Hotel Dengan parking di Tochigi Prefecture, Japan

We chose the hotel because it is close to the Nikko Tobu station and the buses around the area. The style of the rooms is a little unusual but everything was functional and clean. We did have a nice view over Nikko and the mountains from the window. The bathroom was very small but was clean and had nice toiletries. There was a kettle and fridge and there was a list of other requirements that you could ask for at reception. There was a sofa area by reception with drinks vending machines and a large case storage area for early arrival / late departure. There was also a bright and airy breakfast room with a self service breakfast that was included in the price. We had a lovely stay in Nikko and would choose to stay there again.

Food and service are superb. I did not check our reservation of the shuttle bus clearly so caused some misunderstanding but the manager was really nice and resolved the problem with his outstanding service. Very appreciated and thankful! And sorry for our mistake! Food was the most recognised selling point of the place ! Keep it up ! The only weakness: The blanket was too thick for us and caused sleeping problem.

Lovely hotel. The female receptionist is so kind. It is a little far from the station and main roads, but ok if you have a car. The shower and bed was excellent. It has free tea and coffee but you need to buy your own breakfast things from 7/11. Most outside breakfast places open at 9am or 10am and were nothing special. There is an excellent steak place 400m uphill from the restaurant, but you need the reception to make a booking. It is very expensive, but extremely high quality. The Italian downtown is fab. Try the carbonara, salad, gnocchi, duck and tiramisu. Next to it is an excellent sushi place called Komekichi Kouzushi which is great, but the Italian restaurant was the winner.

Beautiful old hotel. The dinner was fabulous- so elegant and wonderfully delicious. The grounds are picturesque Best thing is the location. It is up a steep hill so walking up and down is a challenge for older knees. That being said once down the hill, it is a short walk to the famous Shinkyo Bridge and across the street from the bridge is the Toshogu Shrine complex.

4.5 stars!  Property is older but extremely well maintained.  The corner western/Japanese rooms are spacious with two western beds and tatami area, single japanese bath and shower area and separate toilet area, mini fridge, tv, sitting area overlooking the river and table with four chairs as well as a massage chair!  Onsen area has both indoor and outdoor areas separate for men and women and a cold plunge as well as multiple hot baths.  Minus half a star for low staffing in the store/cafe areas (often no staff member to be found when kakigori desired), no in house lunch option and overly fatty meat on the 3rd night dinner (breakfast and dinner were LARGE and BEAUTIFUL but perhaps heavy on the yuba.  Also, shuttle to the train station is only at 10 and 11am and getting cabs is difficult.  However, would overwhelmingly recommend Nikko Senhime Monogatari!

Each of my 3 days here I’d in Nikko I’d return to NSHC after a big day exploring and appreciate what a great place. Excellent centrally convenient to both stations (when arriving/departing and the bus stops to various regions), clean, warm, quiet, friendly, efficient, hot onsen (in & outdoors), spacious and pleasing facilities, good value & abundant breakfast which is discounted weekdays to 1500 yen (though don’t think of getting a sandwich or fruit past the hawkeye ladies attending. It’s a place that everything has been thought of and runs well. And a very secure luggage storage system if you arrive before 3pm check-in to let easily you visit the amazing World Heritage Areas by bus. Highly recommended.

とてもきれいなホテルでした。スタッフもとても親切です。 お風呂もお掃除が行き届いていて清潔でした。 朝食はブッフェスタイルで種類も多めで、選んだものは全て美味しかったです。 洗濯乾燥機を利用しましたが、乾燥機はなかなか乾かなくて、時間とお金をだいぶ使いました。

日本春節期間溢價嚴重，若照正常房價來看才是物有所值的，晚餐雖然看似大陣仗但不算太精緻，而且無論早晚餐，都需要等待好一段時間才能叫號入座，最可怕的應該是Check-in的等待時間是前所未有的長，從抵達大門後需要在車上等，幾乎是完全沒遇過的事，再到休息室等待接駁纜車、再到大廳等待辦理入住，全程近40分鐘實在很掃興，主因應該是纜車接駁問題，但就連房客外出返回也需要和辦理入住者一起等候，建議可以提供例如步行斜坡、階梯的替代方案

Room : Standard room spacious for 2 people Bathroom : Spacious. I like the most. Food : Breakfast - Simple but nice and tasty too. Facilities : Laundry - cheaper and convenience. If you don't have coin, you can always go to their receptionist counter and ask for the change. Extra : Iron & Iron Board - you can request at the counter. Check In : Super easy and fast (provided that you have all the docs ready. Just give the booking number & passport to them)
