotel. I attempted to pay with cash to avoid bank fees, but was refused. I was forced to use my VISA card, which meant I was hit with foreign transaction and exchange fees that amounted to roughly an extra 5% cost on my trip. I found this policy very rigid and frustrating for guests who prefer using cash. Furthermore, the in-room amenities and service were disappointing. Guests should know that the rooms are completely bare of essentials—there are no razors, toothbrushes, or toothpaste provided in the room. Realizing this late at night caused unnecessary trouble. Additionally, the housekeeping service lacked attention to detail; even though my Yukata (sleepwear) was clearly used and left out to be changed, the staff did not replace it with a fresh one. Overall, Sotetsu Fresa Inn offers a very clean environment, but the lack of basic in-room amenities and the strict payment policy make it difficult for me to fully recommend it to travelers trying to manage their budget and convenience.

Its not a new hotel but the massive balcony by the sea is awesome. very spacious and super comfortable bed. good AC. parking was within the hotel. free welcome drinks for all guests from 2pm, including sparking wine. breakfast selection was HUGE! with fresh orange juice machine, fresh made burgers, dount rack and loads more!

The hotel is well located and the room was clean. However, I felt uncomfortable during check-in because I did not receive a welcome/check-in bag while other guests did. There was no explanation given, which made the experience feel unfair. I hope the hotel can improve transparency about guest amenities.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, they provided an extra pillow when we requested. There is a microwave on level 2 which you can use to heat up your convenience store food items after.However, we had some issues with the room. 1. The aircon green light is very bright and shines down on your face through the night, would be good to cover it with something. 2. The window blinds are right behind your head and have big gaps allowing large amounts of light to come through in the morning. The toilet was also quite small with limited hanging space.

Saya bertukar ke hotel ini pada saat-saat akhir kerana lokasinya yang selesa. Tanpa diduga, ia benar-benar melebihi jangkaan saya! Beberapa kejutan: Lokasinya lebih mudah daripada yang saya bayangkan. Banyak kedai terkenal berada dalam jarak 5 minit berjalan kaki, apatah lagi kereta bawah tanah, yang terletak di tingkat bawah. Sangat mudah untuk ke Kyoto keesokan harinya; Wanita di meja depan memberi saya hotel bertingkat tinggi. Pemandangannya bagus. Saya melihat matahari terbenam ketika saya mendaftar masuk. Tidak perlu pergi ke Gunung Rokko. Ia juga sangat tenang dan kalis bunyi, tidak ada bunyi sama sekali pada waktu malam; Kemudahan bilik adalah sangat baru dan pintar. Loved the great array of drinks available. Perfect for the weary traveler. Having a cup of hot coco set me up for the night. Loved the pajamas. The bed was the softest bed out of all the hotels I have been in Japan. Slept well as a result.

Staff were very helpful and competent. I did the booking in my name, but my wife arrived earlier and they were understanding to check her in first. Amenities are standard level for a 3star hotel with free descent coffee in foyer I believe think it makes them a light 4star. The room we booked was big enough to fit 3 people and beds were quite comfortable. The view from our 10 floor was great although the window is small. We had the Ikuta shrine view in full, Fontostico!

Stay a night for a stop over, room is reasonable in size, with enough space for two luggages and walking around. Location is not sure, as we think it is just a stop over, which is short drive from the highway exit. Few Restaurants nearby but some of them operate till 19:00 only

The Location of hotel is very near to Ikuta Shrine and the nightlife of Kitanocho, where is within easy walking distance. The room is clean but too tiny. the bathroom also provided the bathtub. Breakfast is good but not much of choices. Overall, it's good hotel.
